I'm a retired pastor and I'm now building a 66 Mustang and a 64.5 Mustang and it's always a challenge to make after market parts fit. You're doing a good job and I love the work. God bless you and your work always!
Hi interesting as always. To have your spot weld cutters last longer, keep the speed below 300 rpm to keep the heat down on the cutting surface. It takes a little longer but they last longer.
My complaint with the aftermarket fender on my car was the upper part where it meets the A pillar, and door. The curve there is wrong. I plan on welding a bead on mine, and grinding to match where it meets the door.
Meery Christmas. Please pray for me my friend. I got health issues and am in the lords hands. I count each day as a blessing. I have a 65 project working with my 4 girls on. Hope to cruse with my wife in it this next summer health willing.

Brilliant.
I agree with everyone that aftermarket fenders are tough to fit, but they look good after.

This one is the same…
You need to get the aligned perfect first, then you can make all the adjustments in the qtr panel to line up perfect with the door.
Yeah it starts with the quarter.
