So happy for this two young men
I was vegetarian for 35 years and last 9 years raw vegan ( fruits and salads only )
I followed blindly Loren Lockman’s teachings ( i still agree with him on water only fasting)
However I was diagnosed with Colitis and always was weak and fragile
2 month ago I started with great pain in my heart and tears in my eyes I started hardcore carnivore diet and I have zero symptoms of colitis and I feel 25 again ( I am almost 50)
Dr Chaffee thank you 🙏 you are one of the people who inspired me to do this along with Dr Berry 🙏🙏🙏
I am still working on my emotional guilt because ever since I moved from Afghanistan to US at very young age I was brainwashed that being vegan will save the planet and saves animals

I tried an impossible burger about 3 months into my 4 year carnivore journey.
Worst thing I've ever eaten. My stomach was gross for 3 days, and I had the runs for equally as long. Also caused strange hives to break out on my arms.

I cannot believe that I was prescribed accutane back in 1996, and when I Took my 16 year old son to the derm, that's the first thing he recommended. In all these years, they're STILL pushing it without even thinking about food as an option. When I asked about cutting out sugar or dairy, he actually said these words: "When you come to a western medicine doc, you're going to get western medicine recommendations." Nuff said. Wish I would've known about keto/carni back in the day!

      Here’s what worked for me:
Just started eating meat, eggs and butter, and if I wanted high carb and/or plant related food I just ate more of those animal products until I didn’t want to eat anything else at all. That stopped my cravings for no-no foods altogether. Wasn’t hard at all tbh.
For smoking this was more difficult, but the longer I ate this way the more I began to feel better and better each day, eventually being able to put down tobacco and coffee because I woke up every morning with a natural buzz from nutrition + ketosis. Didn’t need stimulants to wake up or help my ADHD anymore. And achieved that sense of aliveness naturally.
Also getting closer to God is a must!
I tell people this. “You don’t have an addiction, you’re just trying to replace something missing.”
So give your body what it’s missing, only then will you stop craving unhealthy quick fixes.
      Hope that helps!

Anything they would give up would be a bonus. Bread probably would be first. Eating carnivore for a while it seems to help with other addictions. When you have been brainwashed for years and years it’s hard sometimes to get your head around it. People who question, they will find their own answers.

I constantly battle family members over this topic and telling them that they need to listen to a podcast is a huge roadblock for them. when I try to explain what I know based on knowledge from you and the others on TH-cam I always get told " you're not a nutritionist " and I should " go be a doctor then " and its just wearing me down. Hey all! I’m just starting this way of eating. I’ve always loved low carb protocols with lots of benefits. I’m starting carnivore because I have some back pain that has become a bit chronic, with some other health things that present sort of like arthritis. I’m only 41, a mom of three and one of my kids has a physical disability that requires I be able bodied. I am also a muralist and need to climb scaffolding, and stand for hours, on a regular basis. So my goal here is to become pain free. My question to the community is: Did anyone else experience sadness, headaches and nausea initially? I’m feeling really down and don’t feel great but I’d love to continue if pain-free and energy are around the corner.

How long have you been doing arnivore? I noticed that my mood improves when I switch to carnivore. I go back and forth to see what foods make me sick. Cheese and milk hurts my back a lot. Sweets give me acne. Carbs like bread, rice, and pastas make me tired and sad the next two days. Processed meats take a long time to digest and make my stomach turn for hours. Beans, nuts and too much fruit make my nerves sensitive and I feel pain all over for days. Everyone is different but hope this helps.

I am so glad I did, I can't believe how much better I am feeling now and the mental clarity is amazing!!

In other words she has no idea how to cure me! I started Carnivore diet in April. So far no solid improvement yet rashes still comes and goes randomly! I did lose a few pounds though! I noticed that when it comes to my cycle I have way less symptoms (almost no more bloating, cramps or breast tenderness) but then I have this acne...I guess I'm wondering if it'll even itself out after a while and it's just a temporary change in my hormones + my body eliminating toxins coming out from the breaking down of fat cells.

It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong, that could be other exposures, skin care treatments, moisturizers, soaps, and other things that could be influencing this. Most of them eat absolute shite, and the few who come from "health food" families eat even worse because they think health food means highly processed soy products and a bunch of dried fruit and whole grains.
In all my years of working with kids I've known hundreds of them, and I would say I've met maybe four or five who could really be called hale, hearty, healthy specimens. It typically gets worse as soon as they hit puberty too. It's really sad.
