If you took this in a pool with the case not being waterproof would you not keep hitting the record on / off when holding the littler camera and in turn not know if it’s recording or not
Sad thing is the storage , if use it to record for few hours , the storage might filled up and we'll need to download to the phone and clear the storage on Go2 , that's the thing that makes me still consider to get this or not :(
Outstanding, Aldryn. The GO 2 sure has a lot of updates, and its new design is awesome. Talk about almost not even be able to see the camera. I really like the hat mount so it can give a real eye view perspective. Nicely done, and I sure hope they take your ideas into the next version. Thanks.
That’s 30 minutes continuous use, then you’d have to put it back in its case to recharge for a while. I typically do 5minute clips, so between clips it’s in the case recharging. The memory will fill up before the battery runs out anyway.

What is the bitrate when record in FPV mode? Can you rotate the video in the app before export, that was not possible with the Go1. And do you know if the size is the same as the Go1 or do I need a new mount on my fpv drone?

I was looking into buying this but ended up with an Osmo Action, an Orca, and a load of accessories for the same amount of money! I don't see how the price is justified...

Great video. Your memory expansion was in your pocket. This is designed to think differently, like shooting 360. If shooting long, offload the onboard to your cell, it doesn't the long at all
Nice video Aldryn! I like that small camera. I often upscale the 1440p footage to 4k with Topaz video enhance ai. A lot of people think that i have used a dslr for my shots. The upscaled videos look great and detailed.

Regarding the storage, I still have the question about where the actual storage is, if it's stored in the Go2 itself (I'd guess this is what it is) or if it's in the case (since it has wireless communication with the camera), so about the storage expansion, I was thinking that it might be possible to add a micro SD slot in the case, rather than in the camera itself, so when you're done recording with just the Go2 it can be transferred to the microSD in the case and free some storage in the camera itself to be able to record more footage before having to transfer it to your phone/computer

Be careful with those DJI goggles laying with the faceplate up! If the sun gets in the lens at the wrong angle you can burn the screens and damage it permanently
I love my GoPro and Osmo action to capture kids at amusement parks and catching their reaction on rides. This is a plus as smaller in size. I hope magnets are strong enough to withstand rides.
Don't they mean Insta 180 Go? It doesn't shoot 360 and you can't see your framing unless you use the app and your phone, at which point you might as well shoot with your phone - which probably has 4k.
That looks like a nice bit of kit. Very convenient to carry around versus other setups. Would probably make a decent trade off for the active videographer or vlogger. Thanks for binging videos like this to us Aldryn. Very well done!!

Good quality video, small size, no fragile display in exposed positions: i'm really glad that action cameras are starting to go back from vlogging devices to... well, actual action cameras!
While it will not be a instant buy for me, since I have a Osmo Action, and limited funds.. :) I do however REALLY like that magnetic chest mount.. Boy do I hate those regular harnesses.. This completely makes me WANT to have a camera on my chest for recording while I fly drones, go out with my kids etc.. Nice review as always Aldryn!

Specifications of the insta360 go2 is 32GB. But in fact my insta360 go2 is only 28GB. So your insta360 go2 internal memory is how much GB?
