These video ls are so informative. Mr back is also so attentive with the comments. He's answered every question asked in these comments.
Just what a man. He's really out to help people be as good as him.
Well.... LoL. That's a hard goal to achieve lol

I would like your opinion why Tikarilla is best for spraying?
Have you already done a video on different products / thinning wise.
Today I used Dulux MDF primer undercoat thinned by about 30%. I thought I was clogging the machine with it but I think it was because I created a vacuum leaving the gray pot sealer on.
@@worthingdecorating8506 DM'd you
Thanks! Greetings Holland
Welcome!
Fantastic video phil. Other videos on the quickshot pointed out that the gun leaks paint ever so slightly while spraying. Did this happen to you?
Can't say I noticed. If it's around the guard.. tighten it a bit more.
I was using my Guard and tips though
@@ProfessionalPainterDecorator thank you for the tip and also for the time you take to make these videos. 💯
Thanks
No problem
I’m curious about the pump armor. Do you use it every time? And how much of it did you use?
I love your sticker on your pot. Do you sell those? lol. Sometimes I spray…. Sometimes i brush… sometimes I roll.
Which sticker?
Besides putting a plastic bag over the machine for over spray .what can I put on my gun to stop over spray? Cleanup..thx
you won't get a lot of overspray with this mashine, setiing 5 is plenty of power on most paints.
sparying water based paints you can clean with warm water, if you still have some suick on, use some Meths.
Pricewise it's in the Fuji professional HVLP range. I go Fuji with the electrical cord although cordless would be nice.
Hvlp or Airless..... Two different srayers though.
@@ProfessionalPainterDecorator
I know, I have 3 airless all with wheels for 5 gal paint buckets including an old Binks setup. The only airless (HVLP hybrid) I trust for fine finish was the old Milwaukee M4910-20.
Just to clarify Phil you put a bit of vaseline around the screw thread for tip guard and around the inside thread of plastic lid ? Was there anywhere else ? Also i left an egg cupful of pump armour in the bottom of the pot should i wipe that out or is that ok left in there ?
On this Quick Shot there's only those threads. I also did some on the clip that holds the white pot in place, just to make it easier to slide into place
Yes.. keep a bit of pump armour in the bottom once flushed through on prime and spray.
You'll flush it out with clean water next time before you put paint in.
Hi mate, how would you deal with flaking gloss paint? Would you remove all of it and then just restart the process or is there a way around repairing glosswork? P.S it’s oil based but I want to have a water based finish
I had thisthe other week, I removed as much as I could, mira sanding and a blade. then used 2x Aqua BIN.
video out in a few weeks.
So do you always leave a small amount of pump armour inside the sprayer when not in use? Especially if your not using it for long periods? Thanks
Just enough to be worked across the pump. Then when you come to use next time.. flush some clean water through before your paint.
Question is how long will it last, the Graco ultra was terrible
Who knows.... Keep hold of your receipt... Just in case lol
I think it'll be better than the ultra
What happen when you put Shelac (bin primer if you have that pump cleaner inside ) you know what I mind water and Shelac
what do you mean?
The cleaner/Thinner for Zinsser BIN (red can) is Meths, NOT water.
@@ProfessionalPainterDecorator If you've used water-based paint and now need to switch to shellac primer with the same spray gun, it's crucial to ensure the gun is completely dry. Even after cleaning, some water residue may remain, which could affect the primer's performance. We need to Ensuring the gun is free of water residue will prevent any issues when applying the shellac primer, ensuring a smooth and effective application.
@@alexandrucristian6160 so what you do is clean the wb out with water, once thats all out, flush some meths through it, then put you shellac based product in it.
So how often do you use your machine . I am very anal about my equipment .I like it looking new for as long as I can. I paid for it. I use it , I clean it .I have been using for years a hopper on my 395. Now I can use quart or liter of paint.
as and when i can. not all the time, but not every job warrants a sprayer on it
How much is this machine
About £1100
@@ProfessionalPainterDecorator wow that's steep can you do a video on painting interior emulsion with a erbauer sprayer 600
@kaler329 send him the money to buy one and I'm sure he'd be delighted to do you a video! 😅
Anyone who buys this sprayer is going to know how to clean sprayers out, bit pointless this video phil
Let's hope so
still good to see how its done, hope Phil shows a vid how to prime and clean the gxff
Not really i bought one a while back and wasn't entirely sure .
@@johnforster1963 LoL tnx... Think I'd done one of those already
