When I did my Em vs Jay video, I didn’t mention Eminem’s Re-Up cause thats not an actual album just a mixtape he released for sale. MGK won the beef because his career wasn't destroyed. None of Killshot's lyrics have aged well. MGK's most successful era of music came AFTER the Eminem beef. Ironic. His last album from 2020 was a commercial success. It topped the Billboard and is his only platinum album and he had 4 albums prior that didn't make waves. Eminem beef only skyrocketed his career which completely contradicts what Killshot was supposed to do. In the early 2000s, a diss was supposed to blackball you from the industry. The fact that a diss that sounds good is all that's required to win a beef shows how low the industry's standards have sunk.
The fact that Eminem's diss track was more lyrical is EXACTLY the reason why Eminem won the battle. The mumble rap line has always been weird to me. I suspect eminem got his hand on MGKs Binge EP earlier. Or it may just be Eminem feels MGK is so below his level he might as well be a mumble rapper. The thing about shocking lines though is that MGK is so below Eminem and so unfamiliar to him that I felt it would be weird to expect any amazing revelations about MGK. I guess that comes down to personal opinion. I have always felt Eminem's diss hit MGK where it would hurt MGK personally the most. Eminem played on MGKs love for him and the role model position he had in MGKs life. He made a joke out of MGK. Painting it all as a child throwing a fit. He put a spotlight on how much MGK was really trying to fight hos roll model and how hilarious of a situation it was. Furthermore, his track is dense with lines and really doesn't have much filler or digressions, especially compared to Rap Devil. I felt MGK did an alright diss song, but there was a lot of fluff, which is weird given how much is out there about Eminem. He's not saying that MGK (at least up to the time of "Killshot") is a "mumble rapper" in the truest sense of that phrase; he's implying that MGK raps while having Eminem's dick in his mouth all the time, as someone who, as Eminem put it earlier, "...would suck a dick to fuckin' be me for a second." 1. Binge is an EP, not an album. It’s not an actual project. When I did my Em vs Jay video, I didn’t mention Eminem’s Re-Up cause thats not an actual album just a mixtape he released for sale. He didn’t even sell that mixtape well so its not fair to mention it.

MGK won the beef because his career wasn't destroyed. None of Killshot's lyrics have aged well. MGK's most successful era of music came AFTER the Eminem beef. Ironic. His last album from 2020 was a commercial success. It topped the Billboard and is his only platinum album and he had 4 albums prior that didn't make waves. Eminem beef only skyrocketed his career which completely contradicts what Killshot was supposed to do. In the early 2000s, a diss was supposed to blackball you from the industry. The fact that a diss that sounds good is all that's required to win a beef shows how low the industry's standards have sunk.
The fact that Eminem's diss track was more lyrical is EXACTLY the reason why Eminem won the battle. People think the reason why Em put out killshot was to offend mgk and that couldn't be further from the point. Em litteraly dropped killshot as a HUGE lyrical flex on Mgk. Letting him know that no matter how big HE thinks he is that he will never ever touch the lyrical set of skills that Em has. Killshot was not meant to offend mgk but to litteraly destroy his chances at ever being a competitive lyricist. 1. You can’t admit someone is better than you, you automatically lose.
2. You can’t diss someone for having security when you have tons of security yourself

The mumble rap line has always been weird to me. I suspect eminem got his hand on MGKs Binge EP earlier. Or it may just be Eminem feels MGK is so below his level he might as well be a mumble rapper.
The thing about shocking lines though is that MGK is so below Eminem and so unfamiliar to him that I felt it would be weird to expect any amazing revelations about MGK. I guess that comes down to personal opinion.
I have always felt Eminem's diss hit MGK where it would hurt MGK personally the most. Eminem played on MGKs love for him and the role model position he had in MGKs life. He made a joke out of MGK. Painting it all as a child throwing a fit. He put a spotlight on how much MGK was really trying to fight hos roll model and how hilarious of a situation it was. Furthermore, his track is dense with lines and really doesn't have much filler or digressions, especially compared to Rap Devil. I felt MGK did an alright diss song, but there was a lot of fluff, which is weird given how much is out there about Eminem.
There is something that always kinda bugged me about MGKs rap devil, which Eminem does point out. It is that he never really committed, he was always keeping one foot in the door. "Fuck you, but I love you." Like he didn't come off ready to battle, but more like he was sending an angry text to his girlfriend or some shit.
Also, unrelated to the songs themselves, but I have always felt like MGK came out of this looking like an asshole. The whole beef start was retarded. Fine, maybe you didn't know she was a child, but don't post some random girl you don't even know like, "damn she's hot." Then he's too prideful to apologise for sexualizing a 16 yr old. Like come on dog. You can't be out here making it seem like you're okay with sexualizing a kid, just get over yourself and apologize for your own image's sake. Not to mention it's morally correct to do so.
Finally though, riding the publicity of this battle, MGK should be out performing his old numbers, not barely meeting them. I think that speaks volumes about how irrelevant MGK remains.

He's not saying that MGK (at least up to the time of "Killshot") is a "mumble rapper" in the truest sense of that phrase; he's implying that MGK raps while having Eminem's dick in his mouth all the time, as someone who, as Eminem put it earlier, "...would suck a dick to fuckin' be me for a second." And the sound a person would make rapping with a dick in his mouth would be mumbling. That was the picture Eminem was painting in the diss line.

But any lyrical listener will enjoy killshot more just exasperating at eminems lyrics and flow. It's not close when you truly be unbiased and pick which diss song is better based on actual dissing ability.
