Baddha konasana | How to Protect Your Knees in Butterfly Pose or Bhadrasana | Steps

  • Baddha konasana is also popularly known as the Butterfly Pose, Bhadrasana or titliasana because of the movement of the legs during the posture, giving the appearance of a butterfly flapping its wings. Targeting primarily the legs, it is the perfect antidote to relax and stretch the muscles of the legs. This yoga pose will relax your body, mind and soul that will comfort your tired feet.
    In this video, I will demonstrate the right way to do Baddha konasana or Titliasana for beginners. Proper way to do Badhakonasana or butterfly pose will help your to protect your knee and lower back while doing Bhadrasana.
    Benefits of Baddha konasana or Butterfly pose Or bhadrasana
    1) Hip flexibility: Baddhakonasana can have a profound impact on hip flexibility and health.
    2) Digestion: Titliasana stimulates several abdominal organs, which can contribute to improved digestion and reproductive health.
    3) Blood flow: Bhadrasana engages the kidneys, bladder, and ovaries, which can increase blood flow to these areas.
    4) Leg flexibility: Butterfly can develop flexibility in the legs.
    5) Strength: Baddakonasana can strengthen the backbone, thighs, hips, and buttocks.
    Focus and concentration: Bhadrasana can improve focus and concentration.
    6) Fatigue: Baddha konasana can combat fatigue.
    7) Varicose veins: Bhadrasana can relieve varicose veins in people who regularly practice it.
    8) Lung capacity: Butterfly can increase lung capacity by opening up the chest.
    Bhadrasana can also help with:
    Anal-rectal diseases
    Hemorrhoids
    Hernia
    Kidney, prostate, and bladder health
    However, people with knee injuries, rheumatoid arthritis, or who have had knee, ankle, or hip surgery should avoid Baddhakonasana.

      Yes kia ja sakta but knees upper nahi Jane chahiye jaisa video me bataya and better iska variation kia jata hai supta badha konasana after meal.

      Better hai na kare. Aj nahi to kal knee me injury ke chances jyada honge better ap blanket pe Beth ke apne knees ko hip line par le aaye jaise video me bataya hai.
