You can add or omit anything from a recipe. A recipe is only something to guide you along. You could completely change this recipe if you wanted. An example would be to replace the ground turkey with shredded beef, spaghetti sauce instead of cheese sauce, and use peppers and mushrooms instead of squash.
Laura, I love your Lasagna pan, perfect dimensions, I have been searching for one that size and depth. Can you please give the brand and where you purchased it? Thank you so much.
Hi laura. I love your recipes. But it would be easier if you put "print" button to print the recipe only not the whole webpage. And if you can put the link in the lower bar to the recipe directly not to the home page. Thanks

Me too!
Laura, is there anything that can substitute the squash? It's not a very well liked dish in my family, and I was wondering if there was anything that could make for a good replacement.
I started using chicken base because of you instead of chicken broth or stock and I LOVE it!!! It saves money in the end because you arent buying cartons and cartons of stock. Thank you!!
She's perky and fun to watch x) oh and not to forget that she's pretty as well.
The butternut squash looks like mangos to me XD
Fadingclouds AJ +1
The way you put everything in an EASY WAY.... thats what makes me an addicted follower to you... +laura thank you for being in this world 😍😘
lol..."that's so hot" and she cuts another piece
I wish she would let her food cool longer before trying it. She burns her mouth in practically every episode.
Lol XD
Laura don't do 'let food cool longer'
Can you guys please share who makes the casserole dish you use? I need a big, deep one like that! Thanks, this looks delicious!
Hi laura you are amazing girl!! That. Looks SO good!! You and joe have a wonderful channel and I love your vlogs so much . I drink my morning coffee with your vlogs then my day starts. You both are great
Laura, if you had your own restaurant I'd go there every single day, omg.
really random question , but does anyone know the title of the music at the beginning of her videos ? thanks :)
This is the first proper recipe for lasagnas (although I prepare meat a little bit different and cook the pasta). Everyone is so stingy with cheese on every layer part. I noticed when others don't add cheese to them it all falls apart or just slides. So it kind of keeps it all together :)
I'm so glad that I found this channel you have a great ideas , I love cooking and you are the best friend of every girl who loves to cook for the love ones !!!
I love how you say a tiny bit some times and you add a handful
"a tablespooon of olive oil" *drizzles oil into pan for 30 seconds* - a bunch of chefs on TH-cam/TV
I was crying when you ate it OMG I wanted to grab in and take the whole dish lol
Why did food network did not hire you yet, I can't stop looking!
They did I do believe, or a channel, she has her own tv show
Ohhhhh! Se ve delicioso!!! lasagna es mi pasta favorita.
Laura, This is a great idea, because our harvest of butternut squash this year was absolutely incredible.
Laura in the Kitchen looks like the perfect winter lasagna! mmm!
Parsley "Sage, Rosemary & Thyme" Like if you get the reference lol not a lot gonna get it. xD 😄😄😄
Simon and Garfunkel?
Why did I laugh every time you said butternut squash? lol!! looks amazing
Gee, do you cool EVERYDAY? Thanks laura, this is all going to take so much gym time to burn off and you still do it anyway :)
can you do a sweet potato casserole recipe as well as a stuffing recipe with no meat? thanks so much.xo
im staying up intill 1:45 watching your videos haha, and im getting pretty hungry so i made a peanut butter sandwich haha
I use regular lasagna noodles but never boil them. They soften up in the sauce while its baking. I never understood why people boil their noodles.
I do because I like less sauce and more cheese. Lack of sauce causes the noodles' ends to burn and not bake entirely if they haven't been pre-cooked (only a few seconds in boiling water).
Every time she said "The world is my/your pickle" my heart melted
the world is your pickle! you should get a patent fr dat! love you laura! :D
I've made plenty of Lasagna but not as good looking as this dish
Laura needs to make some t-shirts saying "the world is your pickle"
this looks incredible Laura=D!!xx
Ohhhh my goshhh! This video is such a tease! I wannnnnntttt some!
This looks good! What can I use instead of the poultry spice? Can someone who has it home lists the ingredients on the jar here? Thanks, I'm notreom the US.
I found this recipe on the internet:
Ingredients for 1 ounce of seasoning:
2 teaspoons ground sage
1 1/2 teaspoons ground thyme
1 teaspoon ground marjoram
3/4 teaspoon ground rosemary
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
(If you're using fresh then just grind them up with a food processor or coffee grinder or a mortar and pestle)
Directions:
1) Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
2) Store in a clean used spice bottle tightly covered.
Be careful! Why do you always burn your mouth???
i don think you needed all of that salt cuz you put so much cheese
Girl, shes been doing this for years. Laura knows what shes doing
I cringed also...the meat has salt AND chicken stock and the cheeses used are salty ones. No doubt she knows what's she's doing but she is definitely a cook that loves salt. that extra pinch of salt used in the white sauce was unecessary. (coming from someone who makes her recipes)
This looks even better than traditional lasagna!
Please put in a blooper reel lol Laura makes the cutest faces when she eats the food and it's too hot :)
and here I am eating instant noodles. :')
I love your youtube add! It just came up, before this video.
Hey Laura. This looks like a beautiful recipe! I can't wait to make it for my family. I was just wondering if you can please advise what is a good substitute for Yukon Gold Potatoes. I have not been able to find them in Australia!
Hi Laura in the Kitchen and everyone ! I just wanted to ask if it is ok if i make your/her classic lasagna recipe but i'm going to change the sauce from red to white sauce.? I'm going to use this white sauce recipe. Because I love classic lasagna and white sauce. Do you think it will become good ?? Any response please :)
Actually I'm hungry right now
Looks delicious, Laura! Going to try this replacing the ground turkey with either ground veal or ground pork, since my family doesn't care for ground turkey.
I love the no boil lasagna too! Makes things SO much easier! For those who say it doesn't get done or doesn't cook fully, you must use the following steps: make sure all the lasagna noodles are completely covered with whatever sauce you are using, that you cover the pan with foil or a lid, and that it bakes for the full amount of recommended time. If you do these things, it will come out perfect every time. Trust me. I found out the hard way! Also here's something you may not know, it doesn't have to be the no boil type to work this way. It works with most all lasagna as long as you follow the steps I mentioned above. I use a regular type (not no boil) and it always works like a charm! :)
Hot diggity that looks delicious!
For the first time EVER I'm not watching a Laura Vitale-video without craving the food she's making - because I am actually eating lasagna right now! Freaky. :D
My mouth is also watering!
After its been in your mouth for 10 seconds, you finally realize it's hot... lmao
you're on a ROLL!!!! this looks amazing.... well, off to make your nonnas stuffed peppers!! Xoxo
Can you do winter drinks!?!??
Omg looks amazzzzing!! You're spoiling us with these recipes every day! I love butternut squash so this is right up my alley!
Laura, whenever I make white sauce, after I pour in the milk, there are always lumps and I cannot get rid of them. Any tips for me please?

Anche io adoro gli angoli della lasagna!!! ^.^

Does anyone know where her beautiful yellow baking dish is from? Thanks
Nice recipe Laura I'm going to make it for Thanksgiving, thank you.
mammamia ho l'acquolina in bocca ;)
When you said "my mouth is watering", I was thinking.. "you have no idea Laura.." LOL
It looks and sounds amazing! Will for sure make this for my family (^_^)
So funny! I had lasagna today, too! Mine was with mushrooms, cottage cheese and herb cream cheese....
PLEASE HELP!! I have a question. I would love to make the thanksgiving lasagna recipe for my family but we are making so much stuff on thanksgiving day can I premake it the day before and than warm it somehow? Thanks.
If this was refrigerated overnight; would it get heated through all those 4 layers with just 15-20 minutes in the oven? I need a bit of reassurance, from your experience...Thank you Laura - lasagna has always been "red" at our house; and this looks wonderful!
I love you girly....I made the veggie pot pie yesterday for dinner....hubby loved it :) I'm so making this for dinner tomorrow....you inspire me in the kitchen ;)
laura your mom called , she said use the white pepper !!!! USE THE WHITE PEPPER !!!!!
:-}
Lovely Laura =) I haven't seen a recipe of 'Moussaka' from you here. If you haven't done it yet, could you do it in the near future? Thanks for your fantastic videos. Happy Holidays. ^_^
I like lasagna with shrimps, chicken and/or turkey in it. I also like tomatoes, mushrooms and fresh herbs in it. And I like all of it to be organic. After watching your video, I have the feeling I can make my own delicious organic lasagna.
I LOVE your show and almost all your recipies (not all only because i'm a vegetarian), but man I'm not used to so much salt! well, who am I to say what's right or wrong, but it's so weird to see SO much salt in the recepies. hope you dont take it the wrong way, I adore the show
Hi Laura, I was wondering if this recipe can be done with frozen butternut squash? I'd love to try and make it but have frozen butternut squash from the grocery store in my freezer at the moment.
Laura your commentary is hilarious! I totally feel you though.
"the world is your pickle"
its delicus .... can you do a chicken with mushroom lasagna ???
My mouth is salivating just watching you eat. This looks super delicious! Now got to go find something to eat, I'm hungry.
I am sure Garfield would enjoy it. LOL My wife would love it.
Unfortunately cheese and i do not go well together.
made today, have to say i was doubtful my English family wouldnt have enjoyed it, however i was proved wrong, thank you
Mushrooms, eggplant althoughy eggplant can dig up tr turkey, mixture of peas carrots potatoes or just replace the squash with turkey
Looks delicious, but parmegiano reggaino is just so damn expensive :( here it cost $10 for 200g
Also to make it veggie, you'd need to use vegetable stock.
I made this for Thanksgiving. It was delicious. Also freezes well.
Thanks Laura for sharing, and thanks to Nana as well ;)
Lmaoo the cameraman did a 'hmmm' at like 8:08 !

Well I know it's a weird question but how did you get use to the imperial metric system since you were born and kinda raised in Italia ?
