    I have been using Nano well over 10 yrs. Goes on clear like water. With no film. Super easy. Must have if you have a dark color. I think I am going to stay with it. But I am always looking for better. That's what I am doing here. Great video. 👍👍👍

    The Griot's has worked awesome for me. My go to combo has been P&S playmaker followed with Griot's polywax then topped with the Ceramic 3 in 1 then maintained and topped with Beadmaker. Absolutely awesome combo..

    I think the original Turtle Wax seal & shine with beadmaker will be the outstanding combination. They are both polymers sealants so they will work good together. Seal & shine as the base coat, beadmaker as your topper.

      Not even on the same playing field. Beadmaker is good but no longevity

    Eagle One's Nanowax has been a spray wax for many years, just in a different bottle. "Nano" is the particle size which is much smaller than a typical size wax particle.

  • @monroemidnight9372

    I think a big thing with your applications is the wipe in. A lot of products take a huge hit from the amount of product applied and being scrubbed in, versus a scenario of overspray being rinsed off or unnoticed. Try doing a spray wax or spray sealant/ceramic video the style in which you did the fusso coat vs 845 video. Would be interesting to put your mentioned theory to the test

    Man, Eagle One Wipe And Shine is absolutely incredible. It’s the only product to stand up to Turtle Wax Seal And Shine durability wise whilst ALSO increasing the gloss reading (unlike the TW S&S). I have the new ceramic line from TW, but the Eagle One is still better (and cheaper too). 😉

      Poorboy's World Stripper Wash or McKees 37 Coating Prep Wash is a couple of ones that does good with a couple of rounds on freshly applyied LSPs. With the LSP on it's last legs it's usually not that hard to get them off. And agree on the Tac System Paint Cleanser looks promising as well. With it's very fine abrasives in it it gets some extra work to knock down the LSPs.
      But if you have something left and want to get the paint completly bare. A fine finishing polish step with just 1-2 passes per sections and work a little larger sections than you normaly do. This can go pretty fast to get it done I think. This is on very durable and chemical resistant LSPs. Also it's depending on the chemical build up of the LSP. It's usually weak for one or the other of strong acids or alkaline or solvents. Try with these different kind of chemicals and you can find what just the LSP you use it's weak for. Then it's also much about how aggressive they are on the paint but also on the plastic trim and rubber seals and bare metalls if you that. A ceramic coating can be knocked down with a strong solvent like paint reducer. But if you use it careless you can damage the paint easly with those strong solvents. It's doable though and you can search it up on the Car Craft Auto Detailing Channel if you want to see a great ceramic coating like CQUK gets stripped chemically. Now I would not do so and just use a polish and polisher. Meguiars non acid wheel cleaner is very high alkaline based product that is very aggressive on those that are sensitive for those which many are. Meguiars Wheel Brightener D140 is not that bad when it comes to the ph level and think there are more acid based wheel cleaners that are stronger. The acid based wheel cleaner TRC used to desolve water spots I think wheer down to ph 1-2 while D140 is ph 4.5 as it's lowest. Many spray waxes and QDs is lower in the ph level. Like Duragloss Aquawax has a ph level around ph 4. There you would ad protection also LOL but just a fun detail to know. It's just to find it's weak spot chemical and a couple of rounds and you are done.

    Another interesting comparison. Ive been trying out some of the products you’ve reviewed here in Australia and am finding slightly different results. Some products are deteriorating after just a normal car wash 2 weeks after application (pressure spray/ foam canon/ 2 bucket wash/ rinse/ dry). Maybe its the detergents or method but in real world terms, this is as much “torture” as the average joe would put the products through. Can you please add a normal wash cycle in your torture test to see how things should fair for the average consumer. TIA

    What's your time worth??? That's a valid question. I just yesterday put one coat of the griots on my massive truck, f350 dually. I will do one more coat tonight. It takes about an hour each coat to do the truck because a lot of it has to be done off a ladder. Ease of application for the Griots is the easiest wax I've ever used. Goes on easy, comes off easy. I thought that $20 for the bottle of Griots was pricey but I only used 2 ounces to do the first coat. So 4 ounces to do 2 coats. I can do the truck 5 times with 2 coats. That's a deal. Then take into account the ease of application and durability...it's a no brainer. And the gloss is spectacular.

I just tried the Griots as a top coat on a ceramic coated black car and it left streaks (or high spots) that were very difficult to remove. I’ll try again and make sure I don’t use too much product,......but has anyone else have streaking issues with Griot product on a black car??

    What is the difference between the blower you are using and a leaf blower. Also what kind of bleach bright are you using? I googled it and come up with teeth whitening. lol Is that your secret? haha

    • @andyhedin4893
      @andyhedin4893 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The blowers generally have a filter on them, so the air coming out is filtered, to some extent. They also heat the air up a bit, which is a plus in my opinion. The tips on the blowers are usually soft rubber (versus hard plastic on a leaf blower), so they are more finish-friendly if you accidentally bump into the paint.

      I think it's called SPS Graphene Coating in the US and Art deShine in the UK. There are some members that have gotten to play around with them on the Autopia forum. If you are interested in the real world use. They are coming up over 6-8 months. And the initial extreme high slickness from has dropped. But otherwise it's performance from it seems really great. And just wait until the chemists gets the carriers dialed in so we get more graphene on the paint. Also the protection product that you can combine in the the coating when they find something better than the PDMS they have now. It's going to be very interesting to see how it gets the coming years with the graphene developing in coatings.

    What is your opinion? I care about your opinion, not watching you do torcher tests. Speed through those parts and cut your video length by tins. It will be much nicer to not hear you mispronounce Griot’s. It’s Gree ohs. Drop the T. It makes you less credible when you mispronounce that name.
