I hear you Amber J. I am in a similar situation. I am a working professional and a married mom of 2 beautiful girls who live in a small 2 bedroom/ 1bath. My husband and I both work and we can’t afford anything better because of the cost of living in the country where I live. Just this December I had to defer sending my 1st daughter to school because it was to expensive and I had medical bills for my second daughter’s birth. But I am hopeful and determined that one day my family will do better and I watch videos like this wishing that some day when I do get a bigger house it will be just as beautiful

I feel this, I turned 31’this year and have my own apartment and live alone for the very first time in my life. Single for a year after getting out of a 8 year relationship. Building a life for myself and I’m so happy with where I am and how far I’ve come. I relate to you so much and ❤you!
You know girl, an unfortunate truth is that a majority of women who do follow the fantasy “order” of life milestones end up wishing they were in your position anyway so I think being a single mom with the ability to provide a home and life for y’all on your own is an incredible walk of life to be on. 18 years into my childless marriage and it's been so fucking awesome. We just did not want to spend our lives parenting, it seemed so simple to us, but to others...that is a different story. But that's on them, not us. We understand what we have given up, and I think if a couple can be totally honest with each other, whatever path they end up on will be the right one.

We’re all in a growing journey and unpacking and unlearning a lot, don’t let society pressure and expectations to make you believe certain things, like being pregnant and having to figure out your moving house’s situation or the nursery . A lot of parents out there actually co-sleep and it’s a very wholistic approach to raise strong and emotionally regulated kids especially in this day and age with all the tech influence around us. Yes morning routine!! I'm a fellow multiple cat owner. Have had 6 litters of kittens born just this year. Didn't know a couple of the moms were pregnant when they started coming into our yard. Had a few adult cats and tons of kittens that added up to 21 in our house at one time. It was winter and couldn't leave the babies outside. Cats know how to twist my arm - lol!!

So I know what it’s like to start not over and have this idea of how things should have been. it’s hard and scary but worth it to be whole again and start over fresh with your little one. We’re all in a growing journey and unpacking and unlearning a lot, don’t let society pressure and expectations to make you believe certain things, like being pregnant and having to figure out your moving house’s situation or the nursery . A lot of parents out there actually co-sleep and it’s a very wholistic approach to raise strong and emotionally regulated kids especially in this day and age with all the tech influence around us. You are very smart and kind so I wish for you and your son to always be healthy and happy while growing together and please don’t think that the most promoted route is always the best choice , choose for you and what serves you and him better without taking bs from anyone because trust me mothers always know better! Yes morning routine!! I'm a fellow multiple cat owner. Have had 6 litters of kittens born just this year. Didn't know a couple of the moms were pregnant when they started coming into our yard. Had a few adult cats and tons of kittens that added up to 21 in our house at one time. It was winter and couldn't leave the babies outside. Cats know how to twist my arm - lol!!
Carli, the life you have built is the life that was meant for you. Because you have constantly paid your blessings forward, you are constantly blessed. So I know what it’s like to start not over and have this idea of how things should have been. it’s hard and scary but worth it to be whole again and start over fresh with your little one. It’s a really hard pill to swallow when your life doesn’t pan out the way you expected but you just have to trust in the bigger picture. Literally NO REASON WHATSOEVER anyone should look down upon you, sweet girl. You have achieved SO SO MUCH, you built your own empire, you stood up for yourself, you did not succumb to the pressure of being with the wrong person just not to be alone, you are a splendid mother and you MADE YOUR OWN DREAMS COME TRUE. That is some role model material over there. Your son will learn from you not to depend on anyone to make him feel happy or accomplished, and honestly, that is THE BEST THING to teach your child, to be a fighter. Not everyone has the same order of events in life or even the same dreams and desires, and that is perfectly all right. Do what makes you happy, you are not hurting anyone.
