  • Godox X2t vs XPro vs X1t Trigger, Which Transmitter is Better? I have used all three of these triggers for some time now, and I give a quick run-down of the things that make them all unique and useful. Godox really did a great job on the X2T and I tell you what I think of it too. The Godox transmitters are a great part of the lineup of Godox equipment, and each one can control any other piece of gear, making them extremely versatile. Your X2t trigger can control a V860 flash, or an AD600, just as easily, or... both! This is what I love about the Godox system, is that it really is an expandable system, making these transmitters work with what you already have, as well as any new lighting pieces you purchase later on.
    Get these triggers from Amazon (Yes, we are Amazon Affiliates and do receive a small commission when you use our links at no additional cost to you! Thank you for supporting the channel!)
    amzn.to/2Tpg1Tw Godox X2t (be sure to choose the right one for your camera brand)
    amzn.to/2NrlsgO Godox X1t... I noticed a lower price, that might be a reason to buy it!
    amzn.to/36TbNYe Still an excellent choice!

    Good review, simple and very informative. I ordered Godox TT350s and X2Ts as a bundle and I am happy I did, because as I see here it is an improved model. It is first time I use Godox products. The build quality and materials are not as good as Canon or Nikon flashes, but for the price you can't ask more. Overall I am happy with Godox and looking forward to add more of their products in my kit.

    Another pro with the x2t is that you can see it by moving the camera forward a bit.
    With the Pro you need to totally take your focus away from the camera, look at the top of the display, then reframe.

    i hope godox will soon make a mini transmitter. w ith just a on/off...+/- button to adjust light power if needed. i like to use the flash off camera as fill so that the lights can be near the subject even when i am standing further away( and in broad dayligth every inch of light counts!), all of the transmitter are too big to be kept on the camera permanently. a mini one would be a great addition for travel to the line of transmitter.

  • @Strongbear2013
    @Strongbear2013 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for the review and comparison. The X2T doesn't seem to have a TCM function compared to the XPro does it? Unless I've missed it. That would be the main thing I'd want to improve because otherwise the X2T would be better in every other way.

    • @Strongbear2013
      @Strongbear2013 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Brianized how exactly would one access this function on the X2T? I can't seem to see anything in the manual or online. It only lists it as possibly available on p47 of the manual but is slightly ambiguous because other features have "yes" checked next to the feature, but for TCM it doesn't say "yes" but explains what TCM does. But I don't know if this is saying it does have it or simply explaining its function.

    • @CitySteadingBrews
      @CitySteadingBrews 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Strongbear2013 As I said, I never use it, but I did a check online and TCM function is 'supposedly' part of it. Perhaps that is misinformation?

    • @Strongbear2013
      @Strongbear2013 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CitySteadingBrews I am thinking it is misinformation because although on sites like Amazon in some descriptions it says it's an available feature, when you look in the manual there is nothing to explain how to actually achieve this, at least as far as I can see. And in other TH-cam reviews or even detailed user guides for the X2T it never explains how it can be actually done or that it is actually a feature of the flash trigger. When compared against the XPro in video reviews they always say that TCM isn't available on the X2T. So I am not sure why some sites list TCM in their descriptions with nothing to support this, and as mentioned, even the technical specifications on p47 of the manual is somewhat ambiguous and could also easily mean that it is not actually a feature since it doesn't have a "yes" next to it but just says what TCM does. Perhaps that ambiguity is causing the misinformation.

    1 - Do you know how to set the on-board flash (the flash on top of the transmitter, I’m not an English speaker)? I couldn't find any information about it :(
    2 - On the page 47 from the Manual they are saying about the TCM Function (Transform the TTL shooting value into the output value in the M mode). How to use/activate it?
    3) - Is there any special setting to activate that "Mode" function pressing repeatedly on the group's buttons (Min. 5:50')?
