If this looks familiar thats because it was a portion of the Godox and Fuji video. I wanted a dedicated upload for people looking for this instruction!
The Flashpoint x1-N is the ultimate radio transmitter for Nikon DSLRs that speaks to Flashpoint AD360ii, GodoxLi-on and Godox and Nikon Radio Remote without missing a beat and connects to all strobes with sync ports. The incredible range of these compact and lightweight units as well as their integrated functions and features make them the first choice of professional photographers. The proprietary TTL and HSS enabled 2.4GHz x1 Radio Remote System radio triggers transmits atop a Nikon body with the essential TTL pass-through and laser AF assist and works with the complete family of Flashpoint Speedlights, Monolights and Strobe lights with x1 TTL radio transceiver built right in.
All the x1 enabled family communicate seamlessly: the lithium powered Godox Li-on Nikon, Canon and Sony TTL speedlights, the Godox M alkaline energized speedlight, the fantastic AD360ii 360 Nikon and Canon TTL powerhouse, and the masterful 600ws AD600 monolights. Older Flashpoint flashes can be fired and controlled off camera while being attached to the x1 Radio Remote Receiver FPRRx1RN to grace remote link to earlier models.
The x1-N provides a full proprietary GR Group style interface allowing up to 5 Groups to be individually set to either TTL, Manual, or Off and most importantly, TTL and Manual Groups can be conveniently mixed together as needed. The battery powered units provide TTL, HSS (High Speed Sync) and even a HSS pre-sync timing adjustment for precision synchronization. PC cord sync input andoutput ports are provided for external device remote sync without automation. x1-N receivers are compatible with Nikon CLS system speedlights like the Nikon SB-910, SB-900, or SB700. Controlling the remote strobes is straightforward, with a large clear LCD panel interface aside 3 separate buttons relating to channel, groups and modes, while a thumb wheel provides fast scroll adjustment for the selected function. A simple switch located on the side of the transmitter allows the laser pattern Focus Assist Light to be switched on and off when needed.
    x1T CUSTOM FUNCTIONS
    The x1 Experience/Advantage
The x1 TTL Wireless Flash System is the advanced 2.4GHz radio remote that adds camera TTL dedicated custom functions to your multi flash experience. Easy to use buttons command a full range of functions like reliable channel triggering, group mode selectivity, HSS, all with powerful signal strength and exceptional stability to your selected camera flash language. LED panels clearly display the status of all remotely linked x1 compliant strobes so you always have control of group lighting mastery. x1 wireless communication gives speed of light response to on camera or off camera x1Family devices for a spectacular advantage on the shoot in any environment.
The proprietary TTL and HSS enabled 2.4GHz x1 Radio Remote System transmits atop a modern DSLR body with reliable TTL and pass-through to speedlights, plus laser AF assist.x1 transmitters work with the complete family of Flashpoint Godox Speedlights, AD600 Monolights and AD360ii Strobes with x1 TTL radio transceivers built right in. Hi Robert, there is one power-on mode that you didn't cover. If you hold the test button down while you turn the trigger on, the status LED blinks twice and will allow you to control and trigger units very close to the transmitter. It puts it in a low-power mode that may reduce the maximum range of transmission, but removes the minimum range limitation.

VERY helpful - THANKS! I was completely confused (and pretty frustrated) until watching your video. Successfully got a TT685 and a TT600 to finally work as desired. Yay! The little manual with the trigger was not so clear (being nice about that).
I am not real clear about getting HSS to work properly with those two triggered flashes, but this is a great start.

Many thanks for the tour, congratulations on the clarity of the guide ... I would like to ask a question, and recently that I own X1 transmitter trigger for Nikon with its receiver! It works well I'm happy but I don't understand why if I attach a flash on the transmitter shoe X1, the flash attached to the transmitter does not work, the transmitter X1 triggers the flash attached to the receiver, but does not trigger the flash attached to the transmitter that is attached at Nikon, I don't understand where I'm wrong and ask for help to use the second flash attached to the X1 ... Thanks and sorry my bad English

I have a hard time running the X1Tn and the YN622n together, although I did the custom function of a single pin mode, but every time I have to put the yn below, the x1t above it, then turn yn on first then turn camera on then turn the x1t on so all the flashes would work simultaneously for one shot only, then redo this whole process again, it's a pain in the butt, hope there's a way to make them work better than that

How do you use function 3 with the Godox Sk300 II? More specifically I want to use a sync cable to try to avoid any misfires during a graduation ceremony. I've heard wifi signals can be an issue sometimes and I can't take that chance. I know I need to set function 3 to OU/out but when I do the wireless function on the transmitter and Sk300 still seems to be active. How do I know that it is operating via the sync cable?

    @beerbaron3003 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Good synopsis. What brand of X1 were you using?
The Canon version is a bit different on the custom functions.
C.Fn 04 is rear curtain sync, C.Fn 06 is three or five groups, and C.Fn 07 is flash beep on/off.
You can also hold down 'mode' for 2 secs, to go into group mode, which allows you to mix TTL and manual groups.
And hold down the test button while powering it on, will enable the trigger to fire the flash at close proximity.

I'm using a gh5 with the x1t-o and/or the tt685-o. But I have 2 nikon compatible speedlights -- sb28, Metz -- and a Cactus first gen manual. I've given up on the idea of doing cross brand ttl from the 'o' devices but I hold out hope I might be able to do output controlled manual to either the sb or metz or cactus speedlights. So the question is: is there a receiver, presumably Godox, that will let me manage power level on these legacy flashes from my Godox devices. I'm happy to follow links or search down through comments if this is an old question. Your work on the Godox line in among the best, most articulate and professional I've found. Thanks for that.

Some reviews suggest that the godox x1t and x1r do not allow you to change the power of the nikon flashes wirelessly...have you tried this trigger kit with Nikon body and flash? And did you experience any limitations for controlling flash power wirelessly?
Lastly you touched upon the flash zoom in this video. Can the trigger and receiver automatically adjust the flash zoom automatically based on the current zoom on the camera?

+Yasin Ch I haven’t touched a Nikon SB910 since Godox has had the X series, so I can’t personally vouch for it, but much like the Yongnuo 622 system, you should be able to simply put them in TTL and then the X1+x1R will allow for TTL and manual control.
As for the zoom, I have no idea how an SB910 would behave.

Robert Hall Photography I have just bought myself a godox ad600 after yoir very in-depth review and I can happily say so far I'm very pleased with the light. Thank you for your efforts it does go along way!
I also have purchased 3 x1r-n receivers with an xpro-n. I will keep you updated on my findings, hopefully it can help you for any future queries yoir viewers may have. Cheers once again!

One thing that's confused me about the Godox triggers since the Fuji update a couple of months ago - I can now use a Fuji controller for full remote-control over Nikon or Canon-system flashes, but will it also work with Canon and Nikon Godox receivers? Can I put an SB900 on an X1R-N and an X1T-F on my Fuji camera and have TTL, HSS, etc? Better yet, could I put a 600EX on an X1R-C and trigger it from a *Nikon* camera with an X1T-N attached? It's the universality of cross-compatibility that I can't seem to find an answer for anywhere.

I can't make a claim to all flashes, but I do know a lot of people have found the cross-brand compatibility to work with the receivers too. Not sure specifically for the models you mentioned but people are definitely doing this.

Robert, using this Godox system to fire a speedlight which in turn was to fire off a Bowens studio flash; image was almost black, looked like only capturing available light. Dropping shutter speed to 1/40 made no difference. In the end, I used the pop-up camera flash to fire the studio lights and all worked fine. Any suggestions as to why the Godox system didn't work?

I have never personally attempted optical transmission with Godox gear, but the first thing I’d look at is the S1/S2 option to change the behavior of how it works with preflash.

Hi Robert, Hello sir, i had query regarding the godox x1N reciever with a Nikon sb910. I have a Nikon z6 and the X1Tn transmitter. I cannot seem to activate the HSS at 250ss. And also is it possible to control the power in manual mode via the transmitter??
Also it doesn't shift automatically to TTL mode when I change it on the transmitter. Any help would be much appreciated.
