Ichigo: Half shinigami, half Quincy, half hollow And yet the final fight somehow isn't the hypest in the entire series with him using everything at his disposal.
Kubo and Shonen Jump, the most awful tag team in history, you have shonen jump that restricted him nonstop and kept rushing him, then you have kubo that never knew the actual time he had so he got fucked over so many times bleh...
Kubo just wanted to draw cool things, but Shonen Jump wanted a longer running story. I mean Toriyama's editor for DBZ was the entire reason we ending up getting Cell. Kubo just doesn't have what it takes to make a good manga.
you've got it backward...see the editor of DBZ was actually competent, Shonen Jump wasn't, Kubo already had a very long running story in mind, shonen jump rushed him because it was too long, not the opposite, for instance, remember how karin wanted to help so much in the fullbring arc? he wanted to make her a shinigami, but guess what happened? shonen jump rushed him and he couldn't deliver on that. One of many example.
I agree that Kubo had at least a fairly broad outline of the entire series from the start (minus the Fullbrings I would say). The major arcs, the major twists were there. The problem seemed to be the climaxes of each part. Every single arc ended with a dozen random fights (mostly 1v1). The overall story screeches to a grinding halt for the fights. It only really worked in the Soul Society arc because the fighters had past history to explore to make it more interesting. The other arcs.. didn't have that.
PissedGrunty I'd say he had a pretty good idea for the fullbring, if you noticed, the first arc was about rukia, the soul society arc, then into huecto mundo which was the orihime arc, then into fullbring which is chad's arc and then into the thousand years blood war, which is ishida's, honestly it felt like he had a good idea for each characters, Chad got SHAFTED hardcore arc wise however that's mainly cuz jump fucking sucks. Kubo clearly had an idea with what he was doing with it but couldn't finish it. It's honestly a fucking shame because holy shit that arc could of been amazing, could you imagine if Karin would of become a shinigami and Yuzu a Quincy that would of trained hard enough to be potentially able to take on a sternritter or 2 in the final arc? could of been fairly interesting to be honest but NOPE. Tbh every arc's climaxes weren't so bad tho I'll admit FKT was sorta hehhh at best between ukitake getting one shotted by wunderweiss and shunsui killing the number 1 espada barely using his shikai which while making him a badass really didn't make him out to be that strong.
Chad's whole existence feels like a waste. I hate to say it but I only remember him getting his ass kicked. Never exploring Ururu's potential was a missed opportunity too.
BlackWingedSeraph both him and Inoue made no sense anyways. "Well...they're just humans. Let's give them random powers because they are friends of MC and we want them to stick around. But oh well. They still human so they trash." Like...couldn't Ichigo just make new friends with relevant characters in the show? Why did they have to make it so that he's friends with two Duds that have to be forced into the story somehow just because
So you have - a calligrapher (the zen of samurai) - a blacksmith (the weapon/soul of a samurai) - a weaver (the symbol of status and honor of a samurai) - a tea maker (the symbol tranquility of a samurai) - a sauna (the harmony of nature and samurai) The concept is magnificent.. the execution was disappointing.
I can name some things left me dissapointed: 1. No 1000-year war flashback 2. The rushed ending 3. Not seeing what Ichigo's new bankai was truly capable of. 4. Not seeing Aizen interact with Momo and Shinji one last time. 5. Not making Harribel and her fraccion reappear again in the war. :/ 6. Nell not having a fight with a Sternritter. 7. Kira, Kensei and Rose should have stayed dead. 8. Isshin and Ryuken not taking enough action in the war. 9. Not seeing Hisagi´s bankai or having a proper fight. 10. No resolution for Squad Zero Etc. Despite the many flaws that it had and the ones that I've mentioned, I still like the final arc of the Bleach series, I just wished that it hadn´t ended the way it did because MAN it had sooo much wasted opportunities.... :(
Ik this is an old comment but I totally agree. I remember being SO hyped for the final fights to come, to see everybody go all out, the chair-chad aizen come back and go in, ichigo struggle and finally use his full power, but then it just kinda... ended. Nothing got really resolved in a satisfying way, and it was just kinda done with all that hype left in disappointment. I’m hoping that if the recent rumors are true and bleach is actually getting an anime renewal that kubo can help them at least expand on the final battle a bit. Love the series to pieces so if it could come back on anime form and fix some of the problems it had pacing wise and resolution wise I’d be so pumped
The most disappointing thing was not getting the "Turn Back The Pendulum Arc part. 2 staring Genryusai Yamamoto and the original gotei 13 vs. the Quincies
Donavaile Miller that's is true and learning history about it would've been more better as whole . and zero squad should've,been important to the war then what they were: given what they accomplish it embarrassing how they were defeated .major disappointment as well soul king
We don't need to see that. Remeber, before it was retconned to say that the Quincy's were invading Soul Society, it was originally the Shinigami straight up genociding the Quincy's; that "war" was a one-sided slaughter. What we really need to see is what happened with Ginjou: how did he become the first substitute shinigami, what's his relation to Fullbringers, were there other fullbringers besides these, how did the Soul Society betray him? I still say it would have been the perfect ending to show the difference between how crappy the Gotei 13 treated Ginjou before, and how much Ichigo has changed them now for the better.
Yeah the zero squad could've been covered there. I mean ichibe, sentumaru, nimaya - they were there for sure. You know what? Maybe the zero squad coul show show their powers in the flashback arcs, 1000 years before, we see what tey are about. If we had that then the off screening would feel a lot less worse
Biggest disappointment: Seeing ichigo lose his power and regain it over and over only to have the final battle be "I'm strong" "No you aint" "Ok" "See?" "Ok, this time you go down in one hit" "No I wo- Oh... okay I guess I do". It was just bullshit.
It was the biggest disappointment for me. The entirety of Bleach. Barriers broken. His true power is finally released. Both sides of himself together as one. Aaaaaaaaaand its broken.
Those 10 or so chapters where mayuri fought pernida should definitely have gone to some other characters instead. And Ichigo and his bankai is one of them.
you know what was one of the most disappointing thing in bleach? the soul king himself. He was built up so much ever since aizen was introduced and we basically got maybe 5 panels with him. It was the ultimate goal of aizen and we don't really find out much about it. Hell,, i don;t even remember why the limbs of the soul king were with juha bach. I don't think kubo explained that.
goldmemberpb good point. too much shit happened off screen and too many explanations that we need. if i want anything more to happen in my lifetime itll be bleach anime returning w/filler for what wasn't explained or at least cover what kubo didn't get to write
will whittmon currently I am trying to write a fanfic where most of the plot holes will be explained. :P like "why the limbs of the soul king were with juha" :)
The biggest disappointment for me was not revealing the background and relations between the Soul King and Juha Bach. We know almost nothing about the Soul King.
With the bleach anime being re announced, this would be the only time I wouldn’t mind filler, we need to see more than we got with the zero division in the manga.
It wouldn't necessarily be filler cuz it's more important to the story. In my opinion I think the thousand year blood war should be made into an ova series Kind of how they did mobile suit gundam have each episode be 40 minutes that way we have more fleshed out plot and episodes
Wait a sec. The zero squad was supposed to be stronger than the Gotei combined, but were defeated by the SS. Then the Gotei, not even the whole Gotei, defeats the SS. Logic at its finest right?
Ahhh mate... When Ywah went into portal to Seretei for the final battle, he gathered SS powers into himself, that made Gerard, Lile and Hahshwald (or whatever his damn german name is) disappear. So shinigamis didnt kill them really.
Maybe you watched bleach at that moment. Google track your browsing history. So, when you watch bleach on other site, they recommend bleach related content everywhere you go. It's the same for me. Just finished bleach and suddenly there are many bleach content on my youtube homepage.
Ok, so, my gripe about zero squad is: why would you make inventors as your bodyguards? Like, yeah, theyre contributed to society, but wouldnt you want, like, the strongest fighters and protectors to defend you?
Kubo wanted to replicate what the Sannin and Hokage were in Naruto...very powerful and laid big ground work for how new generations would use their newly discovered techniques/abilities....except he left out the "them being important" bit.
Sannin did not became sannin because theyre invented something, they survived Hanzo attack, like, they were actively good at not dying. It's not like Hanzo was like "Hey, Jiraya, you invented those eadible underwear, so you are worthy of being called Legendary Sannin". And Kages are rulers. These both groups are not meant to be bodyguards to some Ninja King from different dimension.
ShadinCore lol....you're missing the big picture.. the Sannin were still influential, revered and still strong, not the strongest. we got mention of them and then we saw them and they were amazing to see in action, we could see who they were and why the village had that tradition. The Pages are rulers bit the same example applies, they were masters at newly discovered or rare Justus and were talked about and shown....get the point in making..if not.....smh. Zero squad was talked about, mentioned and they had importance that was not exclusive to the Arc with the Quincies...there was a reason for them being where they were... to then have them revealed and defeated mostly off-screen. and what was shown on-screen. pretty underwhelming is a perfect example of how to NOT introduce new characters/group. The sake of storytelling and craft was lost to Kubo, where as Kishimoto had a far better end result.
A member of zero squad invented zanpaktos, that almost all shinigami use. What did sannins and kages invented, that is being used by almost all ninjas? Or at least by almost all ninjas of their village?
His ideas isn't that great stop giving him too much credit lol. bleach started as ghost samurais fighting ghosts. Then it turned into ghost samurais fighting ghost nazis lmao. If you want to see great ideas, go watch HxH.
@Hyaku Juu Bullshit. Bleach ended up becoming meh, but it started out as a badass concept. And all the way till the end he came up with great ideas, built hype but had bad executions.
My biggest disappointment was the Quincies themselves. Ishida was one of my favourite characters and so an entire arc devoted to him and his clan had me so hyped... Prior to the final arc we saw Ishida using techniques passed down, there were special artefacts and weapons tailor made for them and I was curious as to the moral dilemma of the Quincies using their powers to protect themselves against Hollows but that destabilising the world and so the Shinigami had to stop them. But come the final arc the Sternritters use practically none of that. Most only used their Letter Powers which just feel like lazy equivalents of the Shikai/Bankai's, very little Quincy lore is explored and Quincies are just a boring Nazi allegory with a Jesus leader. Hell, even why several of them were alive a thousand years ago didn't even really get explained.
Also I found them all annoying except for as noddt and the girls, I love almost all the espada, ulquiorra is my favourite character ever in the manga universe with zoro, sakuragi
The sternrittes were the new quinces , they were all kids when they're non pure Quincy parents were eradicated sooo very little Quincy lore was passed unto them cause ywauch wanted a new breed
Yea it feels like all the previous quincy worldbuilding was just thrown out and this is just a new race that happens to also call themselves quincy. Like, what was the whole point of the Ishida family being the "last" Quincies? Because apparently there are thousands more.
KingJoJustJoking any captain of vaizards level which is pretty much trash 😂😂😂😂 the gap between captains is immense.......yama》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》unohana,kenpachi,aizen 》》》sunshui, ukitake》》》》》》》tousen, mayuri, byakya, gin》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》toushiro, vizards, komamura, ikkaku》》renji, rukia
I love how they went from ichigo being some harass for taking down a menos grande and next filler ark renji and him are taking them down like regular hollows.
My head canon say that the Espada only consisted of mid level Adjuchas beside what the anime says about Harribel. The closer to Vastolorde was Ulquiorra. And by closer I mean he was munched ~1000 Adjuchas away of turning into one, effectively stopping his growth. I choose to believe this after reading the one shot Unmasked Ulquiorra. There is ~6 Vastolorde and as pure hollow, they're on Yamaji's level, they all live in the depth of the Hueco Mundo where it's perpetually dark, a place only high end Adjuchas goes. You can talk to them but they're the embodiment of everything that is vile in the human soul dialed up to 11. Design wise think of Frieza third reduction and normal form, and both Hollow & Released Ulquiorra with the personality of the Apostles of Berserk.
Yama thought he was the strongest shinigami only because Kenpachi had chained his own power years ago as a child after trashing Yachiru. And just remember Yama taught Kenpachi kendo for only one day because he feared Kenpachi would become to powerful....and his power is still chained at this point! Kenpachi>>>Everybody Else
Definitely the biggest disappointment. Rushed, and for Ichigo and the squad to surpass them in the matter of days is such crap. Made Bleach go to crap and rushed its ending.
what i didnt like after seen bleach, was that itchigo never learned anything from combat , he always was lazy and always showing off after he got beaten so hard.. just as the filler with the dagger dude taking hes bankai spririt, also the last part of itchigo when he trains for the bankai returning.. was a waste of time he was so desperate and so boring. also it ended too quickly.. so much loopholes how he even beat the captains like the guy with the eyepatch.. kenpatchy.. he never stood a chance lol but hey dont mind me progress right? also how he always turn into the hollow in last fight when he beats the green dude.. -.- annoying how he have too die in order too beat someone..and that the manga now is awesome and i dont read manga becus no hype forthat
Jamie95C Not saying it's Kubo's fault, really great artist. Regardless, the copy content was crap. Great idea, but rushed. Editor's should had planned ahead of time to give him enough time to finish off properly, but that's the current manga/anime industry for you.
Reactions to Aizen. Namely, Momo. Momo *never* got closure, not even so much of a panel of her looking off in that general direction, how does that work? Her figuring out Aizen might not have been evil? Slapping him? A rant? Any closure at all ever? A more humorous note: there wasn't even another panel of what Aizen and Ichigo's endgame was after Ywhach. I'm just imagining the two just kind of awkwardly standing there for a while.
Biggest disappointment in Bleach? The fact that it always boils down to Ichigo saving everyone. Kubo created some amazing characters and did nothing with them, that's why I personally prefer One Piece, I mean, yeah sure Luffy usually beats the big guys but the crew always gets their big moment and the most badass moment (imo) is when Zoro absorbs all the damage Luffy got from the fight with Moria, every crew member has a badass moment. Bleach had an awesome premise but it was executed pretty badly.
False Prophets But even that was rushed. Like Aizen got out and teamed up with Ichigo. And Ichigo's and Uryu (or whatever glasses face name was) dads were all there and they found the bad guy's weakness and then.... They just sort of...shot him and killed him. It was... pretty lame. Unexplained. And...rushed. Look its cool when a protagonist fights and wins but them needing help, losing and someone else saving the day can still be HUGE moments when done right. Like when Gohan defeated Cell in DBZ, Or when Izuzu (from hero academia) lost in the tournament before the semi finals. Or when Yusuke (YYH) lost the kings tournament in the end: defying expectations is cool and when done right can add hype. And to be fair.. Kubo at least did that twice. So he could have done that here too. But... in the end I think he just made the villian too powerful. He completely broke his power levels. The elite guard was taken out too easy, as was the 1st seat captain, then it turned out most of the captain's lost to or died via those Bad Quincy freaks and its just... his villains became way too powerful. And after these guys were one shotted without even injuring the main baddie, who else REALLY believed Ichigo stood a chance after? I know I didn't. And his explination of his win were really disappointing. Especially since it left at least 6 fight outcomes completely unfinished, and 2 dozen characters completely left unanswered. In the end he just built up too much and couldn't deliver.
Ichigo and his friends were also very boring characters the best written ones only show up during serious moments . Ichigo is just a block of wood that was never given life .
ChasehaWing It also didn’t help when Kubo didn’t give Yamamoto and Shunsui one victory using their Bankai . As cool as it was seeing them it amounted to nothing .
+ChasehaWing Yeah, it was rushed. Because Kubo got told to end the manga, and was forced to rush it. FFS, stop shitting on him when it wasn't his fault.
The most disappointing thing in Bleach for me were Ichigo's human comrades Chad and Orihime (&his classmates , friends , family etc ) imo Kubo didn't really tell the story well enough , sure his story had awesome stuff in it but it wasn't told very well Anyways , Zero Squad was an extremely huge let down too but I never expected Kubo to care as much 'bout them if at all (especially considering how he threw away the SoulKing and all the potential he had without even trying to meet the hype)
Gio Gio orihimes ability was broken as hell but then kubo added all these weaknesses and loopholes and made is almost unusable. her ability when you look at its description is almost a perfect counter to ywhachs (or however you spell it) but she does absolutely nothing with it
My biggest disappointment was: 1) not being able to see Ichigo use anymore quincy powers other than blut vene it wouldve been cool to see him have his own bow and arrow or even have his own vollstandig 2) After all that build-up, we never got to see Ichigo vs Uryu 3) We will never get to see Azien's bankai or Jushiro'
Anime fanatic I'm down with this. Just to add a couple things would be; -an appearance in battle by Tessai, former Commander of the Kido Corps. He was just simply forgotten, and a perfect spot for him to make an appearance (other than the Pendulum Arc) would have been after the Urahara/Askin fight with everyone involved seemingly at death's door. Perfect opportunity for him to show up and use the forbidden transportation Kidou. -Yoruichi's Zanpakuto and possible Shikai/Bankai. I expected a reveal vs Askin, rather we got Yoruichi Thundercat Mode, and while it was cool and absurdly sexy, I wish we could have gotten at least a Zan release. It's not as egregious an omission as some others, but she was always my favorite, and I'd loved to have seen it.
Also that’s not too far off I don’t know what you want me to say but I won’t feign disapproval for something that’s actually quite impressive if you think about it
He's saying that the Zero Squad was the biggest disappointment in Bleach. Meanwhile 10 out of 13 Lieutenants were for the most part useless and never actually relevant to the plot.
Sasakibe: Literally Who Omaeda: Literally Who Izuru: A Character that had of a lot of potential which wasn't achieved due to Kubo's sub par writing. Isane: Literally Who Momo: Like Izuru, she had a lot of potential which was Achieved because of Kubo's writing. Today she's only known as "That girl who got stabbed" Renji: Shoved into almost every single episode and that's mostly because of his relationship with Rukia. If it wasn't for her he would be just like all other Lieutenants. Irrelevant. Tetsuzaemon: Literally Who Nanao: Like Izuru and Momo. Shuhei: Had Couple of minor battles, but his popularity comes mostly from his design. Rangiku: Read Shuhei Yachiru: Irrelevant for the majority of the series. In the manga she "dies" so Zaraki could be even more relevant than he already was. Nemu: As above but with Mayuri instead. Kubo sure knows how to write his characters that's for damn sure.
***** You misunderstand me. Theres hype, then there is ''These five guys can match the ENTIRE Gotei 13. These five guys can take Yamamoto, Kenpachi, Byakuya, Unohana, Hitsugaya, Mayuri, Shunsui, Soi-Fon and all of their combined underlings and make them their bitch.''
clearspira yea i mean honestly someone in kubos circle or advisory team should've came up and said kubo where are we going with this because like tekking the hype was fucking real when it came to the 0 division LITERALLY AND HONESTLY ALL KUBO HAD TO DO WAS MAKE 5 ICHIGO VS AIZENS FIGHTS but instead have them with each of the zero division members and the fans would've died and came back to life to see that shit or ichigo vs grimjow x5 or ichigo cs ulquiorra x5 but like I said with the zero squad members vs the stoffein whatever lol I mean a 5 year old could've just had some flashbacks of dragonball z and been like OK this is bleach we need epic fights and made some dope as fights for the zero squad I mean royal guard so you think IF BYAKUYA KUCHKI was by far one of the strongest bad ass most intelligent captains in black the zero division should've been Legit Gods but I think kubo just didn't try to live up to the hype in all honesty if kubo did what he could have and should have Bleach fan base would've shot up WHAT blach fans loved about bleach was of course the first arc but also that UNDER DOG FEEL AND VIBE LIKE OKAY WE GOT ICHIGO AND SOME SCRUBS VS THE FUCKING SOUL SOCIETY WITH POWERS BEYOND ALL IMAGINATION FUCKING URYU VS MAYURI WITH HIS BOW? THAT SHIT WAS BEAST AS FUCK??? HOW TF IS THAT FIGHT BETTER THAN ALL THE ZERO DIVISION FIGHTS LIKE HOW THE FANS WANTED ICHIGIO VS ULQUIORRA FIGHTS NOT THE LAME BORING ASS SHITS WE WE'RE GETTING but idk for whatever reason it just didn't happen.
The fact that Aizen killed Gin so he could move on to the final arc because Kubo said, "He's important to the story." I'll never let that go. Gin killed Aizen in the most beautiful scene of Bleach. Over 100 years of stalking his pray, literally developing his bankai for the sole purpose of killing Aizen. "God Killing Spear" - Kami-shini no Yari And Aizen did absolutely nothing in the final arc. Nothing has ever disappointed me in my lifetime than this one moment.
That's the whole point. The fact that all of that work still wouldn't be enough to take down Aizen would be used to show how much of a threat he is. So when he gets destroyed by Dangai Ichigo it makes you go "OH SHIT ICHIGO'S OP!".
RumbleHD How? Dangai ichigo looked extremely OP imo. Ichigo couldn't even go head to head with base ulqiuorra without hollowfication. He then destroys Aizen after the Dangai power up. Dangai Ichigo was presented to be extremely OP. If not then I'd at least would like to know why?
Breh Nation Yeap. I would have preferred if Gin killed Aizen or defeated him. That would have been one of the few things that actually made sense in this godamn series
Aizen was basically, "MUWAH HA HA!! I CAN HAZ ALL DA POWAH NOWZ!! I don't need to be clever or cautious anymore! All that foreplanning and being the ultimate Puppetmaster to such an extent I somehow predicted the outcome of people's actions before they were even born? Eh... how did I do that? Anyway, who needs any brains now that I HAVE THE POOOOOWWWWWERRRRRRR!!!" Then he got sued by He-Man for stealing his catch-phrase. ;D
Grimmjow having so much hype build up since the beginning of the TYBW arc and being completely USELESS is one of the most disappointing things in this series.
@@ss64vids84 IIRC, I don't think Nel even DID anything besides being there. Literally got the Chad treatment. And if I also remember correctly, Harribel got like, the one panel showing her in chains and was never seen or even mentioned again. I understand fan service, but why bother if you just make the service a Chekov's Gun?
The biggest disappointment in Bleach to me was butterfly Aizen and the whole final battle with Ichigo. You had 2 entire arcs of build up to what Aizen's plans were. You had all this hype about the centuries of research he did. You had a massive curbstomp battle where Aizen cuts down some of the strongest characters in the show like grass. All of it culminates in Aizen evolving for the final time into this unstoppable form and what happens? He gets completely shat on by Ichigo's nonsensical plot-induced power up. Aizen, the 2nd smartest character in the show, spent CENTURIES setting up his plan to "transcend hollows and shinigami", and Ichigo manages to far exceed him by way of 2 months of off-screen training in his inner world. And in the end, all we're left with is a joyless curbstomp battle wherein Aizen spends 75% of the panels gloating about how awesome he is while ichigo looks like he doesn't give a fuck about anything that's happening. And just to put this into perspective: The anime adaptation of the fight lasts a grand total of 20 minutes. Bleach is a show that gives an hour of fight time to even the most meaningless battles (like Kenpachi vs Nnoitra), yet the main villain of the entire franchise gets punked out in less than half an hour.
man you should really look in all angles. yea, he had aizen century of work and reseach, yeah, guess whatKUBO, THE FUCKING CREATOR OF THE SERIES HAD A FUCKING ILLNESS AND A COMPANy WAS RUSHING HIM. you should probably mention that in your comment, but that would cancel out pretty much what you said before.
Well it did devovle to the battle but he was just playing with ichigo urahara was the one who foiled his plans. He was immortal he wanted to try out his new power. All the research was to acquire that power so he wanted tp have some fun. All though i do question how he didnt notice the seal.
TheyCallMeZ-I-C-O You are kidding, right? Jokes were spreading about "the final ark announced, Kibo might finish the manga in a year or so". With main character absent from the story for months.
Honestly i loved the visored there back story was heat to the confrontation with aizen was great as well ofc they weren’t gonna take on aizen but they handled the espadas well
lordaizen66 Agreed. For a guy who was good enough to land a headshot on the Captain Commander, I expected big things from him, or at least a Shunsui rematch where he gets his revenge for his eye... But nope, he was just taken out in like two panels by Juha's GodExecutive order.
These are the characters responsible for most of the concepts in Bleach...and over half of them were defeated offscreen. This is the DEFINITION of rushed storytelling. I mean, I didn't mind Ichibei's fight with Yhwach. The way it ended was actually pretty satisfying to me, like, I didn't think he was going to beat him--but it was close. But the rest of them--no. Just no.
I have a gripe with Chad being a boxer because it undermines his whole character. His Ablueo only want him to use his strength to protect others and not himself and that Chad lived by, but now he’s ignoring that and only fighting for himself. It really ticks me off
I think it is because in his youth he practiced boxing to be able to defend himself. He learned from his grandfather and his power was at bases around throwing punches and jabs. So it kinda fits for him we never really got much of interests for him or anything.
The guy's a martial pacifist who only fights to personally defend his friends. Now he fights for entertainment purposes? Makes no sense. Just stupid all around.
I'm not sure why he didn't take the opportunity to go into his human friends and maybe like, Karin is working for Urahara and basically replacing Ichigo or something. Would make Ichigo feel incredibly helpless and isolated from his friends and family and could have gone interesting places.
Story wise: Ichigo is not the first substitute Shinigami. The first one wants revenge on the Soul society. Used Ichigo to regain his powers and tells Ichigo the truth. Ichigo regains his powers and kill Ginjo. Doesn't dare about being monitored. When an entire arc can be summarized in less than a paragraph, you have a problem.
Benny Fair fax if the anime ever comes back, that shit need to be re-written into a better story. No way in hell I wanna watch some the crap that happens in the final arc after gremmy vs kenpachi because that’s when the story REALLY started to go down hill.
lola martinez yes it did lose in popularity. For years now and bleach is a wrecked piece of shit series. In order for the series to get an anime it has to be popular in sells and that has been going down for so many years now. This shit never gonna get an anime every again and you’re deluding yourself to actually believe that shit. Waiting for something that’s never gonna happen.
Damian Lillard I know, but imagine a few epilogue chapters to answer them or maybe a possible sequel where ichigo's kid would be the one to start in the fullbring arc but it could also be left unansered and then continues in a canon movie or ovas right? but thats just me...
I truly thought it was gonna end there, Aizen sealed away (my theory was to Hell or in-between Hell and the Soul World) and be a bit of an open-ended ending where not everything needed to be explained, or just enough...I mean hell you could easily look back and see many parts where other loose ends could have been given closure VS being left out.
I've said this so many times. The fact that the gotei 13 did more than squad zero was complete bullshit. I'll never get over their fight being skipped. Awesome characters not properly utilized. At least Kirio and Shutara are hot.
Prince Revolver I think squad zero was just over exaggerated. I think that while squad zero was up stairs protecting the Soul King, the Gotei 13 were getting stronger during, and after Aizen's attack. The squad zero being stronger than all of Gotei 13 combined was likely false. Maybe Shunsui was under the impression that they were 'still' that insanely powerful when in reality himself and the other captains got either as strong, or stronger.
@@kelvs45 It was stated in the manga that their combined power is stronger than the gotei 13. Meaning that just one of them is strong enough to take on the captain commander. We're talking about 13 captains, and their lieutenants. Granted if Captain Commander used Zanka no Tachi Nishi (west) then they'd have a problem as his body is engulfed in heat up to 15,000,000 degrees and nobody would be able to get near him, or touch him. The captain commander is strong, but only because of his bankai's (west) ability.
@@derekmorris89 Yeah keep lowballing Old Man Yamamoto to make your Squad Zero more irrelevant. LOL. Old Man Yamamoto is not losing to a group of shinigami that got one tapped by Yhwach without him needing the Almighty. Oetsu and Ichibe are the only members I give props to specifically Oetsu cause he one tapped 3 sternritters without using shikai nor bankai. Even then it is quite obvious none of them are stronger than Old Man Yama.
@@Kaden786 I'm not trying to lowball him. Just using common sense is all. Once Yhwach stole Yamamoto's bankai, he ended him very easily with little to no effort at all. Had yamamoto used his bankai against the real Yhwach instead of the fake one, I think Yamamoto would stand a chance. The purpose of the fake was to get Yamamoto to reveal his bankai's abilities and so the real one could steal it. I think Ichibei would give Yamamoto a run for his money. All it would take is landing a blow to his zanpakutou and renaming it to remove its ability. I swear some people are so hellbent on believing Yamamoto is unbeatable without considering the abilities of other captains that can counter his own. He is indeed the strongest captain of the Gotei 13, but that does not make him invincible or impossible to beat.
@@derekmorris89 Name one captain that counters Yamamoto's zanpakuto. You say you aren't lowballing him but then proceed to say his zanpakuto has counters??!?!?!? When its legit stated in manga and anime that his zanpakuto is the strongest in HISTORY(not elemental zanpakuto) ZANPAKUTO in history. Also Ichibei vs Yamamoto is just speculation since the moment Yama-ji pops Bankai Ichibei wouldn't stand a chance unless he uses kido which Yamato has access to as well.
@@fort2558 well he just had more than two important wins that's how low my standard is. He beat espada 7 one of the fullbrings and the F. He also technically off screened 3 more letters
Luckily that's exactly when I stopped watching. Ichigo's wimpy attitude then random powerup to win hugely 1 sided fight with Aizen was such a big disappointment I stopped immediately after the fight was over.
Why couldn't the zero squad team up with the Gotie captains to protect the Soul King. TF was even the point of the Soul King? A stationary being encased in a crystal shell...
Nah, I actually really loved the way he got taken out. REALLY drived the home the threat of the quincy and Yhwach by easily slaughtering the soul reapers in the first invasion. It really showed that people were gonna be seriously killed in this final arc and I loved that shit.
raheem camal yea no 🧢 kubo made it seem as if Yama was the most hax character and he probably was the most hax character being able to literally one shot anybody but the he let him get mega blitzed and one tapped was absolute bullshit.
@@taleofgamingg9434 he wasn't most hax. Aizen and Yhwach are. Aizen literally immortal, has FKING TONS of reatsu, he's hella smart, he has op zanpaktou that can put anyone in an illusion, he has hogyku. Yhwach has the almighty, which is super op, he can give out power to other ppl, he had yama bankai that has 4 other abilities, he has all quincy abilities, he has reio abilities Until aizens betrayal maybe was most hax, now he's not
Despite how long Bleach is out of all the Mangas that get canceled I feel like Bleach is thee most incomplete and disappointing. Like there's so much that just isn't fleshed out or ever explained. I never felt more upset when a series ended than Bleach
*Correction*, Zero Squad was mentioned in the very first arc f the series. Rukia mentions them when Ichigo encounters the Menos Grande for the first time.
ColonelCarnage I mean that was anime filler but yeah they could do that because kubo doesn’t know how to hold up claims make them consistent to what is happening.
I stopped before any introduction to Zero Squad (other than when they dropped the hint that they existed) and this video is making me pissed on behalf of everyone who was still invested. That's such a major fuck up on Kubo's behalf. Totally agree with what you are saying about reader expectations and Kubo's blatant disrespect by giving us so little. It's like telling a child that they are being taken to Disneyland for their birthday but instead, being taken to the dentist and given a Mickey Mouse sticker as a consolidation prize.
Top 5 disappointments in Bleach: 1. Zero Squad 2. Ryuken/Uryu's role in the final "Quincy" arc 3. Ichigo's final Bankai 4. Other unseen Shinigami's Bankai (Aizen, Ukitake, Shinji, Isshin, Love, Shuhei, etc...) 5. The Arrancar who were reintroduced in the final arc (Halibel, Grimmjow, Nel, etc...)
magicfoogieA for me and it involves on why did all the Quincy's hate the soul King never explained cuz even ichigo's Quincy blood couldn't stand him and proceeded to slice him in half despite Ichigo bot being able to stip him self and all the things you said Above This is old LOL but wanted to chime in.
It’s interesting coming back to this nearly-7 year old video after watching the newest episode. I’m so glad we actually got to see some actual Zero Squad Vs Schutzstaffel action.
6:37 Yeah, a silly character being a badass is actually pretty cool. Seriously, when I first saw Might Gai from Naruto, I thought the guy was a clown. An elite Jonin, but a clown. Now... well, Yagai. Look that up if you don't know what it is. Then you'll understand the badass that is Gai.
go i was hoping for more of her infact i was so hyped she became my third fav when i saw her fight tekking could tell you the hate post i made when she was killed off screen all my fav chars alway get treated like crap by fans or righters like how my fav char soifon was forgoten even tekking 101 the man who hates her was surpized by the lazness of kubo
he couldn't be beat, because his power to see the future and change it to what favors him most, he had like unlimited save points to do whatever he want to prevent a lethal blow... well, there was a way, killing him in his sleep, but that will had been really anti-climatic. I mean now that all his men where dead and he couldn't lend his power to a subordinate to watch for him.
ya not even battles were good ;d I srsly had to reread all of the VIP knight fights and still havn't really understand how their powers worked or how did they get defeated like that ;d and that ichigo insta kill shit was even worse -.-
I think the biggest disappointment for me was... pretty much everything that happened after Aizen's defeat, actually. I couldn't manage to make sense out of the events that happened after that. I mean sure, there were some good moments (or at least, not-so-bad ones) like Tsukishima's memory hijack; but the story kind of played out like a bad fanfic for the most of it.
IMO, the lack of any backstory about Soul King and his relation to Ywach. I mean somewhere it is said Ywach was born in spirit world/human world, i'm not sure exactly but there is lack of background on his history. Also why on earth is the Soul King a useless thingy? Can he even be referred to as a thing?
I agree. but the biggest disappointment to me was the fact that we never got to see the first Fight between Yamamoto and Juha... It would have been nice to the see how everything all began, and by everything I'm also including the rivalry between the Quincy and the soul reapers, as well as how the two groups actually came to be. I would have been nice to see the "Genesis" of the soul king.
I'm watching this video again, a year after it was uploaded, and my blood still boils when I think about how the Royal Guard/Zero Division got treated. Such a let down! And it didn't have to be. They definitely could have had a lot more screen time if Kubo had been a lot more reasonable with his Sternritter fights in the Royal Palace afterward. I mean, really, those battles were unreasonably long and drawn out.
I reas REEEAAALLY hoping that the Zero squad would've just joined with Ywatch in the end out of obligation of protecting the Soul King, with the idea that Ywatch IS the Soul King. but biggests disappointment was the handling of Ichigo towards the end of the Fake Karakura arc. he was falling dead in the water, and proably could've been saved with the whole Weight of his VIzard powers starting to drag him down, and the relization that he's basically been bullshitting on trainning and struggling to really make much of an imact like he used to do... NOPE dumped to the side, and he acts like it never happened. jjust contuied to disapoint and get random powerups the whole way.
djmeagaaim17 yea I feel that they needed a full arc for/about the 5 war potentials. and the final arc shouldve been sooo much longer. :( so sad my second favorite anime/manga ended this way
Kenpachi wasn't trashed by Bach, but a Quincy copying him in appearance. That's even more pathetic. Kenpachi didn't even get beaten by the main bad guy.
truly felt your pain. loved bleach in high school, grew out of it after Aizen sat down. Came back to the series/ manga for the conclusion after living in japan for a bit. Read a few hundred chapters while at a hospital, but regardless....the world has another shot at greatness. Thanks for all that you do Tekking, forreal. You are a hero, thanks for being you and being strong.
Wish he did against Ichigo, Aizen, and if Isshin and Ruken wouldve been there. There was a fan based fight they made, it was Ywach using Old mans bankai it was pretty cool fan made, if u wanna see it just tell me
Its funny you bring them up. Cuz after the fullbring ark they was never shown again.I was mad about that because I wanted to see ururu again. She was so cute everyone just forgot about them
My biggest disappointment is the skipped training, simply because it happened a lot, I can't be the only one who wanted to see ALL of Ichigo's bankai training, or his full stay at the Zero division, or Renji's Bankai training. all of that training, gone.
I agree so much! lol "What kind of sword does the God of the Sword have!?" it sucks we never got to see! I also wanted to see Nemu's even though she was a minor character.
I'm definitely not disappointed about the fight between Ichibei Hyosube and Ywach though. That's probably one of my favorite battle in the entire series.
solidvipersnake all of those things were fairly rushed. the zero squad was built up and totally under used. their limited influence relates to ichigos final bankai lameness. the zero squad being the biggest disapointment is totally spot on.
Why is RenRuki surprising since they where always together and practically connected at the hip after the soul society ark? Rukia is barely with Ichigo so why is it so shocking she ended up with Renji?
I think Yhwach's defeat was the most disappointing thing... because they used an deus-ex-machina to take out his Powers, summing up if he had his Powers they would not be able to defeat him, and when he "Revives" ten years later, the mere touch of Kazui makes him disapear... that was kind of unnecessary...
There is one way I feel that moment in the series could be redeemed: if they animated the fights in either short videos, or made a movie about them. They'd have to be high quality to make up for the amount of time that has past, though.
The worst part is that it's not even a massive disappointment overall. In my opinion the characters were really likeable and pretty badass (mostly Ichibei and Nimaiya). The absolute most disappointing thing is how little they actually showed up and did. They showed what they could do, and it's not like the characters were terribly written or anything like that, it's that they were totally wasted potential. It's pretty terrible to see a trainwreck from the start and hate the characters, but it's always worse to see good potential go to complete waste, and longing to see more of interesting characters but then never seeing any more. Remember Chad? The only reason I was interested in the Fullbring arc was because I thought, "Hey, their powers are related to Chad! And since they aren't super OP like Aizen or the Espada, maybe Chad can actually get some action!" Nope.
That's how he fucked it up...he kept piling more shit onto Ichigo's character. He should have been Shinigami/Hollow....nothing more. I mean it could have had an awesome effect especially thru the Arrancar Arc, I see a similarity with Attack of Titan's main character...use the enemy's own power against them....but nope Ichigo gets new plot armor in each subsequent Arc which he continually find some unknown history/backstory previously not revealed....when we've gone back thru his history and past..again...and again... The Retconning of what Ichigo is is just annoying. When I stopped watching and reading Bleach after Aizen was defeated and then my friend continued to read and told me "Yeah...Ichigo's mom was a Quincy" I immediately went..".then how the fuck did she die so easily to a fucking regular hollow and sacrifice herself for no reason? Get the fuck out of here...."
damnlogin And the worst part is that people want to really defend Kubo's lack of finishing these stories big and small with satisfying, meaningful or understandable conclusions. I'm a big Bleach fan, many of my all time fav Anime fighting characters come from this series, I think the Manga is beautifully drawn and you can enjoy and support it....but at least understand where many of us that are upset over the recent developments are coming from.
one they were anhilated by the enemy. two they were supppose to be stronger than the gotei 13 but still got anhilated by the first wave of enemies. three after the last battle we don't get to see squad zero get fixed or members of the gotei get promoted to squad zero. fourth we don't get to see the royal family despite in the whole entire series we always hear people talk about them. fifth their job as to protect the soul king and the royal family but despite that they send ichigo to do their jobs. sixth squad zero members had very good diverse personalities but was written off the series. but seriously who the fak is the royal family we see the soul king but he was in a faking crystal and died by ichigo's sword.
I also like to look at the zero squad fight differently, you obviously knew they weren’t going to be the ones to defeat Yhwach but I believe they Underestimated the Quincys DEEPLY and that had a lot to do with them losing
Yamamoto was a looooot more badass than the 0 squad.
Ichibe was pretty fuckin badass, but I do agree overall
damn right he was
Dam right
The Majority of 0 division, I can somewhat agree. But ichibe after Ichigo wins the #1 badass character in the series.
Yea, zero squad being stronger than the whole gotei was such a lie.
Ichigo: Half shinigami, half Quincy, half hollow
And yet the final fight somehow isn't the hypest in the entire series with him using everything at his disposal.
Sooooo, Ichigo is more than 100 percent of a person. Hmmm, that makes total sense.
3 halfs in one whole, you live in a different dimension apparently
@@alives5645 lol ofc. I am just freaking mad at Kube. He should have given the rights of the story to Kishimoto, would have done more justice

"How did you manage to fuck this up Kubo"
that about sums up the majority of Bleach. Fantastic ideas, awful execution.
Never exploring Ururu's potential was a missed opportunity too.
that one time he totally murked Gantenbainne.... yeah good time
And to think he said his powers are close to a hollows
@BlackWingedSeraph true
Why did they have to make it so that he's friends with two Duds that have to be forced into the story somehow just because
I also hated how Tatsuki ended up just being some worthless chick that got lost in the gold.
So you have
- a calligrapher (the zen of samurai)
- a blacksmith (the weapon/soul of a samurai)
- a weaver (the symbol of status and honor of a samurai)
- a tea maker (the symbol tranquility of a samurai)
- a sauna (the harmony of nature and samurai)
The concept is magnificent.. the execution was disappointing.

Joshua Jones No kidding.
I couldn't agree more!!!!
*clears throat* "biggest disappointment"
yeah tekking's a disappointment to zero squad
not even biggest is good enough to describe it
I can name some things left me dissapointed:
1. No 1000-year war flashback
2. The rushed ending
3. Not seeing what Ichigo's new bankai was truly capable of.
4. Not seeing Aizen interact with Momo and Shinji one last time.
5. Not making Harribel and her fraccion reappear again in the war. :/
6. Nell not having a fight with a Sternritter.
7. Kira, Kensei and Rose should have stayed dead.
8. Isshin and Ryuken not taking enough action in the war.
9. Not seeing Hisagi´s bankai or having a proper fight.
10. No resolution for Squad Zero
Etc. Despite the many flaws that it had and the ones that I've mentioned, I still like the final arc of the Bleach series, I just wished that it hadn´t ended the way it did because MAN it had sooo much wasted opportunities.... :(
Alvaro DeG number 5 keeps getting into my imaginations

Ik this is an old comment but I totally agree. I remember being SO hyped for the final fights to come, to see everybody go all out, the chair-chad aizen come back and go in, ichigo struggle and finally use his full power, but then it just kinda... ended. Nothing got really resolved in a satisfying way, and it was just kinda done with all that hype left in disappointment. I’m hoping that if the recent rumors are true and bleach is actually getting an anime renewal that kubo can help them at least expand on the final battle a bit. Love the series to pieces so if it could come back on anime form and fix some of the problems it had pacing wise and resolution wise I’d be so pumped
about that you should read cant fear your own world it has hisagis bankai and shinjis
You forgot about 1 Rose turning fucking braindead and telling Mask his powers and 2 not seeing Rose's full bankai
If we had that then the off screening would feel a lot less worse
guess what boyo
Biggest disappointment: Seeing ichigo lose his power and regain it over and over only to have the final battle be "I'm strong" "No you aint" "Ok" "See?" "Ok, this time you go down in one hit" "No I wo- Oh... okay I guess I do".
It was just bullshit.
It was the biggest disappointment for me. The entirety of Bleach. Barriers broken. His true power is finally released. Both sides of himself together as one. Aaaaaaaaaand its broken.
Omegeddon His character was pretty bland too
@@BlackangelKatakuri Just because he's more like a hero than other protags who have some silly goal?

Who's here after Kubo cooked?
See you all in 2024. Hopefully the momentum carries on
you know what was one of the most disappointing thing in bleach? the soul king himself.
The one time where filler episodes are actually wanted
goldmemberpb
will whittmon currently I am trying to write a fanfic where most of the plot holes will be explained. :P like "why the limbs of the soul king were with juha" :)
why did Aizen want to see the soul king anyway?
The biggest disappointment for me was not revealing the background and relations between the Soul King and Juha Bach. We know almost nothing about the Soul King.
Zero he basically said "father" and thats it. We dont get anything after that! It creates more question than answers.
With the bleach anime being re announced, this would be the only time I wouldn’t mind filler, we need to see more than we got with the zero division in the manga.
So ironic, ppl hated the fillers. I wojldnt mind new bleach fillers rn.
Would actually love to see an origin of the Royal Guard as a filler or spin off series
It wouldn't necessarily be filler cuz it's more important to the story.
In my opinion I think the thousand year blood war should be made into an ova series
Kind of how they did mobile suit gundam have each episode be 40 minutes that way we have more fleshed out plot and episodes
jhon ram it honestly makes sense, and I’m sure OG Bleach fans would appreciate the fuck outta it
you will see it
Wait a sec. The zero squad was supposed to be stronger than the Gotei combined, but were defeated by the SS. Then the Gotei, not even the whole Gotei, defeats the SS. Logic at its finest right?
Well... they didnt kill Gerard and Lilie, so evererything is fine :D.
they did kill lilie, it was just never shown, they wouldn't be rebuilding the seireitei with lilie still being around pecking at them.
Ahhh mate... When Ywah went into portal to Seretei for the final battle, he gathered SS powers into himself, that made Gerard, Lile and Hahshwald (or whatever his damn german name is) disappear. So shinigamis didnt kill them really.
Offcourse Lile has lost his powers, but he stayed alive till the end probably, if im not wrong.
Even if Ywah don't absorb them, Kira would finish Lile, so Shinigamis defeat him
No wonder they are called the "Zero" squad, they are worth absolutely nothing. Lol
Sooper 17 u really good

4 years later, youtube recommended me Bleach.

1 more year and you can watch the final season.
Like, yeah, theyre contributed to society, but wouldnt you want, like, the strongest fighters and protectors to defend you?
that is true. Upvote.
Or at least by almost all ninjas of their village?
lets all just face it. kubo has great ideas but is extremely bad at executing those ideas.
givmespace
His ideas isn't that great stop giving him too much credit lol. bleach started as ghost samurais fighting ghosts. Then it turned into ghost samurais fighting ghost nazis lmao. If you want to see great ideas, go watch HxH.
Hyaku Juu lol nah bleach has better concepts than hxh i think
@Hyaku Juu Bullshit. Bleach ended up becoming meh, but it started out as a badass concept. And all the way till the end he came up with great ideas, built hype but had bad executions.
Selfish Eyes "Great ideas" lol. "Let's make ghoust samurai! YEAH! Awesome idea" gtfo lol. Go read HxH if you wanna see great idea lmao
Quincies were great
Also I found them all annoying except for as noddt and the girls, I love almost all the espada, ulquiorra is my favourite character ever in the manga universe with zoro, sakuragi
The sternrittes were the new quinces , they were all kids when they're non pure Quincy parents were eradicated sooo very little Quincy lore was passed unto them cause ywauch wanted a new breed
I actually don't like uryo but I completely agree with you
Yea it feels like all the previous quincy worldbuilding was just thrown out and this is just a new race that happens to also call themselves quincy. Like, what was the whole point of the Ishida family being the "last" Quincies? Because apparently there are thousands more.
Kubo's whole writing style is writing checks that always bounce.
Remember the Vastrolords being "stronger than any captain ever?" How did that work?
Like nothing. Absolutely nothing. Those Vasto Lordes that became Espada were a major let down.

Rushed the ending? What would you do if the editors told you that they are canceling bleach and giving him a finish date,
what i didnt like after seen bleach, was that itchigo never learned anything from combat , he always was lazy and always showing off after he got beaten so hard.. just as the filler with the dagger dude taking hes bankai spririt, also the last part of itchigo when he trains for the bankai returning.. was a waste of time he was so desperate and so boring. also it ended too quickly.. so much loopholes how he even beat the captains like the guy with the eyepatch.. kenpatchy.. he never stood a chance lol but hey dont mind me progress right? also how he always turn into the hollow in last fight when he beats the green dude..
A Taste of Anime
Bleach went to crap way before that because of the editors.

Maybe in the Anime the Zero Squad will get more screentime.

Ikr!? I was expecting a reaction either from her or from Shinji on the chapter where he crushed those little dark creatures from the Mimihagi.
Well, the protagonist should always save the day. It's their story after all. Aizen and Ichigo teamin up to defeat the enemy's leader was tolerable.
False Prophets
But even that was rushed.

The most disappointing thing in Bleach for me were Ichigo's human comrades Chad and Orihime (&his classmates , friends , family etc )
imo
Kubo didn't really tell the story well enough , sure his story had awesome stuff in it but it wasn't told very well
Anyways , Zero Squad was an extremely huge let down too but I never expected Kubo to care as much 'bout them if at all
(especially considering how he threw away the SoulKing and all the potential he had without even trying to meet the hype)
not only that, Inoue got some seriously overpowered ability and it was completely useless most of the time
He would've done more with his classmates but Jump told him to hurry up with the SS arc.
Gio Gio orihimes ability was broken as hell but then kubo added all these weaknesses and loopholes and made is almost unusable. her ability when you look at its description is almost a perfect counter to ywhachs (or however you spell it) but she does absolutely nothing with it
Not a Giant I literally had the exact same thought. Orihime has probably been the biggest disappointment in bleach from day 1
Orihime's powers were insane, but they only worked when it was convenient for the plot.
My biggest disappointment was:
1) not being able to see Ichigo use anymore quincy powers other than blut vene it wouldve been cool to see him have his own bow and arrow or even have his own vollstandig
2) After all that build-up, we never got to see Ichigo vs Uryu
3) We will never get to see Azien's bankai or Jushiro'
Anime fanatic I'm down with this. Just to add a couple things would be;
-an appearance in battle by Tessai, former Commander of the Kido Corps.
Anime fanatic I mean didn't we all know uryu would gotten destroyed
+Dan The man well at his current state Uryu have some solid chances
the whole uryu thing went nowhere
Anime fanatic 3) Since when were you under the assumption you weren't already in Aizen's bankai? :^)

He's saying that the Zero Squad was the biggest disappointment in Bleach. Meanwhile 10 out of 13 Lieutenants were for the most part useless and never actually relevant to the plot.
Constanza The Bestest yachiru was relevant
Sasakibe: Literally Who
Omaeda: Literally Who
Izuru: A Character that had of a lot of potential which wasn't achieved due to Kubo's sub par writing.
Isane: Literally Who
Momo: Like Izuru, she had a lot of potential which was Achieved because of Kubo's writing. Today she's only known as "That girl who got stabbed"
Renji: Shoved into almost every single episode and that's mostly because of his relationship with Rukia. If it wasn't for her he would be just like all other Lieutenants. Irrelevant.
Tetsuzaemon: Literally Who
Nanao: Like Izuru and Momo.
Shuhei: Had Couple of minor battles, but his popularity comes mostly from his design.
Rangiku: Read Shuhei
Yachiru: Irrelevant for the majority of the series. In the manga she "dies" so Zaraki could be even more relevant than he already was.
Nemu: As above but with Mayuri instead.
Kubo sure knows how to write his characters that's for damn sure.
In fairness, they were never hyped. Zero Squad were.
*****
You misunderstand me.
"God Killing Spear" - Kami-shini no Yari
And Aizen did absolutely nothing in the final arc.
That Guy! but it failed to do even that
RumbleHD How?
I mean he wasn't completely useless but man he got fucking sidelined
@@ss64vids84 IIRC, I don't think Nel even DID anything besides being there. Literally got the Chad treatment. Kinda hard to pick just one, but the Zero Squad definitely was one of the biggest disappointments in Bleach.
I know, there is a lot to choose from.
@thrillseeker8922 this isnt relevant but ur profile picture of L really goes with ur statement XD
ButterFlaizen*
Well it did devovle to the battle but he was just playing with ichigo urahara was the one who foiled his plans. He was immortal he wanted to try out his new power. All the research was to acquire that power so he wanted tp have some fun. All though i do question how he didnt notice the seal.
if there is HATE there is LOVE he wasnt rushed at that point lol
Big Isaac but isnt urahara the smartest ?
Biggest disappointment in Bleach: The rushed ending.
Yep
Ok, can you explain how "rushed" and "kubo" can fit together?
True. Because if it was not rushed, the Zero Squad and the Soul King would be fleshed out more.
The magazine said "finish the series in 6 chapters" or something when there was clearly like half an arc left of content.
TheyCallMeZ-I-C-O You are kidding, right? Jokes were spreading about "the final ark announced, Kibo might finish the manga in a year or so". With main character absent from the story for months.
Shinji and his crew were my biggest dissapointment. Orohime and Chad along with the zero squad as well.
Don't forget tatsuki
Yes YES YESSSSSS!!!!! No body is talking about this at all!!!! After so many season .... nothing !!!!
Honestly i loved the visored there back story was heat to the confrontation with aizen was great as well ofc they weren’t gonna take on aizen but they handled the espadas well
Characters like Orihime, Chad, and Tatsuki are why I like the first arc of bleach probably the most.
I honestly think that chad and orihime shouldnt be introduced in the first place if kubo doesnt wanna give them moments to shine.
my biggest disapointment was the last arcs offscreaing so many fights
Yeah, what was the about
djmeagaaim17 so many cool sternritter do nothing robert was pointless and he was cool he blinded shunsui
lordaizen66 Agreed. For a guy who was good enough to land a headshot on the Captain Commander, I expected big things from him, or at least a Shunsui rematch where he gets his revenge for his eye... But nope, he was just taken out in like two panels by Juha's GodExecutive order.
+lordaizen66 Yooo Robert was by far my favorite Sternritter. Was his power/letter even revealed bro? That's so disappointing...
Robert's Letter was "N" but as for what it stood for or what his powers were...we will never know. :(
These are the characters responsible for most of the concepts in Bleach...and over half of them were defeated offscreen. This is the DEFINITION of rushed storytelling.
I mean, I didn't mind Ichibei's fight with Yhwach. The way it ended was actually pretty satisfying to me, like, I didn't think he was going to beat him--but it was close. But the rest of them--no. Just no.
Yes just yes
I have a gripe with Chad being a boxer because it undermines his whole character. His Ablueo only want him to use his strength to protect others and not himself and that Chad lived by, but now he’s ignoring that and only fighting for himself. It really ticks me off
Tbf,thats a sport and basically for fun.Theres no real malice in it.
I still wanna know why Chad became a boxer
Why not?
André Carapinha He said that he'll only fight for Ichigo
I think it is because in his youth he practiced boxing to be able to defend himself. He learned from his grandfather and his power was at bases around throwing punches and jabs. So it kinda fits for him we never really got much of interests for him or anything.
"The answer is: Don't think about it!"
~ Rick Sanchez
The guy's a martial pacifist who only fights to personally defend his friends. Now he fights for entertainment purposes? Makes no sense. Just stupid all around.
Most disappointing arc was the Fullbring arc. If I didn't read the manga, I would have thought it was a filler arc.
I thought it was filler 🤣🤣
pyeclam definitely
I'm not sure why he didn't take the opportunity to go into his human friends and maybe like, Karin is working for Urahara and basically replacing Ichigo or something. Would make Ichigo feel incredibly helpless and isolated from his friends and family and could have gone interesting places.
anime wise was greatly animated that part
Story wise: Ichigo is not the first substitute Shinigami. The first one wants revenge on the Soul society. Used Ichigo to regain his powers and tells Ichigo the truth. Ichigo regains his powers and kill Ginjo. Doesn't dare about being monitored.
When an entire arc can be summarized in less than a paragraph, you have a problem.
Kubo is great at making characters but shit at doing anything with them.
I really wanted to know Yhwach's backstory so fucking bad.
Benny Fair fax if the anime ever comes back, that shit need to be re-written into a better story. No way in hell I wanna watch some the crap that happens in the final arc after gremmy vs kenpachi because that’s when the story REALLY started to go down hill.

@@Gadget-Walkmen hahahahaha no it didnt went downhill there and gear up when the anime comes back you will get that kid
lola martinez yes it did lose in popularity. For years now and bleach is a wrecked piece of shit series. In order for the series to get an anime it has to be popular in sells and that has been going down for so many years now.
This shit never gonna get an anime every again and you’re deluding yourself to actually believe that shit.

Aizen's defeat and loss of ixhigo's powers would have been a perfect end
yiban di it would be awesome but there would still be many un answered questions
Damian Lillard
I know, but imagine a few epilogue chapters to answer them or maybe a possible sequel where ichigo's kid would be the one to start in the fullbring arc but it could also be left unansered and then continues in a canon movie or ovas right? but thats just me...
Def should've ended there. They could've easily wrapped up more things or given Ichigo his powers back in a couple OVAs/films.
Eh nah not really
There are 4 actually consistently useful good guys. Ichigo, kenpachi, byakuya and mayori. All the rest get 0-2 wins. Usually 0-1.
eh more like they get reserved to deal with the fodder enemies and also why is byakuya here when he barely gets a dub against the side villains
@@fort2558 well he just had more than two important wins that's how low my standard is.

Everything after the defeat of Aizen is the biggest disappointment in bleach
100% agree

They were mentioned in the Turn back the pendulum arc.
@@MrPhantoka1 shit storytelling. Kubo simply shitted on himself multiple times throughout the series.
It was weird seeing Ichigo and friends going into the menos forest and just crushing them with ease.

3. Ichigo's final Bankai

5. The Arrancar who were reintroduced in the final arc (Halibel, Grimmjow, Nel, etc...)

rezo kiladze yeah, I'm glad he revealed alot of the bankais.
Collins Ongaya like the battle wasn't even good like ichigo just comes up mugetsu and it's over
ya not even battles were good ;d I srsly had to reread all of the VIP knight fights and still havn't really understand how their powers worked or how did they get defeated like that ;d and that ichigo insta kill shit was even worse -.-
Yeah glad I finished with Bleach when the anime ended. The whole series should have ended with Aizen.
I think the biggest disappointment for me was... pretty much everything that happened after Aizen's defeat, actually. I couldn't manage to make sense out of the events that happened after that. I mean sure, there were some good moments (or at least, not-so-bad ones) like Tsukishima's memory hijack; but the story kind of played out like a bad fanfic for the most of it.
exactly what i said
The only things good about this arc were the Bankai we got to see that we didn’t see prior . Aside from that this arc sucked .
And you are wrong
@@BlackangelKatakuri no it didnt
@@BlackangelKatakuri It didnt sucked. It was good but flawed
My biggest disappointment was Ryuken not appearing in the Quincy arc until near the end and only giving Uryu a FUCKING arrow.
I agree. but the biggest disappointment to me was the fact that we never got to see the first Fight between Yamamoto and Juha...
Ichigo in the final arc far worst than he was in the FKT arc.
I think the biggest disappointment was the either the 5 War Potentials, or the final arc as a whole.
djmeagaaim17 yea I feel that they needed a full arc for/about the 5 war potentials. and the final arc shouldve been sooo much longer. :( so sad my second favorite anime/manga ended this way
Kenpachi was hyped up as he might have gotten another power-up but no, he got fucking trashed by yuha bleuach.
Kenpachi just sucks now, and so does Ichigo.
Kenpachi wasn't trashed by Bach, but a Quincy copying him in appearance. That's even more pathetic. Kenpachi didn't even get beaten by the main bad guy.
EmptyMan000 Yeah totally forgot about that. Man kenpachi sucked ass.
truly felt your pain.
loved bleach in high school, grew out of it after Aizen sat down. Came back to the series/ manga for the conclusion after living in japan for a bit. Read a few hundred chapters while at a hospital, but regardless....the world has another shot at greatness.
Thanks for all that you do Tekking, forreal.
You are a hero, thanks for being you and being strong.
The biggest disapointmejt was ryuken showing up then doing nothing...
Same for me Urahara, Yourichi, Ichi, and him were the real 0 squad
Did yhwach even use Yamamoto's bankai
No, another disappointment. =/
Wish he did against Ichigo, Aizen, and if Isshin and Ruken wouldve been there. There was a fan based fight they made, it was Ywach using Old mans bankai it was pretty cool fan made, if u wanna see it just tell me
Samir Hanan let me know that sounds cool
Link please.

coming back 7 years later to say: Thank GOD for Studio Peirrot listening to Kobo for TTBW
My biggest disappointment......I'd say it'd be all the little things that couldn't be explained, like Jinta and Ururu's back stories
Its funny you bring them up. Cuz after the fullbring ark they was never shown again.I was mad about that because I wanted to see ururu again. She was so cute everyone just forgot about them
zane20x dragon She was a badass lil girl too! One of my favorite moments was watching her absolutely BATTER SzayelAporro's brother.
zane20x dragon
I always thought they were mod should created by urahara cuz he was lonely lol
my biggest disappointment was Juha Bach.. he is the worst villain I have ever know.. the way he was defeated was just soo much bs.
This is probably one my all time favorite. I never fail to revisit this whenever I need a good laugh. Much love from the Philippines!
My biggest disappointment is the skipped training, simply because it happened a lot, I can't be the only one who wanted to see ALL of Ichigo's bankai training, or his full stay at the Zero division, or Renji's Bankai training. all of that training, gone.
Alot of manga does that anyway.
karsten69 my biggest disappointment is them fucking stopping the anime during.a good plot in the story
jump wanted bleach to end
ASAP Danny but he didn't even finish anything just stopped during like not vein what half the show going by manga
I agree so much! lol "What kind of sword does the God of the Sword have!?" it sucks we never got to see!
I also wanted to see Nemu's even though she was a minor character.
people give Naruto alot of crap but atleast kishimoto did SOMETHING with the build up to madara.
also alot of people say he liked drawing fights but based on what ive seen he prefers drawing huge boobs
@@norishimogawa6125 Not defending Kubo, but his female drawings are the best out of the Big Three. Bleach, still disappointing though.
@@MrMathsimon i agree tbh
@@norishimogawa6125 you mean kubo or kishimoto
@@Sleepyhollow3245 to be honestm, it's too long ago for me to remember, but probably kubo
I'm definitely not disappointed about the fight between Ichibei Hyosube and Ywach though. That's probably one of my favorite battle in the entire series.
I made a conclusion from this video. Too many characters with too many complex abilities and very less time. Thats it. Summed up.
I come back to this video every now and then. This is so sad, can we hit 50 million likes?
The biggest disappointment in Bleach for me was Aizen vs Juha, IchiHime, more plot holes opened, RenRuki, and worst of all the ending.
solidvipersnake all of those things were fairly rushed. the zero squad was built up and totally under used. their limited influence relates to ichigos final bankai lameness. the zero squad being the biggest disapointment is totally spot on.
for me it was ichigos final bankai it did nothing
Why is RenRuki surprising since they where always together and practically connected at the hip after the soul society ark? Rukia is barely with Ichigo so why is it so shocking she ended up with Renji?
solidvipersnake agreed :/
all of that was the ending...
There is one way I feel that moment in the series could be redeemed:
if they animated the fights in either short videos, or made a movie about them.
I'm glad the anime redeemed them now
I indeed see two BIG disappointments in that thumbnail
Biggest disappointment in Bleach? Ichigo.
I agree with you there m'friend.
Ichigo was supposed to be the 'ultimate' reaper, he was part Shinigami, part Quincy, part Fullbring, part Vaizard. How did Kubo screw this up.
Nikki S. Lol I found out the same way and literally said the same exact thing. Bullshit asspulls
damnlogin And the worst part is that people want to really defend Kubo's lack of finishing these stories big and small with satisfying, meaningful or understandable conclusions. I'm a big Bleach fan, many of my all time fav Anime fighting characters come from this series, I think the Manga is beautifully drawn and you can enjoy and support it....but at least understand where many of us that are upset over the recent developments are coming from.
Ichigo's True Bankai was the biggest disappointment
Reading the last arc of Bleach again. I'm still disappointed that Kubo got rushed to finish off Bleach and what happened to the Zero Squad
Spolier:

They are all dtill alive
one they were anhilated by the enemy.
two they were supppose to be stronger than the gotei 13 but still got anhilated by the first wave of enemies.
three after the last battle we don't get to see squad zero get fixed or members of the gotei get promoted to squad zero.
fourth we don't get to see the royal family despite in the whole entire series we always hear people talk about them.
fifth their job as to protect the soul king and the royal family but despite that they send ichigo to do their jobs.
sixth squad zero members had very good diverse personalities but was written off the series.
but seriously who the fak is the royal family we see the soul king but he was in a faking crystal and died by ichigo's sword.
I also like to look at the zero squad fight differently, you obviously knew they weren’t going to be the ones to defeat Yhwach but I believe they Underestimated the Quincys DEEPLY and that had a lot to do with them losing
