This is incredible to hear. I am a high school Principal and have often wondered what might happen if more kids ate like this. Removing dairy will definitely help with acne. Hopefully the grades will improve with time!
Yes, I teach elementary school and see it every day too! I hope more parents will try something like this! It's part of the reason I'm sharing it on my channel. Thanks for watching. I will update everyone on grades in a few weeks...
Woohoo 🥳 Update!
So proud of you and your son!!!!
You are teaching us too because I think my oldest had ADHD and I homeschooled him for eight years and it was tough. I wish I’d known about carnivore ..
I’m praying he’s gonna pass. I’m gonna keep him in prayer 🙏💕🙏💕👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
Yes! ADHD can have so many more symptoms than just being fidgety and not paying attention. I like to highlight the emotional dysregulation and especially the improvement in that area that we've seen because it's pretty fantastic.
Encouraging to hear this interview.
Thank you! I'm really proud of him.
This is so awesome. It's fantastic he's doing so well. Congratulations on the improvements. The rest will hopefully turn around soon. Healing takes time. I believe he will turn the academic corner in time. Keep up the healthy way.
Thank you! As I am writing this he is bringing out loads of trash that came from his closet in order to take it out to the dumpster. Again I had nothing to do with this he chose to do it all on his own! I will definitely keep everyone posted on his academic progress.
Progress over perfection, great update! Hard to improve in every area all at once but sounds like he's heading in the right direction overall.
Absolutely. I think he finished cleaning our his closet this morning .
After 2 months on the diet:
Zach's behavior and compliance at home has dramatically improved
He is taking more initiative (cleaning, tech support for friends, attending social events)
He is able to get ready for school on time without issues
His academic performance has not improved yet and he is failing several classes
Positives after 2 months:
No longer gets angry about schoolwork, though not completing it
Earned "Freshman of the Month" at school, possibly for attitude improvement
Continuing the diet happily and branching out to new carnivore recipes
Yes! Thank you for the synopsis!
@@MeatingWellness By the way, your son’s carnivore experiment is the only example of the record of the impact of ketogenic diet on ADHD in youtube. Please go on, this could be important and interesting for a lot of people.
An idea could be to ask him to take a QbTest to check his baseline attention levels and then compare it to the one after 9 months of experiment. He could even be a good scientific example.
Also it’s known that ADHD kids have less iron and zinc concentration in their blood, you may ask him to have a blood test before and after carnivore diet
I realised this in my son when he was 3 (and was heavily left handed & writing his name in Mirror Image)and got intervention via diet through a Homeopathic Dr in New Zealand. The diet not only stabilised his behaviour but in cured the dreaded threesome …Asthma Eczema + Bed Wetting, that was 33 yrs ago and now it’s an epidemic.
It's amazing what a good diet can do. I remember years ago I was super skeptical about things like that. Now I know better!
Wonderful news Cristie! So proud of your son! Thank you for the update. I wish him much continued success. I will keep him in prayer that his grades improve as well.
Thank you, Rhonda! The prayers are much appreciated.
Nice sounding update :)
Thanks! I'm so excited for him and his progress.
Great news, Cristie. Baby steps. His ADHD sounds like it was extreme. Praying he'll stay on this WOE.
Yes, severe symptoms of the ADHD also combined with his sensory integration processing. It's like a double whammy for him. It's amazing to see how well he's doing though after a lifetime of struggle.
It's a fantastic change!!! Cod liver oil capsules are great for pimples. Zinc is also really good for pimples My Dad gave us kids cod liver oil capsules if we got pimples, and we had really lovely skin. (I'm going to take them when it's winter as it's really good for colds and flu).I don't think we need to demonise dairy. Let him continue to enjoy dairy. A lot of carnivores feel good with dairy. He's a good sport because I would have been mortified if my Mum spoke about me on TH-cam as a teenager! I'm sure his grades will improve over time. Healing takes time. He's doing so amazing!!! So proud of him.❤ You're a great Mum for encouraging him to try this, and for supporting him. I can't wait for another update in a few months time. He's going to have an amazing life eating like this. ❤
Swallowing pills is still a big issue for him. But I will keep that in mind and maybe someday he will progress to be able to do that.
Amazing News! 🎉
Yes, he is doing really well.
Thank you for the update
You're welcome. Thank you for watching!
Ps bear in mind the world is desperately short of Mechanics, Specialised Boilermakers, inventors, Engineers of which visual learners are fantastic at. Read Visual Thinkers by Professor Temple Grandin ❤❤
100%, but he's always been great with computers. I'm hoping he can get into something like that. Because of his sensory processing and other occupational therapy issues his dexterity is not super great with his fingers. We did a lot of OT just to get him to the low end of normal.
Maybe make a batch of Dr Kiltz keto friendly ice cream batch on the weekends.
I've tried, but the Ninja Creami I bought turns it into this weird butter stuff, LOL. I should've bought a traditional ice cream maker. Still working on finding a good icecream recipe that will work in the Creami. I made one using the Premier Prime Protein Vanilla, and it turned outu ok, but he didn't like it. I'll keep on trying!
@@MeatingWellness From what I’ve learned on the cooking channel if it churns too long it will turn ice cream to butter so maybe by cutting the churn time it should be good. Hope this helps
Awesome improvements thanks sharing.
Yes! It's been a fantastic 2 months.
Way to go, keep hanging in there.
There is another big pile of trash making its way out of his closet as I am typing this. He initiated it!
Such a great story
Thanks Jay, that means a lot. I'm so happy with his progress.
My son is 5 years old and his behaviors are exactly how you describes you son behaviors. I am starting carnivore for both of us I hope it will help I am exausted 😅
Keep me posted on how it goes, that is so exciting! I hope you see improvement.
Try iodine for acne )
Good job 👏
I've never heard that before, thanks!
