Here in California we drive with a range 600 miles away from our DC. 2500 average miles per week. Hurricane Utah DC 6029 those guys you’ll see them anywhere form as far west Oregon to as far east to Kansas, nobody beats them across Walmart private fleet!!!
Yes, but ain’t happening in the first couple of months, mine is $476 since I was working on my day off few hours ago. And is not about miles, the activity is what makes a lot of the difference, yesterday I went from apple valley to San Diego but I did stops at the venders here and there, and make $445 that day, as simple as that.
@@artfromcalifornia104 It seems like you were busy all day to get those $445.... how many hours if you don't mind to tell me? the reason Im asking is because I do have a pretty decent job, I make $435 avg on local deliveries, home every day, weekends off, but I drive 50 miles from home to our yard ( 100 round trip ) and Im gerrymandering tired of that.... Apple Valley is closer 15 miles maybe, and I was or willing to sacrifice my daily home time and weekends off, but I want to make sure I will be getting the same pay before I make my decision
Texas is not good you wait 5 hours for that load? Here in the east coast Walmart drivers we never wait a minute. Always the loads are ready on the vendors
I’ve heard walmart slip seats their sleeper trucks, is that true? I’m currently @ jb hunt out of haslet, i actually saw your videos about jb while i was otr and you helped me figure out what to do. I want to come to walmart eventually but I’d rather not slip seat a sleeper
@@46erbfumeI see some guys posting their pays, for example one guy makes between $2,500 - $2,800 every two weeks... I was like, nah..that's not what they advertised.....$110,000 !?
Congrats on walmart job...many say this is the job u retire from...really good pay really good benefits....21-24 paid days off a year .. flexible schedules..best combo of otr and family life u can get ..whyd u decide to leave jb hunt anyway..u were so happy there?
Thank you! Yes I was happy at JB and it really worked for us at the time based on our needs as a family but I left because we wanted to make some changes as a family in our goals and Walmart is what was going to help us with that and I’m glad I switched because so far so good.
Great video showing your routine and what it is like to work at Walmart. I currently drive hazmat/tanker (fuel/bio fuels) and am home daily.

What is your ADP driver? can you still make $400 ADP with those 2,500 miles per week? I probably will be working out of the Apple Valley DC
