Nice job Andy, a friend of mine had they one mid 1970s it was like a tank to drone.
Yeah those old cars were made to last. I’m guessing no power steering to. Thanks for watching and commenting
Looks the bizzo! Sweet detailing! 2.2 litre four in a car that size... how things in the real world changed!
Very satisfying to do. Thanks for watching 👍
Great job Andy 👍🏻
Thank you Mark. Much appreciated 👍
@@andysgaragediecastrestorations you're welcome 😊
Nice restoration, details and paint job 👌 👍
Thank you Joe. Very much appreciated 👍
Great job Andy
Thank you Paul 👍
A lovely restoration Andy, the Humber turned out very nicely. 👍
I too don't like piening over the ends of the axles. Timo recently posted a video showing how to make new axles using thin wall tube with tiny nails glued in each end. It looked almost like the original - I think I'm gonna try it out soon. All the best mate.
Cheers Richard. I’m getting better and quicker at doing the axles. I did get some 3mm headed 1mm furniture pins to use as rivets. They would be ideal. I’ve not used them yet in a video.
All I can say is snap. Nice outcome Andy. My video is out next Friday while we are in the DMC Tavern. These didn't have interiors as you'll see in my video Cheers Michael
Hi Michael. Some pictures I saw had an interior with two policemen. The standard saloon had nothing though. At the end of the day it is another one rescued. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍
The civilian version did not have an interior but the police version did, with two cops inside.
Hi Andy! Great job, congratulations 👏

Greetings from Canada, Andy. That looks alright, that does. Rather sharp! When I was a young-un, there was a movie called The Adventures of PC 49 and books we got from the library of the same title. I've got one of these Dinkys to restore. I'll give it to my brother, who is a retired copper. Hopefully mine will turn out as nice as yours.
There is a lot more of to pleasure and satisfaction from doing this model. If you want the template for the box and decals I can email them to you. No problem. The box is printed on 220gsm card.
@@andysgaragediecastrestorations Thanks for the generous offer. I have the decals already and a template for the box. I just have to get the right weight of card stock.
Humbertastic Hawk.
😂thank you John .👍
Seeing it in grey looks very much like the '55 Tri Chevvy. Ever seen "Two lane blacktop"?
No I have not seen that. I will look out for it.
