When I die I will be cremated, and scattered.I don’t wanna be dug up.
“Look at his felty face” and “the pope’s henchmen”😂
2:40 I've actually seen the real derringer. It's in the basement museum of the refurbished ford theater.
I've been to Ford's numerous times already. It's crazy how something small can end Lincoln's life.
That felty face thing made me laugh a lot harder than I needed to, thank you
Funeral, bodies, anything about death fascinates me... IDK Why... My dream job would be to work in a funeral home!!! The videos you do like this are my favorite!!!
Come to the Grammy Museum in Cleveland,MS. There is also the famous BB King Museum in Indianola,MS 30 minutes away.
I live in Cleveland, MS and I don’t think people appreciate that museum so much
Oddly , death is an interesting subject.I am in love with the Japanese Hearse 😅😅🥰I almost imagined the yakuza in one of those 😅.I have a strange interest in cemeteries and the Victorian mourning pieces 👻😅☺️.. Thank u for the feature on such an interesting museum, not very mainstream but I ❤️it !
I would actually love to visit there.
I've lived in houston for 22 years and never knew this existed.
I believe I've been by this place and it's actually in humble, texas
They try to keep the information BURIED. hehe
Well Texans we're never to bright, no worries.
@@supportyourtroopsathletes6460 eh its more like I dont have an interest in Funerals and don't travel enough to care, there's a difference between intelligence and knowing a museum exists in a very specific place.
@@ahalfsesameseedbun7472 from what I can tell Texans do not even care about each other, nothing new you are saying anyhow. No shocker to me personally.
Found your video surprising to say the least. Enjoyed hearing what traditions were observed. Thank you for putting so much time into researching before making videos. Please keep them coming.
very respectful of you to speak quietly and respectfully at this museum hah
the reason why they had a pack of cigarettes at robert hegyes funeral was because he smoked only marlboro black menthol
15:09- Oohhh yeeeessss! I love The Undertaker and still is one of my favorite wrestlers. Its rather fitting Paul would have a display at this museum even including one of the incarnations of the iconic urn.
The WWE has been looking for memorabilia from the past--including one certain urn linked to the Undertaker. I don't recall the specifics....seems there were several used but one has yet to be found.
I love the undertaker too the urn has not been found
I like your way of presenting this. Natural and professional. I enjoyed watching this very interesting video.
First time I've seen your site. The museum looks fascinating. I was a florist for 15 years and one of my great grand fathers was a funeral director in Jersey City, NJ. If I am ever able to get to Houston, this would be @ the top of my must see list. I've always found mortuary history very interesting. Great post.
👍👍
I have live here in houston pretty much my whole life and have yet gone to this museum which is only like 30 minutes away. I keep putting it off
"Henchmen of the pope" 😂
Love it!
I went to the museum on my birthday about 7 years ago...interesting!
Thank you. I live in Houston and regularly visit the Funeral Museum. Watching this during quarantine, and it’s nice to feel like I get to visit still.
Wow! Thank You for this video, l live in Arlington, next time we go to Galveston we are going to go check this out! God Bless You!
What a cool place to visit, those hearses and caskets are amazing!
I know it’s hard to choose a favorite
Remember that episode of South Park when Kenny died and was cremated? Cartman thought that the urn was a container for chocolate milk mix. He drank it in his milk, and got haunted by the ghost of Kenny.
Your channel is so underrated man! Keep up the good work watching your videos always makes me want to get out there and see new things! Awesome awesome job brother!
I was the sculptor for a company in St Petersburg FL that made a full scale working replica of Lincoln's funeral carriage. I recreated the ornamentation on the sides. That was cool to see in this video.
Great video. Fascinating stuff. I actually met George Barris at his shop in Burbank.
“.....cupcakes for Ronald Reagan - of course he was deceased at the time” - he is still deceased!
I thought he was still riding his horse with the secret service. Virginia, don't tell me bad news that I do not believe. That's wrong of you.
In the words of the immortal (but late) presidential candidate Patrick Leighton Paulson, "Picky, picky, picky."
I'm so glad I was recommended this. I love it,
I’ve lived in Houston my entire life and not once have I ever heard of this museum and now that I know it’s here I have to search... I need to go as soon as possible and I need to do more research on places here...

The Mexican funeral with the old lady I totally thought that it was moving a little bit
Good morning got to love a carpet bagger video in the morning
The victorian mourning house is just breathtaking.
During my last two years in high school I worked for our local funeral home.. Fascinating place, for sure. I heard about this museum about 3 years ago and have been dying to visit ever since.
CB I love it, I need to see this but stuck at home in England so this is the next best thing. Thanks CarpetBagger you Rock.
How interesting, im an Undertaker in England UK, theres nothing like that here sadly, the English would call this weird and would not visit it, i think its fascinating, shame its too far away for a day out for me thanks for posting it, my hero was pictured on the wall Buddy Holly. R.I.P
