The water should be fine, it was presumably radiation sterilised like most canned food and the pressure release when you opened it means the seal was never broken, the can was neither warped or bulging from internal pressure as it would if there were bacteria inside respiring all over the place inside. The only problem I can see would be if the metal inside the can had corroded and contaminated it, however that's very unlikely as it remained sealed and the water is perfectly clear.
Would be OK. UV or Ozone to kill bacteria and the can would be sanitized before being sealed. I would trust it more then plastic bottles due to plastics turning bad over time.

It's an amazing piece of social commentary of the era but I wouldn't say it's a good thing for a 36 yr old to watch (who doesn't want nightmares and generally grim feelings all over), nevermind a 6 yr old in primary school!
