    I had to do Ozempic for my diabetes. I was deathly ill at first. I never thought a person would think nausea could kill you. The bliat and constipation had me bedridden. I was on .25 for 2.5 Mos. I've eventually got up to .5mg. My blood sugar was all over the place. This is why I decided to keep up the injections. It helped diabetes tremendously. As far as weight loss it's been slow maybe 10lbs so far. Not an issue even though overweight I knew my organs were taking a beating from the high sugar. I don't eat much due to the nausea and side effects but mu body is strongly attached to its adipose tissue. I'm insulin dependent even though it's not juvenile diabetes. So I will probably be on .5mg for a wrong while

    I'm on tirzepatide (Mounjaro) and I have T2D, so my eating is different than yours. I have a very hard time getting *enough* calories every day, coming in around 1150-1250 kcal per day. But, like you, I do count them and try to get enough protein every day using protein shakes and whey isolate. You look fabulous in your swimsuits. How happy you should be! Good going. Stick with it. It's worth the effort!

    Thank you for this video. I am on day 11 of the shots and I have been trying to stick to a keto type diet. I feel sick all the time, and I am finding myself not eating much at all. I try to get in the protein and the fat. The first week I lost 11 pounds. Now I have been at the exact same weight for days. Like no matter what my body doesn't want to let go of another ounce. I have about 40-50 more pounds to go. I have been really active daily around the house deep cleaning and decluttering, but I have to take many breaks because I feel so sick. Also I am not walking for anything because I do feel so sick. I keep hoping this will get better. I know I am just starting. However, I do appreciate your video because I always struggle, even before the shots, on what to eat.

    Hi there, I've just started Ozempic for T2 Diabetes. I have had the 4 .25 shots and 2 .5 shots. I decided to watch all of your videos before my first shot, because you are so down to earth about it. Probably the one thing we have in common is our height, I am about 4ft 10 inches (148cm) and I weigh about 110 pounds (51kg) so I am a little bit overweight). I haven't really had much in the way of side effects, tiny bit of diarrhea, tiny bit of vomiting and very minor cramping, I came to the conclusion that these side effects happen because you are trying to put more food in before having evacuated the prior food, I enjoyed watching your videos, I hope that the Ozempic will work well for me, the other drugs I have been taking diabetes are not at all pleasent to have to take, side effects horrendous. I live ikn Australia and am about 30 years older than you. I look forward to a reply from you, and hope your ongoing endeavours prove successful for you.

As a type 2 diabetic my sugars are now starting to regulate a little better. I find the first two days following the injection I feel shitty, usually with an upset stomach. Following thise days I feel better and my hunger that use to be a 10/10 I'd now 3/10. Fingers crossed so far so good.

    Well I’m a type 1 diabetic for 43 years and it’s also given to us not only type 2 for us type one it’s serous for us to combine low amounts on insulin and ozempic to maintain control of blood sugars to prevent serious issues so certain medicines should be given to the people who need it to survive first not the other way around wow unbelievable

      Ozempic is only FDA approved for type 2 diabetes. Physicians can prescribe Ozempic for type 1, but that would be off label. Physicians can also prescribe Ozempic off label for chronic obesity. Especially for people with comorbidities like hypertension, prediabetes, insulin resistance, and fatty liver. Would you rather chronically obese patients wait until they get diabetes before starting these medications? I’m on WeGovy which is FDA approved for weight loss FYI. I have all of the comorbidities I listed. I would much rather nip it in the bud now and not get diabetes. My aunt died from diabetes at 55. This medication is quite literally my lifeline.

    I am assuming your not diabetic? Just using it to lose weight? This medication was made for diabetics not weight control it was a positive side effect to the treatment of diabetes.
    People using this for simple weight loss i THANK YOU for making it impossible to getting this medication i actually require because so many use this because they are simply too lazy to go to a gym

    Losing weight simply requires discipline and changing your eating habits, of course also exercise, for very overweight people water aerobics is the best, you use muscles that you would otherwise not use much and protects the joints and every muscle that does the work uses up calories. Ozempic was marketed primarily for type 2 diabetics and was developed in the USA. Unfortunately, the drug has become extremely scarce because of this trend, so that there is almost nothing left for us diabetics. I had to go to a number of pharmacies and drive half a tank to get something else. You have to stop taking the medication at some point and then the yo-yo effect occurs. As a diabetic I am dependent on Ozempic and will have to take it forever. Before I got Ozempic, I lost 80 pounds through discipline, changing my eating habits, and exercise, which has drastically improved my blood sugar levels. You should skip the injection and change your eating habits and get enough exercise. Ozempic is a hormone that has major side effects and can threaten your life. Greetings from Germany.

    • @shachede6828
      @shachede6828 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ozempic is no longer scare here in the US. It was scare due to supply issues. It’s readily available everywhere. You will have to blame Germany for that. And it is approved for weight loss. Same as wegovy. Stop been butt hurt. Talk to your doctor to switch to another diabetic medication if it’s not available in Germany. Obesity kills more than diabetics and makes people diabetic in the United States. There are many options for diabetics patients.also she takes compound semaglutied. Many obese women have seen success and living their best life. Stop been a hater. Trained doctors are prescribing it.

    Can you please stop pushing Ozempic? I'll type 2 diabetic and NEED it. Almost every time I need a refill, I have to wait for my pharmacy (big name national chain) to order it. They rarely have it when I NEED it. I hope you'll consider this. People using it for weight loss are making it harder for people who need it to be able to get it.

    • @parisattic
      @parisattic ปีที่แล้ว +20

      You have to take that up with the FDA. Talk to your local political representative about it.
      Consult other pharmacies about their ability to keep it in stock.
      My mother's big chain pharmacy frequently doesn't have the ability to keep her various (non-diabetic) medications in stock since COVID. I have had problems getting my migraine medications - other migrainers that I know (live in different cities & states than I do) have problems getting their migraine meds too. It's a national problem - not exclusive to the medication you need to survive. My mother is planning her demise because of this very issue (also non-diabetic) - she estimates 5 years.
      Begin your research, and please talk to your representatives. Maybe you are the one who has the fire to get this fixed.

    • @PatriciaGreen
      @PatriciaGreen ปีที่แล้ว +24

      I'm T2D as well, but I don't resent those using these drugs for weight loss. Overweight/Obese is an epidemic now, leading to a whole host of bad outcomes. We need to remember that being overweight/obese is not a lifestyle choice so much as it is a medical problem. *All* sick people need to have their meds. I would suggest consulting with your pharmacist about when to ask for the drugs, timing that would give them a chance to order and receive them in stock. Also, as another commenter said, talk to your congressional representatives. There are bills in the works to address this kind of problem. Lastly, contact the manufacturer to complain about their shortage. If the FDA says the drug is no longer on the "shortage" list, but it's still hard to get, there's a disconnect happening, and that needs to be resolved. Good luck!

      @@PatriciaGreen Thank you for your insight! That's a good point about being overweight is a medical condition. I don't think of it often like that, even though I'm overweight. I have medical conditions that are exasperated by being overweight. I'm so busy fighting those conditions, WHILE I'm losing weight. Thank you for the perspective.

    Ok, so basically you went on a diet. What exactly is magical about this drug??

    • @billmartins5545
      @billmartins5545 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ozempic suppresses your appetite by slowing down how quickly your stomach empties itself so you feel full for longer and don't get peckish/hungry so quickly. It basically helps people stick to a reduced calorie diet. But you can get horrible side effects like vomiting, diarrhea, other GI issues, and some people report anxiety/depression.
