i made this and it turned out so good! I can say - restaurant quality ! :) i did change a few things: i used homemade pesto (basil, garlic, pine nuts, salt, black pepper, (optional)chili flakes) in place of a store bought one. I used baby bella mushrooms, carrots, fresh spinach, zucchini, bell peppers and it turned out great. the pesto really makes a difference! the ricotta cheese i used said fat free but i am skeptic.
i'm romanian and i'm far from home as you are, i live in canada. i started watching your channel a few months ago what i can say is that i juste love it you gove me some good inspiration to ''come back home'' myself, by cooking. i hope you have a great life :)
I LOVE that you didn't go low-fat on this dish, Laura. Sometimes, we all need to do it up RIGHT and really enjoy a naughty dish. Like you emphasized, not every day, but sometimes. If you always go low-fat you're not living! Live a little, eh? Thanks Laura. You're beautiful and so helpful! Muwahh!
I tried this recipe yesterday for my husbands birthday dinner and him including all my guests absolutely loved it! I am definitely a fan Laura. Keep em comin! x
Laura I love you're sense of humor and I love your passion for cooking. You are so beautiful and truly have inspired me to cook me! Never stop doing what you love!
Outstanding!!! I followed your instructions to the letter...just added frozen peas and carrots, and left out mushrooms. I also added a few more spices to the veggies. All the layers were so tasty!! The no bake noodles were perfectly moist. This was so good that not only my pescatarian daughter loved it, but my meat-eating family members loved it too! Thanks for another delicious meal!
Thank you Laura for doing this recipe. I have been searching for a lasagna with the white sauce and have been unsucessful. Thanks to you I am able to see it. I'm excited to try it! I love all of your videos!
A little tip for Laura and everyone else, when you're done making the Bechamel and you let it rest and cool, you wanna cover it in contact with Plastic wrap or cling film. This way, you'll prevent it from creating undesired crusts in the surface.
I've also created my own vegetarian lasagne with a filling made of creamy spinach, roasted peppers, carrots and sweetcorn as a replacement for the meat and it is delicious. I'm a non-veg but really wanted to see if I could come up with a nutritious and yummy vegetarian version and challenged my self and it seems I succeeded as my family were impressed!!!
Don't judge me....lol I so can not judge because watching u make it made my mouth water. I love cheese so this recipe is perfect. I can not wait to try it.
I made this recipe, but substituted firm tofu for the ricotta and added some italian seasoning to it and it was soo delicious. Everybody loved the sauce!
Love this recipe! Super easy! Thank you so much! Made this for my friends this weekend. They absolutely loved it! Thank you very much for your delicious recipes!
Two great ideas from this video! I never thought to use asparagus in veggie lasagna, and I never thought to add pesto to the bechamel! Really just walk around the produce section (or farmers market in summer) and grab whatever veggies look good and/or are on sale! I agree about the lack of fresh basil. Here in Wisconsin it's pretty much grow your own in the house or you're stuck with those tiny bits of any fresh herbs from the grocery store. Thanks, Laura!!
Oh my goodness!!! I made this recipe but I added a ragu w/ walnut ‘meat’ and a bit of Asiago. It was AMAZING!! Literally the most delicious flavorful dish ever. Thank You 😊 💕
Just made this. It's browning in the oven right now. It's pretty time consuming but I know it will be well worth it. It smells AMAZING! I can't wait to eat it. I did mine with zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms and spinach. Nomnomnom
Thank-you Laura for this gorgeous recipe! I literally just finished making it for the family. I used a blend of Cheddar, Mozzerella & Parmesan, made a red sauce out of tomato soup (accident lol) & diced tomatoes (I poured it over the veges) ! Such a delicious recipe! That nutmeg in the bechamel is BOMB !
I love vegetable lasagna, I make mine similar to yours, I use what Evers available at the Farmers market. The only differences are; the noodles, Most of my family, including myself does not like the no cook noodles at all and for the top I put bread crumbs, melted butter & sometimes finely crushed p.nuts. Gives it a bit of texture & flavor.. Enjoy your video's, Thank you! By the way, I used to feel the same way about basil, now I grow it inside & out, It's really not difficult or time consumings.
"im gonna add in half of my cheese" (laura scoops half of the cheese into the pot) "ohhhhh who am i kiddin" (pours whole bowl of cheese into pot instead) hahahahahah i love you laura.
If Laura opened her very own restaurant, no one would be able to eat there because there would be too many people. She's just got this passion for what she does and if funny and alive when she does it. AMAZING.
I think I would add some fresh grape/cherry tomato/basil/shallot and roasted garlic sweet red sauce to this dish. Also, butternut squash and a diced eggplant to this dish. Take out the peas and asparagus I also like a touch of nutmeg and cinnamon as well to the bechamel sauce. Add a variety of mushrooms and any other meaty root winter veggies that you like.
A tip to fix the basil problem: You can buy basil seeds, so you can grow you're own. Way cheaper and no chemicals! Like this, you will always have basil (or other herbs) on hand :)
Hi Laura I really enjoy Italian food and I love to cook too ii make different kind of lasagna and something similar like your but I didn't use an egg in the riccota and taste delicious too. I love that u make looks delicious
omg just made it....laura you said it was a little intensive...this was a MARATHON! i'm waiting for it to cool now and then as you always say: the test is in the taste. Here goes....i hope its good! :D
Laura, I had to pause your video so I could comment. I'm not sure if its the lighting, but you look extremely beautiful and glowy looking! I hope for the tutorial soon!
Jesus said it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.You must get to know the real God Jesus Christ. Do you believe in God,? In the last day Jesus would resurrect everyone who ever lived including the good and the bad, and the good would go to heaven while the bad would perish and be tormented in Hell for all eternity, there is no reincarnating into another species, that is a lie, you only have this life to get right with God. today I want to share with you the Gospel of God Jesus Christ who is the only God who came in the flesh and lived among us about 2000 years ago and he was crucified and died for our sins, all men have sinned against God and hence we live in a world full of trouble because the first people named Adam and Eve ate from the tree which God commanded them not to eat from, hence because of their disobedience, Adam and Even were cast out of Paradise. But God in his love and mercy made a way for us to get back into this paradise so that we can once again live with him for eternity in paradise where we never grow old or die and where there is no pain or suffering for all eternity. Today you can take the first step in this journey by believing in God Jesus Christ and accepting him as God(as he was not just a good teacher) and by repenting of your sins. In the last day Jesus would resurrect everyone who ever lived including the good and the bad and the good would go to heaven while the bad would perish and be tormented in Hell for all eternity, there is no reincarnating into another species, that is a lie, you only have this life to get right with God. Therefore we must repent of our sins today and realize that we are not Gods, neither are we divine, only God is divine. Jesus is God and he taught us how to live when he came to Earth , there are 2 destinations either Heaven or Eternal hell fire, those believe in Jesus Christ and who live according to Jesus Christ would go to Heaven but those wicked people who reject him and choose their own paths would be cast into the lake of fire where they shall be tormented for all eternity, this is just the reality, nonetheless it is not fear that cause me to live for God but rather it is my love for him in that he is a merciful and loving God. Focus on the things of God instead of the things of this world as the things of this world are only temporary but the things of God are eternal. If you would like to know more about this I encourage you to study the ESV and KJV Bible as there is vital knowledge that you must have in there as it explains Gods plan for Humanity and what we must do to please him. Do not delay, tomorrow is not promised.Jesus bless you

You can sift it and what may also help is to lower the flame under your pan a little bit. And of course keep stirring very well.
