    I can not express how much I appreciate real life comedy. It's such obvious stuff, but I could never think of any of it myself.
    This guy is really fantastic. And not just for his material. His timing, his body language, his way of making things funny without really making anything seem outright offensive. Brilliant. Bravo, Brad!

    Dry Bar crept into my algorithm... because if you're looking for good clean comedy then this is it. Wholesome comedians who are smart and funny and deliver without resorting to low humour. And I like how he waits for the audience to get the joke... then explains himself... then laughs too.

      😢 my boomer dad would call my cell and assume that it was like a voice message machine so as he left a voicemail.. he'd wait for me to answer, in the message. As if I could pick up the call in the middle of the voicemail message. ❤ He's precious. With an Answering machine message, you could pick up the call at mid message.

      It's tug-of-war a game we used to play in the 60s you have a rope and a group of kids stand at each end of the rope, both sides tug at the rope everyone on your team member helps
      tug. who ever yanks you on their side by tugging the rope toward them wins. Sometimes you can draw a line and tug the rope whoever gets tugged across the line loses.

    I keep watching DRYBAR, but seriously I have not come across a bad comedian yet. I respect the guidelines they have. Mr. Upton is wonderful. Laughter is truly the best medicine, that and my natural vitamins and herbs.😅 Zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs. 100% for clean laughter.

    This man is skilled. A 40 minute comedy routine, nonstop with no stumbling, a steady , fast pace, and did anyone notice, no swearing at all. Basically all clean humor, compared to the vast majority of comedy. No crudity, nothing deeply offensive. A good job.

      @@nathanc11 it's fair that you feel that way. I do agree that people find different things funny. I don't agree with you calling him a true comedian while denouncing comedians who swear. I have seen comedians young and old on both sides of the political spectrum (I don't really think that's a factor tho) who have written more original and funny acts than this one. the jokes were basic. some of the things he said we're incorrect. while he did have a couple of good jokes such as the 80 year old boxing, I do not think that he is a "true comedian." maybe there were people crying to this set, but it just wasn't that funny.

    I miss rotary phone & the fact sometimes the lines would get mixed up and you could hear another persons conversation lightly in background of your own call. Operator wires could listen in on our convos but we could hear them too 😂

    I'm 77 and a part time manager in a non-profit that uses a lot of volunteers. Many are teens or a bit older. Brad is not terribly far off. I've seen that inability to read a clock. Don't know how to use a broom. Etc. Etc.

      @@ChristiannTyler the boomers were the second wave of hippies, they pretty much setup the world as it is, all the post great depression and especially post ww2 kids were coddled and softer than previous generations, suddenly feelings became important on a macro level and so on, they made sure the oligarchy thrives, we just kept on increasing the intensity of their ways to be where we are now.

    I have been watching dry bar comedy for a while now and I have to say this man was the funniest comedian I have seen on here so far! I have never laughed so much non stop in dry bad comedy before! I even sat down and watched the whole show and I have never done that before. I’m always listening in to these in the background while I’m cleaning the house. Anyways good stuff!!

      I don't remember much (if any) house phones on the wall either at home (in France) or at my grandfather house (in Germany)
      we had one in the living room that was on a table of sort and one downstairs in my father's office on his desk with a switch for the line to be either in the living room or in his office
      and he also told my brother and I to never rush to the phone so to pretend you were busy (even if you were sitting right next to it) ^ç^

    It has been a long time since I laughed this much much at a comedian, I very much enjoyed watching this. It is so nice to watch a comedy show where someone is actually telling jokes that are funny and not just trying to use their time to get people to hate different groups of people.

    This guy is a breath of fresh air. I am a millennial raised by boomers and can relate. I had to learn to use a phone book, manual transmission, air conditioning was 2-75, rotary dial phone, and remember when there was not a legal disclaimer on everything. Those were the days....to coin "all in the family."
