The dissatisfied customers of fakes prove they don't come up to standards as also testing by safety standards show the dangers of these products with

well, most of these sellers are not Thai, they are foreigner mostly from India, Iran, Sri Lanka etc.

You overpayed on that trip to MBK, that too on a TukTuk. They charged so high because you’re a tourist. By using the grab app, the charges are really really cheap!

I recently went to MBK with a group of mates, we had the lady get us sizes for 6 tshirts. She initially wanted 200bht each, but we tried to bargain down to 150bht ea. We started to walk away when she didnt agree. She finally agreed to 1000bht for 6 (166bht ea). Good deal i think, but didnt make us very popular as she yelled at us for making her run and get sizes before negotiating a price. Ah well..

Thailand seems expensive for the knock off market. Shenzhen still seems like the best pricing for these types of things.
EDIT: as I watch further Colin mentions how the resell on the off white shoes are expensive, but you CANT base their sale price on aftermarket retail. The Off White Nike’s might be hyped shoes but at the end of the day the shoes still cost them pennies to the dollar.
It’s no different then paying $50 for a knock off rolex. The going price is $50 everywhere in Shenzhen. The moment they say, “ Real Rolex cost $25k.” Then try to charge you $2k for A Grade knock off then the whole market is screwed.
