the second ones , dough with peanut butter & nutella .
it is called as (kanom) "pia" . Basically , it is a Chinese stuffed pie-snack.
Normally, it comes with bigger size and fill with some kinds of sweet bean paste and salty yolk.
yours were adaptive version of them, filled with creamy paste.
They were delicious. We can’t turn down peanut butter and Nutella flavours 😅

Happy New Year with love if you have it. The dessert of sweets and not only is excellent in Thailand and definitely different from EU. What drives everyone crazy is that they are very nutritious with Asian varieties every time in combination with other from Asia. Great video congratulations.

The only way to learn a new language is to start from the tutorial. Finally, I subscribed to the Thai language tutorial and it really works. There are 40 consonants, vowels, symbols. There are many immigrants from the neighbouring countries and they don't usually pronounce clearly in which I did find out from the Aussie teachers and linguists. Once you have identified the consonants and vowels, that is it - you got the basic. Just 20 minutes a day and another 10 days would be 200 minutes to recognize the vowels. Best Wishes!

My favorite Thai dessert is Thap Tim Crop, the water chestnuts (they make it like red small jelly but crunchy) with coconut milk. Usually can see it in most restaurant.
And then, I am so interested in that peanut butter thingy as well. The pastry is the Chinese pastry style. The traditional Chinese pastry usually stuff with red bean/ pandan / black sesame etc etc. What a unique creative way they make it with peanut butter and Nutella 👍and salted egg yolk 😱🤤🤤

It changes very quickly - so by the time you read this it could already have changed again! If you’re vaccinated it’s somewhat easier. The test & go is currently on hold (but was the easiest option). Other than that you can do 1 week local quarantine in Phuket (where you essentially have the whole island to roam for 1 week whilst staying in the same hotel so they can make sure you’re taking your tests etc). Otherwise you san do ASQ in BKK 7 days if vaccinated or 10 if not. But in that option you’re 100% staying inside a quarantine hotel room! Hope that helps

How long have you guys been in Thailand and what was it like getting in? Wanting to visit this year if possible but curious what the Covid protocols are like for foreigners to get into the country. Glad to recently discovered your travel channel. So far it’s great content. Thanks for sharing
Hello Tony! We arrived over a year ago now, had to quarantine 14 days. It's changed a lot now. Up until last week you could do 1 day quarantine but covid cases rising has changed that back to a 7 day sandbox (where you can roam around Phuket)

Fun fact : Those golden egg threads on crispy pancake are originally dessert from Portugal called "fio de ovos" (angel hair) which was introduced to Thailand since the ancient time and became "ฝอยทอง" (pronounced as 'Foi Thong'.)
Not only Thailand, the Portuguese in the past also introduced this fio de ovos to Japan and has been called 'Keiran Soumen' (鶏卵そうめん) by Japanese.
However, Thai version recipe of this dessert is quite unique compare to Portugal and Japan, because we use 'duck egg' while the other two use 'chicken egg'.

Thai coconut pancake say (Kanom Babin) 😋
It's called ' Salted Egg lava with Nutella & Peanut Butter ' In Thai it's called ' Kanom Pia lava' It's a Chinese lava with layer inside The original one is Salted Egg that is delicious!!!!!!!!!!! Next time If u love dessert u should try Sticky rice with Custard or with Mango or Durian I think u will loved it & Sticky rice that grill and got a flavor in it will be nice!!!!!!!! The peanut butter and nutella stuff ones called Ka-nom-Piea Lava. There are the traditional version of Ka-nom-piea, but the lava one with various stuff and gooey texture is more popular in these couple of years for young people.
