19:11 Thank you for the shout out old lad! Was sooooo lovely to meet up with you both, oh and thank you for leaving your amazing guide on our 'Ellie', thankfully Dani remembered our names, terrible memory Chris. At least you never shamed Mark with the SPEEDOS, 😂😂😂 Ooops did i just say that out loud. Hope to catch up with you both again soon 😜🤪 xx Lisa & Mark xx
16:40 That tree would make a fantastic photo in the autumn, with the golden leaves, the burn leading up to the falls and a lovely bit of morning light. Or evening; I'm a lazy bugger!
@@ChrisSloanesthe east coast may be scenically less stunning than the west, BUT it has its own charms for those prepared to look further than the road. Like beaches, waterfalls, lochs, castles, boat trips, harbours, musuems, quaint villages, coastal walks etc🏴🏴😎👍🏴🏴🏴
Another awesome video. I loved that jump onto the beach by the extending rope thingy. Looks like that would be epic. There’s some amazing scenery. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Great vid Chris ,agree with you 100%. I did it 2 years ago and wouldn’t do it again there’s a lot in the NC500 book that’s a waste of time and too busy!! I’d take an unknown road that would lead to an awesome beach & scenery .Gunna get a copy of your book just to see how good you’ve made the route .
Was at Sango sand a few weeks back and that area it’s fantastic there great campsite 👌the view is epic from site. Just received my ultimate Scottish road trip book yesterday thanks Chris great book and can’t wait to get away on next adventure.
Your correct about the roads are not made for campers, I’ve been going to Achmelvic for 30 years, I cycle the coastal rd from Achmelvic via inchnadamph and over to kylesku and onto clchtol , stunning roads, you missed out on the coastal rd from lochinver via stac pollaidh hill , again not for campers, take a bike next time.
Ha ha, you got a few books to promote 😂 class ending .. for me, I live 40 mins north of Inverness. There is a lot more on the East Coast. You just gotta know where to go.. clachtoll, by the way, .. don't say the ch it becomes almost similar, sounding as a k say it in a Scottish accent you will get what I mean 😂😂 great content though.. also look into covering the morayshire coast and the whisky trail feel free to get intouch will punt you in the right direction
Hi Chris, Great video as usual. We are actually heading up to do the west side of the NC500 on Friday morning! I'd love to get a copy of your new guid but probably not time for the post. I don't live far from you. Any chance I could pick up a copy from you tomorrow? Or do you have an ebook version or even just a PDF. Not sure how to DM you. Graham
@@ChrisSloanes Thanks for the reply. I'm looking at doing the NC500 next year and buying a drone to catch some of the action. I've only been looking for one with Follow me. Is it not essential to have that feature?
Nah not really, follow me is great but thats only if you cant use use it while your doing whatever. Even with follow me as you walk, chances are you will still be holding the controller anyway, you aint going to pack it away in a bag while you walk otherwise you will accidentally press buttons. Its great but certainly not essential.
I love it when you rant and moan about places🤣🤣🤣. But what is it with people when they reverse into a passing place but decide the opposite side of the road was a good idea🤬wtf is wrong with people😂. It looks like you lucked out with the weather on this trip.
The people who live and work in the area, and who are demented by the effect the promotion of this route is having on their lives will live you for this. Not.

Hi Graham, drop me an email it’s chris@sloanesmedia.com and we can sort something out
Can I ask Chris, what drone did you use on this video, and were you using the 'Follow Me' function?
Hi, i use the DJI Mini 3 Pro, sometimes i use follow me but that depends. Often i have my wife driving and i will fly the drone.
