You saved my life, Doctor. Summer of 2023 I was experiencing whole body inflammatory arthritis, a big swollen belly, severe constipation and chronic fatigue. I happened upon one of your videos and ended up watching all of them. I am now pain free, bloat free, no constipation and the brain fog is null and void. I am even working part time now. Thank you for your service and for sharing such wisdom.

The reason people use ghost writer names on advice is because they don't want to take responsibility for the lies they tell and the bad results by the people who took it.
I don't know what is written in that book, but I definitely wouldn't take it as true.

Yes, I used to love my herbal teas and foraged for herbs until I realized it all was compromising my health at 67, so I went full carnivore with liver & bone marrow to grow well, walking with ease and a bounce in my step. My stage two spine fusion resolved with two years of corrective chiropractic! Then Visceral massages released fascia, eliminating those pains. I’ve spent a lot despite being below the poverty line via government poverty ensuring OAS, CPP. I was a 45 yr vegetarian until I collapsed and was suicidal refusing their pharmaceutical solution of a life dependent on chemicals that destroy organs and never heal root causes! All my days of spices, herbs, veggie gardening are gone. I found I dislike garlic immensely!

Food is medicin. I think we are now slowly figuring out the truth behind this, and the way our body really works. The gut is way more important than we give it credit for. Nobody thought about gut health and diet affecting mental health, but my depression symptoms got significantly less severe once I fixed my diet (no more junk food and sugar) and started fasting. Thank you for making it make sense for me. God bless you! I actually had a doctor tell me the gut had nothing to do with the thyroid, I fired him that day, and told him he was wrong. I guess he wants more sick patients and have them wait until their thyroids are destroyed and he has a forever patient.
Can the vagus nerve cause black outs? I had passed out for absolutely no reason, after a meal. It came on very quick, a sick feeling, then very sweaty and nauseous. If I had stayed in bed it would have passed, but I got up to go to the bathroom and didn’t make it back to the bed. A nice split on the back of my head, but woke up quickly, thank goodness my husband was close by. That’s the first time I’ve ever blacked out.
I learned I could reset the vagus nerve with breathing techniques, etc. and, all this new info you are providing is a God send on how to make the vagus nerve healthy again.
I’ve had gut issues for several years, I’ve based that diagnosis on my bowel movements and intermittent stomach pain. Also, recently discovered it was affecting my thyroid showing signs of inflammation. With rigorous research, I knew I had to fix my microbiome. I figured I had leaky gut as well. I think I caught it just in time before it could destroy my thyroid. All my numbers are in normal range now, with no meds, natural healing, and fixing my gut. I’m also low carb, and no gluten. This vagus nerve intrigues me, I will watch to the end. You’re helping me make sense to how the inflammation can affect the brain.
Just one question, which comes first, the destruction of the vagus verve by the gut or the vagus nerve destroying the gut? It seems for me, I had the gut issues and then the vagus nerve wasn’t working well and caused the black out. Thank you!

I agree but how do you give the body what it needs to heal? We are water , light and magnetism. You will never fix your gut until you fix your skin. You need sunlight from sunrises and build a solar callus--then you can get in UV light and heal your body and your digestive system. Stay away from screens and NNEMF and any light after sunset. You have a clock in your brain through your eye called the SCN and you have skin clocks that are non visual photo receptors. You will NEVER fix your gut until you fix your skin. Get your vitamin D level above 60 not from supplements. Get it up from UVB light from the sun. Only eat DHA from seafood not supplements!!

I found this excellent on the whole. After ill effects from a seasonal shot in ‘04 my research showed the likelihood I had some demyelination to my vagus nerve, given my symptoms. In my working with an ND and studying wholistic nutrition I’ve learned a lot regarding the importance of our gut health and the gut/brain axis. This helped me understand even better. Thank-you❣️
I do have one challenge at least, with your claims in saying we ‘have to’ supplement omega 3’s. I eat wild caught fish and seaweed and very rarely eat seed oils. Rarely eating out. I eat very well on the whole, consciously. I recommend The Weston A Price Foundation and Nourishing Traditions on varying perspectives regarding supplementing and more nutrition info.

Also years before that, I recall learning that gargling with water (perhaps after brushing teeth) stimulates the vagus nerve in the back of the throat and can trigger it to act to relieve bloating etc

As a Naturopath.. to be honest I was a bit disappointed when I clicked on this video. I thought he would be commenting on the emotional side of gut dysregulation. While wont diagree with some of this basic information, for people who have serious gastrointestinal issues the picture is much more complicated than eating the perfect diet and taking handlefuls of supplements to cure it...believe me I have tried. The vagal nerve is no doubt very important but the emotional effects that our nervous system undertakes and sends to our gut through this nerve are just as important than
the role of the microbiome. I can eat the healthiest diet but if i am under chronic stress and emotionally deprived my symptoms will get worse no matter what steps i take to treat the physical symptoms. Its not always what you eat but whats eating you!

I had chronic hives for 6 months every night. I did a 9-day water fast with one packet of electrolytes a day and on the ninth night the hives didn’t come and didn’t return. Simple and free cure. Also cold showers starting from hot and gradually reducing temp until ice cold helped with inflammation and histamine response. Dairy is extremely inflammatory so get rid of that along with all grains. Eat mainly meat and very few veges. I’ve done all this and it worked and my histamine / MAFS was severe. Also do not take antihistamines as that perpetuates the cycle. If you are currently taking them get off them - this was torture for me for a week but it did reduce the severity of my hives. I think there’s a strong rebound effect with antihistamines that stops the problem from disappearing. Good luck

For me the biggest trigger for bread and processed foods is soy lecithin and guar gum. Eggs, dairy, sausage, bacon, ham, deli meat, and jerky are also triggers. After having gut issues my entire life, I finally fixed it with a low histamine diet and anti-histamines. I did not know histamine intolerance was a thing. My headaches, brain fog, dizziness, fatigue, insomnia, and gut issues went away almost immediately. My sinuses and acne are slowly getting better. Oxalates may also cause gut, skin, and kidney issues and I decreased that first but it did not completely solve my issues.
