- DSP starts off the stream by telling OIC that his personal issue isn't about money, yet after a stream where he only made $24 at the halfway mark, he decides to go on an unrecorded toxic rant about how much he hates playing AKI in Street Fighter 6 and that he will no longer do double Street Fighter days because the dents aren't forking over cash for his AKI gameplay.

It's not about money, but why do you constantly bring up your support is low? talk about the details of your bills, your expenses, your financial situation, your taxes? Theory; Khet broke it, fuming about DSP streaming on her birthday.

He specifically says that his situation cannot be alleviated with tips. I think that was one hell of a mask-off moment, because if I'm right about The Issue, that is true. Tips do not resolve what he is dealing with. Not to mention, if Phil was lying, he wouldn't have been able to resist the temptation to try implying that it would help.
He has also admitted that his bitch-fits during SF6 sessions are him venting about The Issue. Phil is being extremely not his usual toxic self, he is upset about something that has robbed him of the smugness he used to walk around with.
It's his installment agreement with the IRS. He owes too much to remain on a long-term plan, without much negotiation, and he learned something on Sunday night or Monday morning that means a huge L is coming. With his admission about tips not helping, that clinches it for me. He is being moved to a short-term plan, has 180 days to pay off his $50k debt, and so now officially has to quit playing Champions.
So this is what it looks like when someone takes that fucking game away from the big baby...
This is a possibility, and I've seen people mention that it is possible that his wife is divorcing him and Phil did not have her sign a prenub, so she is likely to get half of Phil's remaining assets that we did not lose over the bankruptcy.
yup you are spot on, this is overlooked way too much by others like Doody. If Phil deferred his taxes in April than October 16th is his new dead line. People also overlooked how beefed the IRS got under biden. The IRS promotes ratting on your neighbor and boy does Phil have a lot of people that want to rat on him.
@@amorasilverspark It's not a divorce, the sequence of events do not line up with one at all, and his marriage is not a banned subject, while his tax situation is. Plus, the dissolution of his marriage, would only have him angry, not upset, worried, and scared. He is too dumb to realize how much is at stake in a divorce, while negotiations over his installment agreement, would involve him being informed of a number of upsetting things. Besides that, I doubt that Kat would want anything other than a quick, clean break from the pigroach. If she is done with his shit, she is DONE.

You play street fighter for what... minimum 4 hours a week. Sometimes over 20 hours a week. You're still not any good at it. Forgot this 'professional' nonsense. No one is a professional computer game player. Tournament players have all lost in life. You can be better than all of them and not play in tournaments. Most people are. But Philip, you suck. Always have. Deal with it.
I play CS:GO for maybe an hour a week maximum. Consistently top or in the top 3 whether casual or ranked. My team rarely loses. That's because... I'm good. Better than most "professionals".
