I am a 'new starter' to your channel and I adore it. I could listen to your voice forever and your lovely, easy going way of creating is just fab. I am really into making and filling journals now but it's often difficult to know where to go and how to use the stuff I have. I, too, invested in the calligraphy/rice paper from Amazon and have done a few things with it, inspired by Nina Ribena, another favourite of mine, and this video gave me the shove I needed to paint and make marks on it, too. @@KariGibsonArt I know; I love small bits framing my focal piece and it always drives me crazy how long it takes me to decide on the pieces to use. With this method, I can even keep the colors in line with what I need to make the page work and already have a composite piece that I have pre-decided works together. I've been crafting away on these since I saw this video!!

ok, I usually slap the pieces down on the page. I need to try putting on a separate paper and scanning. Do you know if this would work on glassine paper. It is lite weight and I use it as under paper when gel printing. thank you for sharing.
the house numbering on this street makes no sense so we have numbers on the garage, the back and front door, plus the back and front gate and we still get people wondering what house number we are lol
LOL, that is crazy! The street I live on, suddenly changes name in the middle and I quite often get post for no.89 on that part of the street and vice-versa! 😂

We use to get for a different house number but their name was the exact same as johns lol so any orders are made with my name instead 😝
