- Pershore is a small town in Worcestershire, between Worcester and Evesham, and close to the River Avon. It’s known for its Georgian architecture and for the very impressive Abbey, many lovely old buildings including the Old Bridge, and for being a centre of plum-growing. The name means “The riverbank where willows grow."
