It's kind or ironic that Kenpachi initially used his zanpakuto as a tool, and when he goes Bankai he becomes the tool of his zanpakuto
The idea that Kenpachi's zanpakuto is a pink happy child always made me confused but then it kinda hit me later on. As a child, she doesn't represent innocence but purity. Kenpachi is brutally honest, passionate about what HE wants, sometimes lost without someone to guide, and personally selfish like a child. Like oh okay. Makes more sense.
Kenpachi is so strong he basically nerfed himself.

This guy is hilarious, sometimes cringy, but that’s why he’s great, he just expresses himself openly talking about stuff he’s passionate about
The way I see it. Yachiru exist and can be seen because she's just that powerful. Since she's Kenpachi's zanpakuto, she just manifested herself because she got tired of being ignored.
I'll admit, I was just a little bit disappointed when he finally released his shikai that the command wasn't "Go play, Yachiru".

I think Kenpachi and Yachiru's relationship is more like Stark and lilynette. Yachiru is both the spirit of Nozarashi and a separate entity crated by Zaraki's huge reatsu.

She never referred to her Sword as a Zanpaktou, right? Im almost positive she always called it sword. Yachiru being Zarakis Zanpaktou feels like something kubo has planned from the start
I still wish that Zaraki's bankia was a "nullifier", and it's power simply negated all other powers. Zaraki just wants to brawl, so giving him the ability to remove all the crazy nonsense would fit him perfectly.

The fact that this guy is so powerful his sword manifested itself into a being and that being it self had its own sword and that sword had a shikai... bro that is OP
