Hey I Know Nobody can be like them. Alll You can do is be your. Self. But I zLove them too.. Never met them in my Life. But it would have been Great. Rest In Peace Johnny and June Cater Cash. I Know in my heart they made it there. Thanks Ya’ll.
Wow how weirdly kool! This video was put out on the day my 13 year old Rot/Wolf mix passed away in my arms! And I just watched the video about these two famous icons of country music!😥😥♥♥🌹🌹
Thank you so much for the video. And especially for focusing in on the historical markers. Easy to pause and read them. I learned a lot that I never knew. I'm a 48-year-old trucker, and I remember the day in 2003 when I heard on the radio that Johnny Cash had died. My heart broke that day. God bless y'all, and thanks so much again for doing this. Very insightful. If I ever retire, I'd love to visit Hendersonville.
Thank you for the video. My son lived in Hendersonville for a while and I visited him several years ago maybe 6 yrs and he lived down that main road off from the cemetary and I visited the Johnny Cash memorial because my dad was a huge fan. He would play their music on an 8 track in the way early 70s. My dad passed in 1987 and thought it was poignant to visit Cash's memorial on behalf of my dad. I found this cemetary so peaceful. I can't explain it. I've visited my relatives in other cemetarys but this one has a different feel to it. I sat on the bench and thought about my father and how much he admired Johnny Cash.
I remember cruising the lake in my parents houseboat. We always got excited when we waved and he/they waved back. Of course with me being young, I would tell everyone Johnny Cash and his wife waved at me. He left the world with music for everyone. That’s a gift that will last forever. All of those legends are in a circle singing loud now. RIP
I really loved this. Johnny was my favourite now and forever. I still get a lump in my throat when I listen to his songs. Thanks for the tour, Toronto , Ontario Canada fan of Johnny.
That was nice, I enjoyed it. I remember my aunt being on a tour back in the 60's and the bus stopped at Johnny Cash's home and sure enough, he and June both came out and said hello to everyone. She had the pictures to prove it ! How many artists in any genres of music do that ? Few and far between for sure and that's just one example of the love and kindness that was in their hearts.
Johnny and June along with George jones Tammy wynette Loretta Lynn Dolly parton Connie and Marty All respected their fans because they would say we thank you the fans because with out you there be no us Rip to those that have passed.
My name is David Keith. I am 55yrs. Old. My daddy was from Nashville Tennessee. When I a little boy, I use to love listening to johnny Cash and use love to imitate Johnny cash by turning around to everyone and say "hello, my name is Johnny cash" I wasn't shy. I would go around all day long doing it until I would get on everyone's last nerve.
I visit John and Junes grave once a month there is nothing more humbling than standing in the presence of greatness. I have pics of that entire area wonderful video. love from Memphis Tn.
Thank you so much for this video. I drove by the cemetery one time a couple years after Johnny & June passed as we were visiting family in Whitehouse. I have been a huge Johnny Cash fan since childhood, and I instilled the love of his music in my children. So much so that I now have a grandson named Cash. Thank you again for sharing.
I visited the House of Cash twice when it was open. The first time after visiting the tour bus driver told us Johnnie Cash's mother worked there. The second time, I drove my mother there and of course she went in and visited with Mrs. Cash. On the tour, we also saw John and June's house in all it's glory. Many Country performers live or lived in that area.
Thank you for acknowledging Joe & Dale Maphis. Miss Rose Lee has now joined them. It was Johnny who wanted Joe and the family nearby for they were dear friends. Thank you for the tour. It makes my heart happy from CA.
Thank you for the veto they were just every day people like all of us liked to live like us and were good musicians and singers we have visited Nashville many times and attended the open took the tours and went to lots of shows
Joan, thank you for sharing your experience and story! I’m friends with their son Jody even though I haven’t seen him in many years. He is also a fine musician. Again, thanks so much!💙

Wow interesting video Thankyou ,,,, also funny enough bee gees were and still are one of my favourite groups. Barry has a home in England very near to me now in beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire. Plus I used to go to school with Andy for a while when is was about 8/9 in junior school. When they came back to England. JONNY CASH has such a terrific voice , so lovely we are left with all his tunes , walk the line being one of my favourites.
i loved johny and june and their kids, great voices, miss them, i grew up w/ their kinda music, thank you so much i would have never gotten to see all that beauty
Outstanding video. I had just commented on a beautiful photograph of Johnny and June yesterday.. I listened to their music growing up and enjoyed then and enjoy it now. I am 73. They are a perfect couple. Two Godsends Treasures. We have to thank God for letting us meet them. And we than their family for sharing them with the world. Absolutely beautiful graves; well earned and well deserved. Thank you Johnny and June for entertaining us with the unmatched talent.that God Blessed the both of you with. You both are well loved. Your enduring music will be enjoyed by many generations. Thank you to the two wonderful people that created this video to share with us. Love you Mr and Mrs Cash along as the grass grow green. Continue resting in peace
I was a young boy of 12 years old when my Dad, Mom, and myself went to Nashville to see the taping of the Johnny Cash TV show and we found and took pictures of the Cash home....wonderful memories!!
We loved Johnny and June Cash and I volunteerly sing & play piano in our local nursing homes to entertain the residents and always play I walk the Line and Fulsome Prison Blues, etc. Thank you so MUCH for sharing this video! Blessings!
I just played piano tonight and one of Johnny Cash's awesome songs I did tonight was 'Ghost Riders in the Sky'. The residents loved it! Nothing beats the gratitude on their faces and in appreciation for the entertainment and keeping Johnny's music alive! 🎶 ✝️
Thank you for sharing this video. Cash was the only country star that I loved . I can't remember how young I was when I heard him .mom and Dad said I would hear cash on the radio and I would start singing and dancing to his songs. Thank you again friends for sharing this I wished I could have met him .
Thank you very much for this tour. I wish there were statues of all these great artists beside them. Mother Maybelle and her guitar deserved a big one, Johnny and June too. What Beautiful flowers!
I really enjoyed you both to taking the time to show us the final resting place and the stories of people that had such a positive impact on so many people.
TOTALLY ENJOYED THE TOUR...THERE'S PLENTY OF FANS THAT WOULD NEVER HAVE A CHANCE TO DO THIS....I BELIEVE THAT WE ARE SAYING ....WE MISS YOU AND JUST WANT TO KEEP IN TOUCH...
I really enjoyed this...I grew up listening to John Cash...I have it on my bucket list to go and tour Johnny's childhood home in Deyce, AR...saw it at Walmart one time The Carter-Cash Family cookbook their son had done up, and I bought it...I plan also going to the Cafe in Nashville, TN...really enjoyed this thank you...
I really like the video, never new so many singers were buried together how nice, it was a beautiful place. Also liked knowing about all the other singers living out there close together, sure learned a lot from the video tour, lived in Florida all my life and was glad to see some real country side, thanks so much John gage
How ironic I was just watching Jonny Cash and the outlaws singing Ghost riders in the sky and your video popped up next ? Thanks for the tour wonderful ...and God bless to you all from the UK ❤️
This is such a wonderful video , enjoying the stories along the way and reading the plaque dedications ......Beautiful Johnny & June May they Rest in Heavenly Peace .
Lived in Hendersonville in 1990 to 1993..many boat trips on Old Hickory lake showing visitors the Cash house etc. Twitty city was still operating at the time. Great memories..thanks for sharing
Thank you. Visited the US and Nashville a few years ago in 2018. Got to the Hall of Fame and Johnny Cash museum but not to the areas you showed here. Thank you so much and I will certainly be back again once borders are open. Thank you from Australia!
I had visited the homes of Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash back in 1972. It was great seeming how the homes and property had changed since that time. Thank you for posting. It was great to see it again.
Thank you so much for this video. The area has grown up from the 70s. A high school class mate had a brother work for Johnny and this a very rural area and few houses near. I have been gone from the area for many years. My mother was the OB floor charge nurse when their son was born at Madison Hospital. I worked at the hospital for a short time when I returned from Vietnam and Johnny would come to hospital and say hello and ask of my father for he had a heart attack. A great person not just because of his music but his nature.
Every summer my dad would drive me and my sister Pam to go and stay with my grandma at 400 Hadley Ave in Old Hickory. We had so many memories of Old Hickory Lake with all of our cousins.
This is fantastic. My mom actually grew in Madison TN and went to school with June's daughter Rosie (not to be confused with Rosanne Cash, who most know is Johnny's daughter). Rosie was about 9 when Johnny & June wed. After they moved to Hendersonville, she and my mom remained friends for a few years. Mom has mentioned to me she went to a birthday party at this house. June was of course there but Johnny was on the road at that time. She even stayed over once for a sleepover one time and they had a housekeeper who watched them while Johnny & June were both away. Taking advantage of that opportunity they even snuck into Johnny & June's bedroom and tried on June's dresses. Next time I am in Nashville, I think I'll suggest to my mom that we go on a drive and revisit this site. I also want to note just how amazing it is that Marty Stuart restored that Orchard and kept the wishes of Roy Orbison. What a guy. Mom also mentioned that she recalls looking outside of Johnny & June's place and seeing the side of Roy Orbison's home. I am not sure if it was the original home or the rebuilt one - this would have probably been around 1968 if I had to guess.
thank you for sharing! some of us may never make it to see these things in person, so its nice that u share this. not morbid at all. i treasure being able to go to the resting places of those i love and remember. i think its uber important to do so time to time and remember our roots.. thank you and god bless!
As a big fan of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, I loved your video. I'm was born and raised in South Carolina.Yep, still here. I have a FB friend named Madde that lives in Sweden and she loved them too. We used to write each other alot and we'd talk about visiting the Cash house. We knew we'd never get there because Madde couldn't come to the states but we'd dream about it. We were both brokenhearted when it burned down but ya know, maybe it was somehow God's plan. I was raised on Johnny Cash music. My daddy met him many times and loved him too. My daddy had to be one of his biggest fans.My daddy was a self taught guitar player and played local places with his band and had his own radio show awhile. He could sing just like Johnny .Only I spoke at my daddy's funeral in 2006 then I told them all I wanted to listen to Johnny Cash one more time with my daddy.. I played" Were You There When They .Crucified My Lord" Thank you both so much for making my night. God Bless you
Awww thanks. This was super cool to watch. I felt like I was touring these incredible icons with my grandparents. I say this with the most humble respect.
When you live on the other side of the world in Christchurch New Zealand, the Southern Hemisphere is a long way`s away. I used to live in Burnsville North Carolina, i visited Tennessee a few times but not this neck of the woods, so it was great getting to see all you showed. Thankyou
Hi guys just came across your video ,what a beautiful video so intresting to see all the great souls who have passed ,and to see all the houses of the ones who gave us all the great music i got chills when i saw Johnny cash and Roy Orbison where they use to live ,and i Dare say there souls are still walking around there beautiful grounds ,thankyou for shareing and taking us along with you luv susan from across the pond over in great Britain xx

@@TMeAdventures Absolutely. I think there is a kindred spirit among those of us who truly appreciate the music & the history of this era in music.

God Bless you
Aw, what a wonderful story Janet! Thank you for sharing. We really appreciate you watching and commenting! Again, Thank you!

Loved the video as I’m from Dyess Arkansas where Johnny and the Cash Family lived. Brother Jack actually died as a result of an injury at the Schools Agri building. I’m sharing the video with family and friends. Johnny’s childhood home has been restored and is in Dyess also!

Neat..to see where people you listened to your entire life wound up. It reminds us how fragile life is and when you leave nothing goes with you..
Olive, thank you so much for watching and commenting!
My uncle Tim and his buddies built that house. He and my grandparents owned Hearthstone Lumber Company out of Newport TN back in the day.

Good memories. Mom and Dad worked for WSM Tours. Johnny Cash invited them to the house. His mom thought a lot of my parents and gave my mom a hand made necklace she had made. A must tourist stop was souvenir The House of Cash in Hendersonville.
