  • This is a tutorial showing you more tools in Tinkercad on how you can move, rotate, and align objects to make a more complex 3D design. These tools can be applied to any object you bring onto the workplane. You will learn how to move objects along the X, Y, and Z axis, rotate your object in any direction and align multiple objects so that they are in line or even on top of each other!
    Please check out my other tutorials on Tinkercad as well as other tech related platforms. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe to be notified for future tutorial videos!

    Helpful what I could hear. The voice music level is a bit high compared to the voice channel.

    Hoping to find a way to get the move axis to show up on the first click instead of the scaling numbers. I hate that you have to begin moving the object to get the move axis to appear.

    Good info, but in the description you wrote: "You will learn how to move objects along the X, Y, and Z axis". No we don't. 😃 We learn how to move object only on the *_height_* axis.

    Okay so tinker has a z arrow but no x or y. Geez. I was thinking I must be crazy but that seems the case.

    How to make something flush with the workplane?

    • @quicktechtutorials7289
      @quicktechtutorials7289  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      While there is no button that will automatically flush the object to the workplane, if you click on the object, you should see a small black triangle over the object. If you click and drag on that black triangle, you should see a black line with an arrow appear next to the object as well a measurement showing how far off the object is from the workplane. You can click in the box showing the measurement and type in 0 and hit enter and it will snap the object flush to the workplane. Hope this helps!

    I can only move object with the arrow keys, left click not working....

    • @quicktechtutorials7289
      @quicktechtutorials7289  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This may sound silly but make sure you're holding down the left click button while moving. If you just click and release on an object it will only highlight it. If the object is highlighted, that's when you can move an object via the arrow keys. Let me know if that works.
