Never put your hand in front of the gun. Without a tip it’s safe but if you forget and have the tip installed it can inject the paint or dirty water into your hand. Most airless sprayer operate at 2000-3000 psi. Extremely dangerous and every professional painter knows not to do this.

Love the QuickShot. But the design is horrible for cleaning. Priming back into the cup is a complete fail.
