- DSP tells us the story of how he and Kat took Jasper to the vet on their Day Off, and how annoyed he is by the whole process. He whines about how he and Kat were treated differently by the staff than all the other people who brought their pets in, which I'm assuming is because they knew he was a Karen and were treating him as such. Then he bitches and complains about the vet offering bloodwork for Jasper, which he declines because "Jasper's not sick" and complains about how expensive the bloodwork is, then he goes on about how unprofessional the vet is, and how inconvenienced he and Kat were by this whole thing. The kicker? He has pet insurance and could have paid for Jasper's bloodwork with no issue.

When you have someone who never leaves their home and actually has to go outside and experience a regular day, the most regular shit to us normal people is world breaking news, trauma and just insanity for phil. He's the only person i know who can make a 5 minute story into a 30 minute episode filled with exaggeration and raging.
The man who actually regularly shows up to his own streams late (many times over 15 minutes when he doesn't even leave his house or have prep to do outside of turning on a console and a stream) is accusing a veterinarian who has a job with real consequences to prep and work around of coming in late because he had to wait a little bit.
This dude is so beyond human decency and its a dam good thing he didn't name the business because when he said "Why was the vet late, because that's the truth," and then made up a whole nonsense scenario where they were scrambling to fake professionalism; that's actually defamation. You know, the thing he whines about people allegedly doing to him all the time.
My dentist is often late by half an hour, and sometimes even a whole hour. Sometimes they themselves aren't even late; but rather they were dealing with a particular customer or two that required extensive service.
It's a pain, but it's understandably unavoidable. I do what any other adult would do: predict setbacks and schedule around that expected delay. It never ceases to amaze how hard Phil struggles with not being seen as the #1 priority in every situation.

As someone who has worked for a vet for a decent amount of time. Not all vets remember your pet's name, asking a vet "You work here and you don't know." Is just the epitome of disrespect and not knowing how things like this work.

Notice how Phil never looks to himself on why maybe he was being treated differently. Just from the hospital story he did about his ex gf tells me his previous visit to the vet was more likely nightmare for the staff, so they kept him the lobby to make sure the appointment went much smoother than Phil thinks is went.

Remember that this man is 41 years old. 41! This is what he considers news, worthy of a 20+ minute rant. When Jasper actually has a problem and is beyond help, this guy will have no one else to blame but himself. He’ll find a way to blame others.

Everytime DSP are in these situations and claim that he didn't get any information it means he sat there complient and didn't ask follow-up questions. He apparently sat there for 90 minutes like a good boy in detention and hoped someone would come up to him and explain the situation.
And don't forget Kat is apparently with him this whole time and as always she's portrayed as a 10 year old girl with no thoughts of her own.

Waiting for the incoming op where we find the vet and bombard them with positive reviews to counteract Phil’s bad one.
Phil, blood tests are necessary to see if Jasper is developing a disease or not and to check if everything is ok. You make $120k a year and you can't spend $300 for a blood test for your cat? You really don't care about your cat at all. If Jasper dies from a disease, he will 100% blame the veterinary and the doctor.
1. Vets may take pets to the back who are there for routine shots/exam. The other people may have had issues that needed more discussion, which is why they could go back.
2. There's a good chance one of the vets called in sick, and another vet had to rush to work to cover. He already doesn't believe the people in the front, so why is he taking their slip of the tongue that the vet is late as the absolute truth.
3. There's also a good chance that once he started his Karen bitch fit, they treated him like he should be treated.
4. Obviously, the most likely situation is he's making up or exaggerating everything anyways.
He is such a freaking Karen. Pets are seen just like how people are in a hospital. Phil doesn't know when those other people's times were. And Phil is the last person to talk about "someone showing up to work dressed right". He comes to his streams in PJ bottoms.
And it is good to have a complete physical for your pet every 2 years or so. Just to make sure to catch anything early. But Phil acts like it is the worst thing ever. The man with pet insurance that would pay for nearly all of it. I really love how Phil thinks that everyone he interacts with in the real world is so unprofessional and against him.
Try driving 4 hours there and back Phil to a vet where I have to go because they are the only ones who could a surgery for my pet she needed recently, and that I trust those people with anything. If Phil had to travel that far he would have exploded and ranted for hours against it.
His voice has been cracking more and more as of late. You can tell he's feeling a squeeze.
After seeing him flip out in the waiting room, they probably wanted to bring Jasper on privately to see if DSP beats him or not.
More than likely someone's pet had to have emergency surgery, or sadly had passed away, but I bet that didn't even cross his mind.

At my vet, when they take your pet but not you its because they have no confidence you will pay them. Where i live they keep your pet til you pay the vet bill up front if youve had issues paying in the past. So what does it say about DSP that other people are allowed with their pets but not him. Also Jasper DID have a traumatic experience. He got DECLAWED. He cant ever defend himself so imagine how much anxiety he has as a cat with no defense

The fact that Phil put More energy into his story, then his gaming stream said a lot.
1-It didnt sound like DSP scehduled an appointment for his pet, so of course other people who have their pets scheduled would take priority. This is just Karen shit. DSP puts himself above everyone else.
2-DSP whining about bloodwork his hilarious. He doesnt know that the purpose of bloodwork is to see if there are underlying issues with your pet, then the vet plans around the results. Its like hes never been to a doctors visit in his entire life.
3-Phil's focus on cost reminds me of the Leanna situation. Jasper could have been diagnosed with cancer, and Phil would jump straight to costs. He cares more about money than his own cat. If he loved Jasper the way he says he does, no price would be too great.
4-"The vet came back in 5 minites!" No shit, Phil, your cat bloodwork and two shots. You'll likely get a call later in the week concerning your cats health. Their not going to keep him for hours without knowing whats wrong with him, especially with other patients in waiting.
5-This is a repeat of the Leanna situation. He did not need to stream this. He didn't need this rant. He blew up a "loved" one's health issues on full blast in order to exonerated himself, and sounded like a massive Karen at the end of it. Howard was right. DSP has no love for anything other than money and himself. Even his beloved declawed pet is a monetary nuisance to him. What an uncaring, soulless man. No wonder hes hated by everyone, everywhere. Hes a terrible human being.

So much in this segment, I don't even know where to start.
It's good to do blood exams once in a while to see how your animal's health is doing. It shows kidney function, liver function, immune system, it can detect assymptomatic diseases. But it's funny to see that Philbert can drop 1k in sweaty Hogans in a single day, but can't spend 300 dollars on his son, Jasper kitty that goes to the vet once a year. It's very telling how he wants to project himself as this grown up who has a lot of responsability and love for his cat, but it doesn't seem like he gives a shit about him.
Also, I trully wonder how Dave and Kat function as human beings. He says they took Jasper and didn't let him in. He says they gave him his shots and didn't told him. He says they didn't explain the next time he had to go. Bruh, can't you just fuckin' ask them? It's like, he just likes to complain about shit. Imagine claiming you pet is like your child and then being greedy on routine blood work test for him. $350 is not that expensive for the test. I pay over $400 for my dog’s bloodwork pretty much every year bc his paws get infected due to allergies and we try and make sure no funny business is going on in his system. But I care about my dog, he is in fact like a child to me (i cannot have kids). I always think about his well-being first and money later.
And btw, cats don’t need rabies vax as much as dogs if the cat is an indoor pet. But they need anti-worm shots if they hunt critters inside the house. Ideally Jasper needs vet visits as least every 3-6 months to renew shots since, unlike dogs, cats don’t have any oral meds to take for it.
