    Great product review for a great product! Put it on my 2013 Infiniti G37 and the car has never been glossier. The hydrophobic qualities with this stuff are amazing. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have never thought of picking this stuff to try out...but then I saw your video. I value your honesty in these reviews, and when you were “blown away” with everything from the application to the results, that sealed the deal for me. Appreciate all that you do making these videos! And as a retired military veteran, I really appreciate you showing pride in America by flying Old Glory! Keep up the great work!

    That Griot's Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax sure did a great job! It reminds me of the Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Quick Detail Spray. Did you try that one Brian? How does it stack up to the Griot's in your opinion?

      I found your page because of Pan The Organizer. He is doing a ridiculous 24 product test on one car and Griot’s 3 in 1 absolutely shocked me so I’ve been watching other videos on this stuff and I am amazed. Based on your experience, early results in Pan’s test and 6 month’s into Scott H’s test, this stuff is legit!

    I'm glad that it's working out so good for you! When I used it on my dark gray car I felt that it collected dust quicker. Of course it comes off with a wash but it just seemed to collect it faster (and heavier). With the construction on your road did you notice any affects like that?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing

    Brain, one of the things I like most about your channel is you always follow update on the products you use. The Griot's 3 in 1 us very impressive especially seeing it hold up on the roof and hood. For you road tripping to Tennessee. You hardly had any bugs a testament to the 3 in 1, and what did stick came off with no effort. I'm going to have to give the Griot's Car Wash try, I like that it has more gloss enhancers or wax.

    As to that road, tar and gravel is chip-sealed or Cheap-Sealed by you road taxes. On a bicycle it is a real drag on the legs, not like a great smooth asphalt surface. As to GG new 3-n-1, really good and well priced.

    Welcome to the country, had that for many years in the past it’s called tar and chipped. The alternative we had before that was straight gravel, actually a lot of rain after tar and chipped is done is the best for washing road. The 3n1 is simply amazing I’ve got 3 bottles of it and on 2nd one already.

    Hey Brian! Question for ya. I live in the pacific northwest and dont have a garage. Griots claims its best for this product to cure for 12 to 24 hours for max durability. That just isnt possible for me. I can apply and keep it dry for about 8 hours until the fog rolls in. What kind of longevity should i expect to see without proper dry cure times?

    I've been using Fusso topped with BSD on a regular basis. The 3 in 1 seems to be a fine competition but nothing I've seen is as hydrophobic as the Fussl+BSD combo. It's a great barrier against contamination. I think this is a point being missed on longevity tests. So the LSP resists water and chemicals, how about contamination? After 18 months of using my combo on a daily driver in England the car had tiny amounts of fall-out and did not need claying before polishing the car. That's what really matters to me.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      JWL You are right and that also matters. Time will tell how well this protects against contaminants but seeing how the bugs didn’t stick I think it might do a great job.

      @@FABAutomotiveDetailing thanks for replying mate! Hope you and your family are well and in good spirits despite the challenging times! My favourite "hack" for the ultimate interior class cleaning is Adam's Brilliant Glaze. That stuff cuts through layers of grime and contaminants in one go and makes subsequent cleaning very easy. My go-to glass cleaner used to be Stoner then I tried Gyeon Prep and it's freaking awesome!
      I wish you did a video on how to do a light restoration/uplifting on aged leather seats. I bought me a 2008 Audi TT with cream leather last month to be my second car. The seats were in decent condition but very very dry and with some light cracks, wear marks and imperfections. Cleaning and nurturing really helped but this weekend I tried the inexpensive Doctor Scratch's Colour Restore Balm and it's an unbelievably good product. Products are made in the UK and they offer tons of colours that match the OEM leather colours. Really worth a look and this could be a great theme to explore. Take care.

    I was wanting to try a ceramic product. I happened to see a bottle of Griot's 3 in 1 at Advance and said "What the hell." I ahve always tried to keep my vehicles looking nice and always waxed them. My go-to wax was Formula 1 paste wax. I get it cheap through work and it was easy on and off. I should have stripped that all off but I was too anxious to put it on my Barcelona Red '17 Toyota 4Runner. after doing a little test section. Holy crap does this stuff ever make things shine! After a coupe months in Michigan of many rain (and even snow) days, 3 trips through the local drive-thru was, it still beads off like crazy. I love how you can not worry about it hazing black trim but it enhances it! I used it on the glass too. It seems to have worn off that some but still does good.
    I had it on my workbench when I started messing with some older Hot Wheels cars (I am a collector). Another "What the hell" moment. I was amazed at what it did to old and new ones!
    This is an amazing product. I am a big user of 303 Products and I see they have released a ceramic-based coating too. I love their protectants nad other interior care products. I will probably be checking that product out in the Spring.

    I couldn't agree more! I applied this to a brand-new car a few months ago and it has been holding up phenomenally well.
    The car got really really dirty when my neighbor's roof gutter blew off during a storm and spewed muddy water all over my white car. It really looked like I had been off roading. About three days later it rained and the next morning the car looked like I had washed it, that's how clean it was!
    Griots said you can apply a light topcoat after each wash or two. Since it goes on and off pretty much like a detail spray, I do it routinely. It's so easy.

      It can be used as a standalone so yes. It can also be used as a topper to coatings.

    I did my truck approximately two months ago with this same product. I've also found that two months later, it still holds up pretty well on the doors and the sides of the vehicle, but the hood seems to be lacking a little bit. Best thing to do is to use a detail spray to help keep it boosted between applications.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      mills271 I have noticed that also. I would use a topper but when doing a durability test on a single product I can’t do that otherwise it messes with the results.

    I tried it on my new ram 1500. I live in AZ where is very hot in summer. I applied in Aprile. Did may be 4 car washes. In June I have noticed it was fading. And probably 30-40 % gone. after that then went on vacation. Came back in the beginning of the August and product completely gone. I would say for me it lasted about 2 -3 month. I just wanted to try until it dies completely and I did🙂. I would suggest probably reapply after 2 month. After that it will start fading. And of course ot depends where you live and where car parked. My was parked outside whole summer. This is reason why it's fading faster

      You can’t just wash it and apply another coating of it though. I mean, you could, but how well is that going to hold up, when you don’t properly prep the surface again? If you don’t mind applying it every month or two then I suppose that’s fine 🤷‍♂️
