*Arduino* Using a push button to power LEDs with if/else statement
If you like this video and want to help support the channel, give this video a like, subscribe to the channel and turn on notifications!
We're back with another Arduino video and this time, we're taking a look at what a push button is, how the pins are arranged, connecting them to two LEDs and using an if/else statement to control what the LEDs do. This is a simple demonstration on the power of if/else statements and using what you learn here, there is so much more you can do such as connecting the button to a speaker, motor, LCD screen, etc!
If you have any questions, feel free to drop them below in the comments. Thanks for watching!

      Also, make sure your LED is in the correct direction. Since current will only flow in one direction from anode to cathode, you may just have your LED backwards which would result in it not lighting up.

    How to make something flush with the workplane?

    • @quicktechtutorials7289
      @quicktechtutorials7289 ปีที่แล้ว

      While there is no button that will automatically flush the object to the workplane, if you click on the object, you should see a small black triangle over the object. If you click and drag on that black triangle, you should see a black line with an arrow appear next to the object as well a measurement showing how far off the object is from the workplane. You can click in the box showing the measurement and type in 0 and hit enter and it will snap the object flush to the workplane. Hope this helps!

      One thing I would look at in your design is the thickness of the other sides that aren't showing up once you slice the model. For example, if your printer settings in Cura has the nozzle size of .4mm and thickness of the model is below that, Cura may not actually be able to make that portion of the model because it's too small. Check it out and let me know if that was the issue. Hope this helps!

      Sounds like you may not have the correct Arduino board selected. In the Arduino program, go to "Tools" at the top and go down to where it says "Board" When your cursor is over that option, a menu should pop up with all different arduino boards. Select the model that you are currently using and try that. Hopefully the fixes the issue!
