- The restoration of a Corgi (No.324) Ferrari 250 Le Mans including a reproduction box.
This one proved very difficult at assembly. The original model had gaps between the body and base which I wanted to get rid of but struggled to do so.
The outcomes don’t always meet your hopes and aspirations.
I hope you enjoy the video. #restoration #corgi #corgitoys #diecast #restoration
Nice job and results are fantastic! Love the glossy red and decals good resto 🚘
Thank you Mick. Glad you enjoyed it. Next week it’s a Fiat X19 or a Peterbilt truck. Hope you will like those.
Great job Andy 👍🏻
Thank you Mark 👍
@@andysgaragediecastrestorations you're welcome 😊

Thank you JC much appreciated your support is. 👍
Outstanding restoration Andy, nice set of decals and box work 👍
Thank you very much Martin.👍
Nice restoration, details and paint job 👌 👍
Thank you Joe. Much appreciated 👍
I think that's pretty neat, Andy: those Corgis never were a tight fit, and you'd have been hard pressed to get anything better without seriously fiddling with the casting. The finish on the paint is lovely and the interior is SO much better without the chrome. Nice, simple detailing, not too heavy, makes the model! Good job, Sir!
Thank you Fraser much appreciated 👍
Excellent restoration andy great paint and details. The box looks very good well done mate 👏
Thank you very much Luke. 👍
Nice Job Andy
Thank you John. Very much appreciated, tough going on the assembly part. When the weather is good I may even re resto it because my aspirations were so much higher for it.
Turned out nice good detail on it
Thank you Dean. Much appreciated.Caused a few problems this one did.
Came up a treat,well done😊😊😊😊
Thank you Mick. A much appreciated comment from Dublin.👍
I have one in slightly better condition. I am not sure if you have given me confidence to restore it. But would like to try. How did you fix the exhaust? Mine are missing! Thanks
Fantastic result!
Thank you. It was tough going at times. 👍
All worth it!@@andysgaragediecastrestorations
Noice mate cheers Graham
Thank you Graham 👍
My all time favourite, 250 LM. I had one of these when I were a nipper, must've been about 10.
It is a lovely shape. I put it under n my Tik Tok channel with a Ferrari V12 sound track😀
I had the same problem.
It really peed me off. I still keep thinking of going back and doing it again but filling the gaps and hand painting that bit. So annoying. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍 much appreciated
🤗👍👌👏
Thank you.👍
@@andysgaragediecastrestorations welcome dear Andy 👍
Nice resto. Would be nice with correct decals,no 250LM carried a number 4.The '65 LM winner had a number 21.
I put 4 on because of the model had it. When I redo it. I will redo it with the 65 livery and number👍 I’m not happy with the gap between the base and body at all
Yes,that gap is annoying.i have a similar one and the gap is pronounced.I also have 2 other 250 LM's,1 in 1/24th which is unmarked but I shall finish it in the 65 winners colours.I also have a 1/18th yellow 250LM,finished as race worn 2nd place car, also from the 65 race.
@@terrybeechener5992 if you need any decals for those 1/24ths let me know and I can do them👍
Thanks Andy.
