    Thank you! Your demonstration was very easy to understand. Just received an X1R N and a X2T N. I will use them on my D850 with my SB-900 and SB-800. You saved me a lot of time.

    Your tutorial is the one that makes the most sense. I have a Nikon SB910 and bought both the receiver and transmitter, but had no clue how to use them....till now. Thanks

    Hi Alex, very nice clean presentation. Since I'm purchasing the XpropN TTL transmitter, I am now shopping for the best receiver units for it. Your video popped up and I wasn't disappointed. Great job! I wish you all the best.

    Thank you Alex. I was a Pocket Wizard user for years but got tired of replacing them. This video's and your Xpro-N video got me up to speed quickly.

    Very helpful! I recently got both the receiver and transmitter, but hadn't done much experimenting on actually using them. This saves a lot of poring over the manuals!

    I have been looking for a video to remind me how to control my X1r-S power output while using my Godox Trigger. I've lost my manual and can't seem to find one. Yours was the only video that said to put my X1r-S connected flash in TTL mode. Now I can control light output properly. Thanks for the fix.

    Hey Alex,
    I was a canon user and had canon 600ex rt2 flash and now I have switched to sony a74 and got godox v1 pro flash for it with godox xpro2 trigger. Now I want to use my canon flash with sony a74 along with godox v1 pro for sony. I have godox X1 R for canon flash. I have put godox X1 R channel same as godox xpro2 for Sony camera but canon flash is not getting fired. Please suggest a solution.

    I have mine set up as you described on a Yongnuo 680 but I can't change the power at all. The only way I can seem to get it to work is by putting the flash on manual and change the power on the flash itself. Then the trigger only fire off the flash. I wish I could change the power setting from the transmitter.

    Hi Alex, I have x2t-c and x1r-c, both for Canon R6ii, my flash is Canon 580ex ii. I have set x2t and x1r same CH and GR, even i checked the ID, they are the same. But x2t seems not to trigger x1r. I pressed "test" on x1r, the flash worked, but when i pressed "test" on x2t, the flash did not work. Same as when I press the shutter button on R6ii. Is there anything I missed?

    Hi Alex, very interesting! Just a question: is this system ok also for my Nikon SB800? The formula is: X1R (on top my flash Nikon SB800 in TTL mode) + XPRO in manual mode = I can manage my Flash as it was in manual! Is this correct? Tks!!!

    Thanks for the video!

    • @sandeepraiphotography2111
      @sandeepraiphotography2111 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it does. I use it with my Neewer flashes. You cannot control the power of the Neewer flashes through the Godox trigger and you will have to manually adjust it on the Neewer flash.

    Can I use this device to trigger an older flash via sync cable vs hot shoe? And can an XPro-O trigger this device?

    • @alexsilva_co
      @alexsilva_co  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't tested the X1R with an older flash using sync cable but, according to the manual, it could work. As for the transmitter, I'm almost 100% sure the XPro-o will trigger the X1R receiver.

    Hi Alex I was really happy to find your video but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I'd tryed setting the flash in manual mode as the user manual says, tryed ttl as you suggested and the flash fires but I can not control the power from my transmitter. Any idea of what can be happening?

    Hi Alex! Great tutorial. I was wondering if you know anything about using this with a Canon 430ex ii? I can get the manual and ttl function to work, but high speed sync eludes me. I'm shooting with an Sony a7iii and using the x-pro as well. I'm stuck at 1/125 as the fastest I can go. Is it the limitation of a pre-radio flash? It's not a deal breaker but as I shoot infant and portrait, sometimes a higher shutter speed is demanded. Thanks in advance and no worries if it falls outside your gear knowledge. Cheers

    How can I use a receiver with a flash that is wired (no hotshoe)?

    • @alexsilva_co
      @alexsilva_co  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The X1R has a 2.5mm jack connection on the side that, according to the manual, can be used to trigger wired flashes, like Alien Bees. I have not tested this combination, but I'll share my findings as soon as I do :-)

    • @alexsilva_co

      Hi! I looked up the Triopo G1, but it doesn't seem to be compatible with Godox.

  • @jefferi78
    @jefferi78 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    x1r only works for their dedicated brand flash (nikon, canon, fuji and sony). most third compatible brand will not works even it can trigger the flash (maybe some can work). if so, better get a cheaper or used trigger transmission paired with your dedicated x1t and x2t transmitter.
