Hi mom! 🙋♂️ No it’s only wide angle! You can choose the “narrow” field of view but that’s functionally the same as cropping it in so you’ll lose resolution.

This is just a mini GoPro guy can you actually pinpoint some new shit? Osmo pocket was actually that when it first came out.

Thanks Jesse! I have the first 360 go, and I always had 2 problems. I could never tell 100% if I was recording or not! And, the case connecting to my iPhone connection was absolutely unusable! This is awesome!

9:10 I did notice some jello on the drone footage. Is that a mount or tuning thing or was that the stabilization?
Not sure yet! It could be a number of things including beta firmware on the camera and beta software on the computer. Time will tell!

If you ever get a chance to throw a set of goggles on while an experienced pilot flies you’ve gotta try it! It’s other worldly, I’ve gotta learn to fly.

Yes it does! And it’s surprisingly good. I forgot to mention this in the video. The moment when I take the go off of my hat and give it to Christoph in the forest, that audio is actually from the go and not from my C 70. It just sounded better than the mic on my camera.
Hey @jessedriftwood, amazing video as always and super tempted to buy! Can you comment on a couple of things I noticed from the footage: 1) There seems to be some slight centre “breathing” in the encoding - is this auto white balance adjustment kicking in? and 2) I’m not sure if it’s a problem at source or a re-encoding issue, but I’m sensitive to frame rate discrepancies and I notice the footage isn’t completely smooth temporally? Is that solvable?
1) honestly I’m not entirely sure! can you point me somewhere specific in the video so I can try to better see it?
2) adding ND filters helps, but also slows down the workflow a bit. I have the ND filters now but need to test them out still

That’s a cool idea! I forgot to mention but the built in audio is surprisingly useable! I actually used it instead of my C70 and deity mic audio for some clips !

I’ve seen like 7 different reviews of this lil camera so far and NONE has mentioned the fact that this is one of the few CROPLESS camera in the market, hence it can do all these nice tricks.

I’ve only really flown in a simulator (which is still very fun!). I want to learn properly but crashing is part of the hobby, which can get expensive.

Holy crap! I can't believe he flew beind that waterfall (9:24). Now that was some great FPV flying! I have the original Insta360 GO (vs1). Just wasn't to impressed with it ...esp. when it came to FPV flying (which is why I got it). The flight times were only a few minutes (3-4min. ) and that was after a future firmware update. The longer flight times def. make the version 2 a more likely option for FPV. So....hope some of that FPV flying is rubbing off on you Jesse? Maybe we'll see you do some flying as well?
I’ve always wanted to get into it! Been flying micro drones for years and have played in the simulator but never dove in!
When you fill up the internal memory (32 GB) which is approx 30 min in 1440p, you transfer files to mobile phone as with GO v1 or you can connect to PC with USB-C and transfer directly to computer?
Yup I wasn’t just plugging in the USB-c cable to my computer and offloading that way.

It's possible for sure! But I don't know that style of filming well enough to suggest if this would be good for it or not. I'm making a follow up video about this camera right now, should be online tonight.
