Thanks Ralf! I like your videos and thanks for the video on how to repair the tachometer! Worked perfect and I ordered the 15 dollar version! Still have some ground issues on my left cluster the oil pressure gauge bounces a bit

Apparently the later Bendix uses the ATE cross spring plate. I replaced my front calipers to Bendix and the ATE pins fit. Weird

Over the years I noticed too that rebuilt cores that are supposed to include the hardware very often do not include the correct hardware in the first place.

@@straybenzes There's a post on Benzworld saying that the later Bendix calipers uses the ATE style hardware kit. And few others confirm that they have this on their Benz.

@@craftedwithart That could be. What makes this so hard to tell sometimes is that refurbished calipers come with a myriad of hardware components. I cannot tell you how many times I have gotten the incorrect parts. Fact is that the round wire hardware including the pad holding pins do not fit the caliper that is meant to have the sheet metal type springs and the other way around.

Will rear w123 calipers fit on w124. I know the rotors are more or less the same.

Good of #1 son to help you. Lol
You said it was 24 degrees. So why are you wearing a coat? Oh, did you mean Fahrenheit? Lol
Did you replace those brake hoses or were they fairly new?

The hoses were almost brand new.
