One thing I think ur video lacks is more verbal sound effects. 😂 Good job on the pliers!!! I've used a flattened copper pipe to prevent blow-thru before. Still do!!! Great video!!! Waiting on the next.

Scott, love your content, you probably don't remember me but I commented on your measurement video a while back. I used the measurements you gave for your rear window and welded the the outer part of the window but the roof of my car. Something told me to get the window and try and test fit it before I weld the roof on and I been having issues with the window I think it's to small of a fit. bought the rear glass from CJ pony parts and they get the glass from a third part (Auto city glass) which is of of major manufacture for classic car glass. I am still doing some investigating on if your measurements is a little off or if the glass cut out is accurate. I don't want to seem like I'm pointing fingers here I love your videos and excited to see your videos when it come time to install the rear glass b.c right now Im stuck lol and have 30 days left to return the whole glass kit. please shoot me any advice!

Thank you first off! You should always test fit… there are variances in the windows but it shouldn’t be much. So is the window glass to large for the opening or the opening seem to large for the window? Are you test fitting with the gasket on the glass? Is your opening square?

@ScottHarness1 so at first I put the window on without the gasket and notice if I center the glass on all for corners it barly touches the lips all around. So I thought well let me put the gasket on it and maybe that will fill it up to the butt of the window all the way around but it doesn't. I still have about a 1/4 of inch all around. My question is...should the gasket fill all the way up to the butt of the window cut out? If it doesnt Does the rear window molding that you put on after the window is installed, cover the gap all the way around? Also Do you have the rear glass for your mustang? would love to know your rear glass measurements to make sure if they even cut mine the right size.

The trim should take up the gap but let me measure my glass… might be a tomorrow or so.

Great info on your fastback conversions. Do you plan on converting a '69 coupe to fastback? Seems like everyone does the '65-68's.

Maybe one day, the 69 still is an affordable fastback, that soon could change.

Would you care to do a video on the outrageousness of mustang coupe’s as far as pricing goes? because I want to buy a mustang coupe and convert it to a 67 Shelby, GT 500 fastback, (night, mist, blue, a.k.a. the blue lady ) but to get a piece of tin in the shape of a Coupe It’s like $20,000!….maybe not quite that much but it’s a lot. do you see the market going down any time soon?

Things have gotten expensive but if you put the time in and shop around you can find a deal from time to time. Stay alert, have cash on hand and be ready to go!

no need for it if you know how to weld and set your welder to the right settings but now you have a tool that you can use on the one and only car you will restore what a waste of time and ruining a good tool but made a good u-tube video oh another waste of time. get back to restoring to car focus on the car not a tool that you don't need and video for u-tube. hope this helps

Appreciate the input for sure. I’m moving slow these day and like adding other things in to keep me going. The tool actually is a huge help you’ll see in the next video. It makes the plug weld process (on some areas) super fast and the punch really tight. My next video is all sheet metal hanging and such. I promise.

Constructive criticism... man comes in good ways, and some just don't know how to communicate without being rude about it...

    • @rickyshouseofcrap8600

no just the truth hurts he needs to focus on the car not a tool he will only use once. i know what i'm talking about i have personally restored over 20 cars from a old '54 chevy truck, many mustangs including 3 shelbies and many corvettes. you people that got them participating trophy's get your feelings hurt to easy so i'm sorry for being honest and trying to help.

@rickyshouseofcrap8600 Man, maybe we don't have YOUR professional skill level, and dont have anyone to teach us or help us, and that's why we need whatever help we can get. And insulting others like u do doesn't hurt me one bit because we don't even know each other. U say u have built all these cars, sure bud, sure. All I was saying was that u came across as rude and now ur all mad and riled up... for nothing. If u don't have anything nice to say......
