Hi pastor! I'm a retired pastor who also builds mustangs and love every minute of working on them. Even when pastoring, it was tremendously satisfying just to work on some of my church members classics and to see their faces brighten up. God bless you pastor, thumbs up to you!

That is the coolest. There are times that being in the shop is a real refresher for me. Grateful God gave me the ability to create. Thank you my friend.

Holding 2” on that template 😎 even with these eyes you could catch that. Fun vid

I know right. I'm too optimistic.

That is precision. Way too many times foreman on sight would ask “you are off a 1/16th, did you hold 1 or 2, or use a bent tab??” Learned a bunch during that early phase of life that would translate later in the air

I would personally add a roll cage, since most likely you wont be driving around with airbags. A roll cage with a 4 point harness is a must for safety. Then again, i plan on taking mine to the track. No back seats nessisary.

Yeah I’ve thought about it. At some point you want to get it going and every large detail adds so much time if your DIYing it.

Hey Scott, I have recently subscribed to your channel, I'm from Glasgow in Scotland. Would love it if you could send me the list of stuff you need to do the conversion. I've got my eye on a 1965 coupe, but I want to make it a 1967 fastback. Can't wait to see yours finished, it looks cool with they wheels on it 👍 take care

Hey Stephen, great hearing from you my family is from Methvin Scotland. The list can be downloaded from here: coupetofastback.gumroad.com/l/fjoxw it’s now a book with illustrations and tips. Here’s the rub, you can convert your 1965 coupe to a 1965 coupe fastback but for a 1967 you’ll need a 1967 coupe. 1964-66 I’d first gen, 67-68 second, 69-70 third. You need a coupe in the same generation as the fastback you want to build. Hope this helps. Also on Gumroad I have the parts list for the 1965 conversion.

Hey Scott thanks for your reply, could you tell me what the difference is between the first gen and second gen, are the body's not the same dimensions, cheers

@@stephensmith2983 They are not the same dimensions, first generation are smaller... different wheel base etc.
