Agreed. He was so polite, while also keeping the audience entertained. King of late night. Dave was funny to a point, but also too crude and arrogant. Jay Leno would be second best, imo. Conan is hilarious, but just didn't have what Johnny had in being an entertainer, interviewer, and host. Jimmy Fallon is great at skits, but just not the best host compared to the King or Jay Leno. I didn't like all the fighting and bittnerness between the hosts after Johnny. Dave's bitterness towards Leno, then Conan's bitterness really surprised me as he already had the opportunity of a lifetime that made him a mulitmillionaire.

Johnny Cash has ALWAYS been my favorite Country singer of all time, but, after watching this Johnny Carson interview, I fell in love with June Carter-Cash as well. She's one of the sweetest and most down-to-earth people that there ever was. Johnny and June loved each other so deeply and passionately. I'm getting teared up just thinking about their life together, the ups and downs, the beautiful children they made together, and the wonderful music they gifted us all with. The love Johnny had for June was shown through when he passed away only a few months after June herself passed away, he was so heartbroken that he couldn't live without her. Roseanne Cash, Jonny's daughter, reminds me so much of her father. She is very gifted and talented in her own right, and beautiful as all get out lol. Johnny's love for our country was so palpable that you can feel it instantly in all his music. The All Mighty God was Johnny's first and foremost love. I pray that John and June will be together forever in God's kingdom 🙏.

Inside Danzig's album, Lucifuge, shows Glenn Danzig wearing the cross of Jesus Christ - upside down - with a demon's head in the middle of the cross. Boldly written at the top is part of John 8:44 "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do." Glenn Danzig is a hard-core Satanist. To show his utter hatred for Jesus Christ, one of his songs is titled "Snakes of Christ." Now you want to hear the unbelievable? Not only did Johnny Cash record a song on American label produced by Rick Rubin - but on the album he sings a song written by Satanist Glenn Danzig! The name of the song? You guessed it - Thirteen!
Here's what Johnny says about this album:
"This is what I've always wanted to do, and I was able to do it with Rick. I think I'm more proud of it than anything I've ever done in my life. I don't think I ever worked so well with a producer in my entire career."

Amen. ..could not have said it better. I'm so grateful l lived during this drama of Johnny and June Carter cash, Johnny Carson, and Elvis, they were all legends in their own time, loved by all saw them and experienced their great country music. I used to sit up late at night with my mom watching Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show. He was always a class act. Actually saw Elvis twice in concert in Atlanta, once in 73 and once in 74. So glad l did cause he died just 3 years later, which was such a shock to me cause when l saw him in concert, he didn't look to have an ounce of fat on him, unlike when he died he was very bloated and looking fat.
I will always love you Elvis, Johnny Carson, June and Johnny Cash!
      May you always R.l.P.

Piano player in Johnny Cash's band looks like Elton John lol. I'm not a big country music fan, but whenever I see and/or hear Johnny and June sing "Jackson" I just melt and get shivers up and down my spine...I miss those two. I wish they would have down way more duets together. And June just being herself can cracked me up in a nice way, she was the real deal...

Every time I see Johnny Cash I am reminded again of why he became a legend. I have been a fan since he released "Cry, Cry, Cry" back in the mid-50's but since I have been able to see so many of the videos of him on YT I gain more and more respect and admiration for him. I laughed when I listened to "Boy Named Sue" and I cried when I listened to "Hurt". I loved hearing him sing "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down" and "Here Comes that Rainbow Again." There will never be another Johnny Cash. RIP, Johnny!

Maybe, maybe not. His first marriage of 13 yrs ended soon after a hate filled news article reported his wife was black. It was vehemently denied at the time, though, it was recently admitted that she was of mixed race. There's a documentary about his first marriage on Amazon. Also, his first wife published a book of love letters they wrote to each other while he was in the Air Force for 3 years. They married soon after his return and went on to have 4 daughters. He wrote the song I Walk the Line for her.

@@glen7318 Don't fool yourself, race is still an issue and was a huge issue in the 60s when this happened. It's not a coincidence they separated the year this happened. I'm just allowing that could have been part of the reason. No one knows for sure. I don't believe everything the media feeds me...especially in the Entertainment industry. Even Cash's daughters called the June and Johnny love story mythic in that documentary.
