Comparing PS5 DualSense Controller 1st Gen vs 2nd Gen

The Playstation 5 currently has two generation controllers including the BDM010 and the BDM020 or the 1st and 2nd Gen. In this quick review I compare both controllers and see if the DualSense has had many changes. Even though the changes are minor, the 2nd Gen is more durable and I would say it will outlast the first gen. I hope this video was helpful, thanks for stopping by!

Also Dualsense has the 3rd gen, bdm-030. The trigger train is narrow and motor is soldered.

Is the different R1 and L1 buttons linked to the controller generation as well?? Because some controllers have L1 and R1 buttons with the cylinder slightly infront of what looks like wings, and some have the cylinder right in between the 2 wings.

Also silicone pad under d pad n x o square n triangle buttons. Controller that came with my ps5 on release is much quieter i bought a red controller and it was noisy when pressing buttons so i swap it out.

Good tip but doesn't matter too much since the adaptive triggers constantly make loud noises while playing certain games. Also the vibration.

If u don’t use the rumble, the battery will be better,I’m using the ps5 controller to play on ps3 and I last a lot, and right now I’m playing like 7 hours a day and never have to charge the controller for like 4 days or more

My new controller vibration is obviously weaker than my old one，when you play dirt 5 or Astro，the feeling is different something in vibration is missing in new gen controller！！The detail in vibration in old one is much more detail than in new gen！！
