Harley Trike - Wobbles / Shimmy's

In this video I take a Harley Davidson Trike for a short test ride to diagnose a wobble / shimmy between 50-60 mph......I found the issue, but not before I needed to request assistance. Surprised by all the nice folks offering a helping hand. A special thanks to the fellow rider who helped trailer this unit home!

Thanks! It is a Frankenstein conversion kit. I really like the open rear with fenders only over the tires. I'll let the owner know! Thanks for watching and sharing👍😁

someone please tell me why it is that back in the 80s they outlawed the sale of 3 wheekers due to them being unstable and dangerous killing a whole genre of machines in the motorcycle industry.... yet
Harley puts street tires on a trike they put a dress on a pig and painted it all perty with dumb shiney bits everywhere and WALLAH!!!!! suddenly theyre not dangerous and they are allowed to sell them in dealerships.....???
sooooooo theyre not safe for us dumb ole folks to own yet if yer a hardley rider its ok?

I never rode a three wheeler back in the day, but remember the bad reputation they earned. I think it's more of a differential style combined with rider error that created incidents in the 80's......I would sell a motorcycle with 6 tires if I could put a 30k dollar price tag on it. 🤣
