At 28 years driving and making well over 100k a year I still figure out my daily or per load money. Right now I am running dedicated and home weekly but I still keep track of every load and the total pay on my notebook. Just makes good bookkeeping habits.
I remember trying to explain to people what a podcast was like 10 years before anybody knew what they were. I had my doubts for a long time that podcast would ever take off and be a thing.
John Graser at Drive 4 Walmart and Philip Delk at Right Lane Trucking are good channels also.I have listened to the guys you have mentioned and they are good sources of info.Walmart may be the best trucking job out their. It can be hard to no.Because you don’t no what drivers are comparing there Walmart experience to.I left a great company once for a company that everyone there said it was like eating steak. What they had was good but it was hotdogs they just didn’t no any betterI may have higher or unrealistic standards but It is because of my experience with 2 great companies I have worked at.I have heard some good things about Walmart. Thanks for sharing.
I came from a food grade tanker trucking company and they treated me great. I had a brand new truck a couple of times and was treated with a lot of respect but unfortunately I don't think I ever made over 38,000 a year working there. Not to mention having time off was pretty rare. The vice president of that company told me they couldn't compete with the Walmart DC down the road. That's when a light bulb went off inside my head.
I think Florida might be hard to get into but you just got to keep an eye on the listings and wait for something to come up. Good luck let me know if anything comes up.

Hi my friend. I’m currently working for jbhunt and got a few years under my belt. I’m from Michigan and recently applied for the driver opportunity in coldwater mi. It’s going on week 2 and haven’t seen much action. I’m just wondering if it would be better to just go the referral route. Thanks for the video update. I did subscribe and I will continue to follow. Thanks
I've been told that if you put a referral name in people are getting phone calls within a week instead of a month or more. If you want to give it a try use my name Donald Smith DC 6826 Red Bluff California employee number 14609. Let me know if that makes a difference thanks for watching

I ❤️ driving for Walmart, but with this influx of drivers they’ve been hiring the slip seating is getting tough. These trucks are disgracefully dirty and management seems to not care.
I haven't seen too many bad trucks but I guess it depends on how much of a perfectionist you are on cleanliness. I have my own truck so I haven't dealt with this in a long time.

You are waisted your time being a truck driver. My brother doing Uber 50-60 hours week and bringing home $1500-$1700 per week. He work whenever he want and take off whenever he want.
Sounds like you'd have to live near a city to do a job like that. I can never do that. That would totally suck living in the city. I live in the high mountains and there aren't any Ubers anywhere near me whatsoever. Besides that doesn't sound like much fun at all driving some tiny little car. I'd much rather have 18 Wheels.

Great video, gave me a lot peaceful information when it comes to how Walmart pays
I'm sure it's a lot to take in for new people but all that really matters is I get the right amount all total over the entire year.

The fact that WM taxes their own bonuses 40% will not motivate anyone... the federal flat rate is 22%
I agree but it's such a small part it really doesn't matter. Most companies you wouldn't even get a bonus anyway.

If you’re asking about Walmart pay it’s by the mile and the hour and by activity so it’s a little hard to explain.
Is it local or over the road???
