Just wondering how you are liking the Hornet..any issues?..just bought the same exact car this past Saturday.
The 1984 crx got 36 city and 45 highway on a carbureted motor. I don’t understand why cars are getting worse mpg today than 39 years ago
There are cars that get 50+mpg so it's definitely gotten better. We just don't take interest into other brands
I had my hood wrapped in satin black to break up the gold. It really looks sick. I had a red Charger Scat with a satin black hood and it was on point as well. It really brings the color out

The dodge hornet is a cheaper Alfa Romeo. Only thing Dodge about this vehicle is the name written on it. Another one of Stellantis vehicles made by Fiat is the Jeep Renegade. Both the Jeep Renegade and Dodge Hornet are made in Europe. Jeep in a Fiat factory and the Dodge in and Alfa Romeo factory. Between the Hornet and the Renegade, the Hornet is definitely the better vehicle. Alfa Romeo quality is sketchy with some of their vehicles. Hopefully you have a good warranty. You will need it.
It's pretty nice tho! We had a jeep compass and that thing was lacking some stuff and the hornet has everything we were missing in the compass, we love it!

I think dodge did a really great job on this new addition to their lineup,it does look really good,to bad they didn't do a SRT model,but congrats,and I truly am thankful that a family on TH-cam buys a normal price range car that most people can afford,not some crazy supercar,congrats to you both,and amazing color

@@hisherhemi no no no I’m a fan of you! It’s my dream to FIX Chrysler reputation by interviewing people LIKE YOU who have had Chryslers for years and put the milage on them! I was just floored by the fact this engine is turbo/ boosted and way way higher tech than the average engine so I felt it was essential to do the break in period since you have to many areas that can be troublesome in a direct injection turbo engine. That’s all. I absolutely love y’all and am HAPPY. HAPPY af That y’all got a hornet along side your current dodge cars. You’re REAL dodge fan that embraces the good. The rest are chargers challenger Durango VS hornet when it’s supposed to be their a FAMILY. You include hornet in the FMAILY so you’re good with me always. I actually want to keep you noted in my interview list once the channel is up. Would you be interested in a zoom or in person interview about the experience you’ve had with Chrysler vehicles ?

@nathanielrudolph8771 lol oh sorry. Used to everyone trying to hate on the Hornet on the internet 😅 but the break in period on the Hornet was only 300 miles. Granted that doesn't mean it's fully broken in, but hey we gotta start somewhere right? Ig 3 months would be a good starting point but the AWD and turbo are so much fun to play with. Definitely quicker than the r/t off the line

@@hisherhemi it's pretty fancy for the price point of this car. I've let the car drive itself a few times on long road trips. It's cool as heck to watch the car take some aggressive curves at 80mph. It's worth every penny

@hisherhemi my normal color is black but I couldn't pass this one up. Let the haters hate, but I get stopped every day with folks asking about the paint and what car this is. All I hear is it's a beautiful vehicle, it looks like a Porsche, and man that looks awesome in person. I've also ran across a few Charger and Challenger owners on the road who were shocked at how aggressive it can be on the road. The Hornet GT is an awesome machine. It won't be long before this version of the Hornet is discovered as a very capable sport CUV. Just wait for those Dodge stage kits to drop. 💯
