Hey Tim, thanks for the video, it's nice to know what the changes are right away! Also, I accessed the Marshmallow easter egg by simply tracing the circle the marshmallow is in in the clockwise direction :)
I really can't imagine myself ditching stock Android for another flavor, but I'm glad a lot of the major features are incorporated.
I just got the update on my G4 a few days ago. The only problem I have is that one of my micro USB chargers isn't working anymore.
Thanks for doing these Marshmallow updates Tim! Will you be doing the Galaxy S6 Marshmallow update when it comes out? :)

Easter Egg game is tricky, but there. I had to hold down the marshmellow icon. But, for whatever reason, it is not consistent.
I was able to get to the "flappy android" mini game on my device, and silent mode works just just fine pressing the volume down. I'm running a verizon (vs986) model.
As with a lot of other people, on-use time is noticeably worse now, though standby time is of course much improved due to doze, though it wasn't bad at all before.
I thing performance would be more useful for people who are thinking of getting one now.
Did you notice and changes to the camera? Especially video recording...

2 are holding me back 1 beign the app layout I like the lolipop layout where I can move apps to the SD card so easily , and the home controls .. I don't know if Marshmallow takes that away ... Other than that battery and camera are my concerns

Hi Tim now all of a sudden when I connect my phone to my charger there is a Battery Boost charge that appears and I have to slide to the right to get into my phone have you heard anything about this being part of the update?
can you tell me what version my LG4 is it has Android 6.0 it has everything you said but it has extra features including, two SIM cards , can be put into the phone and it has the same memory as yours speed and usage, I was watching and comparing to your phone. I bought it on February the 2nd 2016 , it had marshmallow straight out of the box , like in your video the icon for auto lighting, when you put it on, you can see the intensity icon move like in your video. when I go into settings, there are a lot of settings that I did not recognise on your screen. in fact when I go into settings it goes into 4 sections a bit like the Samsung Note 3 i have, for example , when I go into settings to the extreme left, it has (networks )next to that that ,(sound and notifications) next to that , (display )and next to that , (General )similar to my note 3? have you any idea..if you can help would appreciate it.

I have a tmobile G4 and I upgraded one feature I was looking forward was being able to use SD cards as internal storage but my G4 does not let me format my SD cards as internal storage anyone else having this issue???

Straight Savage it got a bit smoother, but overall I didn't notice any huge improvements. I thought the doze feature will get me more battery life, but doesn't seem like it...

So, they added silent mode, but fucked knock code. Who the hell would use 6 taps code? PIN or pattern is much more easier now. Not worth to update

No idea honestly... But it's not hard at all to do, the huge drawback is that you have to reset the phone to do it :/ anyway I though it was worth it and I do like it a lot. I got 4h of screen on time at times which never happened on lollipop for me.

they disabled the app drawer in the G5. I assume it's like iOS where all app icons are on the desktop.
