Something about Carli having a baby gives me so much joy, I feel as though I share her happiness personally.
This woman literally raised me through my teen years, and I grew up watching her videos. Everything I know about makeup/hair is from Carli and to see her evolve and progress into motherhood is so amazing!

The fact that she literally just gave birth a month ago and she’s back on her feet making videos for all of us is just mind blowing! I’m so proud of her. It’s been such a long journey with Carli. Can’t wait to see Lorenzo grow up! He’s too perfect ❤️❤️
Same, the first year is so tough, I admire moms who can even do their makeup when their kids are new borns, I always looked like a hot mess

Wow it is amazing to know how much she has changed her life in less than 10 years.
She is one of the very few who use their platform and wealth to help others. And not just sending a check, but going to other parts of the country to meet these people she helps. I admire her so much, and am so happy she has created this beautiful family for herself. She deserves all the happiness and good things, imo. Her parents did a great job raising her and of course she will be an amazing mom.

My first pregnancy everything was perfect. Got my nails & toes done, braided my hair, & did my make up on the way to the hospital in between contractions, got my epidural, went to sleep, woke up 9 hrs later & delivered perfectly. My second pregnancy my water broke in the frozen food section at Walmart & my last baby I delivered myself trying to get to the hospital 🤣🤣After all 3 I ordered Papa John’s immediately 🤣🤷🏻♀️ You are gonna be a great mama bear! All I can say is I never wanted kids & now I wouldn’t have it any other way.

@@ar3463 My 2nd was frozen foods at Walmart with EMS. I live in the country in a small town. My doctor is an hour away. My 3rd I delivered in my moms car trying to get to the hospital. I dialed 911 to tell the dispatcher I needed an ambulance & she kept saying "are u sure ur in active labor, are you sure the head is out" I would love to hear that call 😆😆😆 I was screaming "I know what is coming out of my vagina" 😭😭😭It's most def an experience I will NEVER forget. A volunteer paramedic saved my life & hers. I was bleeding too much & she wasn't breathing. My BP was 165/201. I was crying just holding her not knowing what I should do. He was so fast. He cut the cord handed her to his partner & slowed down my bleeding. He told his partner to drive & he did CPR on her for 13 min. She stayed in the hospital for a month & I stayed 2 weeks. She's a happy & healthy baby now. She was also born on my birthday. Everything about her is special. At least once a day I find myself thinking about that night & how grateful I am for that paramedic & hope one day he could meet her. Her birth certificate is another story tho 😆😆 It reads "Birth place: Highway 431 Hospital: Vehicle" 🤦🏻♀️ I hear a lot of women say they forget how labor feels and I completely disagree. My last 2 were natural & I can remember the pain like it was yesterday 😆😆

My dad passed away on April 10, 1994. As hard of a day as that is every year, I love seeing birthdays that same day, including two close friends. It’s a reminder that life is so very precious and keeps going. Happy Birthday, baby Renz! ♥️♥️♥️

My birthday is April 10th 1994 that's wild.
my grandad died 29th october almost 20 years ago, my daughter was due on 23rd october 2020 and was born on 29th october, it gave me such a warm feeling it’s like she held on knowing that would make such a painful day positive again🥰

I try to tell all my first time mom friends how overwhelming and al encompassing the love is for your child. You will realize that you never knew a love as deep as that. When you have your second, it teaches you how wide (if that makes sense) your love is. Not just deep but how much you can love. It’s hard to describe. Congrats and happy 1st Mother’s Day!

I’m glad for you guys but I chose not to have kids and I don’t feel like I miss out on any kind of love. I think women should refrain from these statements, many women either choose to or cannot have children. God bless! 💖🙏

I have a son, he's my only child. I always tell him, I will never love another like I love him. One day he asked "What if you give me brothers & sisters in the future?" I didn't know what to say lol. I guess I'll have to find out how wide my love can go for another, if I have another child lol.

Yeee thanks for sharing your birth story! It seems like people who have traumatic experiences talk about them more (maybe for support?) and people who have smooth experiences don’t want to sound like they’re bragging so they don’t share as often? It’s so comforting to hear just a chill birth story!
I like to hear all experiences, because it’s so true there’s so many things no one tells you or talks about!
Thank you for sharing a positive birth story. I feel like all I ever hear is either the horror stories, or the wild and drama filled ones. Those are the ones people always make sure to tell you. I'm 9 mos pregnant right now so it's definitely great to hear the awesome and good ones.... its VERY needed! 💜💜💜💜

It’s scary!! I was induced, it all went so fast, I kept telling them I couldn’t handle the pain anymore even tho they kept telling me it was to early for the epidural, they had to give it to me, within a couple min. I was telling them I needed to push, they didn’t believe me, checked and had to rush the doctor in because my daughter was comming already! Thankfully I got the epidural in time lol omg & I can’t imagine having to do it while wearing a mask! 😫
Omg this is literally exactly what happened to me 6 weeks ago when I gave birth to my baby boy! The pain was just awful, they checked and he was with me in 15 mins! Just crazy! 🤍
@@poppyclark5549 omg! 4 years ago, when I was giving birth to my son I had to literally shout at the nurses, cos they wouldn't call the doctor in, saying "it's your first pregnancy, this is not gonna a happen so fast", but my water broke, I felt my baby was moving so much and i had to push.
After the nurse finally checked my dialation, she called the doctor in with a panic, cos I was literally giving a birth, no time for epidural, no time to check with ultrasound which they brought in.

So happy for you! Being a mom is the best! 🥰 I remember when my son was sleeping I couldn’t wait for him to wake up because I missed him so much. Also, when my husband & I finally had a date night all we could do was talk about him & couldn’t wait to get home to see him. 😍
Ugh, the Carli palette! 😩 I wish it’d come back. I used that palette for my wedding and then dropped it a few weeks later. So much shattered that I couldn’t save it. Such an amazing palette!

My hospital didn’t let me film either , but my mom said nobody tells her what to do and she recorded. I love being able to go back and watch it.

My son had CDH, I had about 30+ nurses and doctors In my delivery room ready for him. The second he was born he was intubated and put on life support. It’s not a delivery I wish on anyone, I’m so happy you had a beautiful one! Your dad was your guardian Angel looking out for you! I’m happy to say my son is doing well. 4 months in the NICU, I wouldn’t wish my birth Story on anyone. Happy Mother’s Day to you Carli, and all the Mamas out there! It’s a hard but rewarding job!! 💖💖

Yes there are a lot of things that no one tells you about! I hated when the nurse would come in and have to massage and push on my stomach “uterus” to make sure I didn’t get any blood clots. It’s definitely worth it! ❤️
i remember having to do that during nursing school, and it would literally hurt ME inside at the same time! i felt so bad! i was glad when that unit was over.

I just had my baby 2 months ago! On March 17th I delivered at shore memorial in jersey! And I my experience was so amazing I was lucky enough to have a smooth delivery and was able to experience something so magical! Being a mother is a different type of love and we are so blessed to be able to celebrate the life of our new baby boys 💙💙 congrats carli your gonna be an amazing mommy!! And happy Mother’s Day! ♥️
My husband held one of my legs as I was pushing because the epidural knocked my legs out! But epidural is heaven sent lol. NYC hospitals says you can’t film either but while the baby came out my husband filmed it anyways. It’s precious and I wish I would’ve done it with my first! Congratulations mama!
I’ve never hear of giving Pitocin after labor & I had 3 labors. You’re uterus takes less than an hour to shrink.
They usually give it to you before so they speed up the labor.
Overall I’m glad you had a good labor. I love the name of your baby. I wanted to name my son but my husband kept changing his mind on names.

YES! I think you are so right about no one telling you how physically bad you will feel the first night or two! Especially after your first birth, the second delivery and recovery was soo much easier. :)

I recently gave birth as well on March 27th. I completely agree with you when you said that the postpartum part of pregnancy is not spoken about enough. I had no idea that I would be bleeding for 3-4weeks.

My hospital didn’t give me that Pitocin. Once the placenta was out; They cleaned up, Made sure no tears or anything, and then made me get up and go to the bathroom. lol. And then moved me to my resting room.

I packed 3 small bags when I gave birth April 17. I did not open any of them once. I only used a phone charger and ate snacks that I brought! The hospital had everything. I wish I brought my boppy pillow to help breastfeed cause the skinny low quality hospital pillows didnt cut it! Stay hydrated and WALK everyday and your birth will go quicker, good luck and congrats!
I have 2 bags packed in both cars just in case and one as a home backup so if the other car bags aren’t accessible lol
Generally I have pjs that are comfy and slip over my head, plenty of comfy socks, slippers, jacket or robe, hoodie for more insulation cause I get cold. Tooth brush, deodorant, perfume, hair brush, clips and some scrunchies, I took body wash just in case I’m able to shower before leaving. Heating pad, and I took a travel pillow the neck one and I bought a donut looking one so for the car ride home because you’ll feel every bump along the way lol. There was more stuff but I forgot lol
