I'm so glad I found your channel! Just normal people on bikes they actually paid for, riding their local area, and enjoying the experience. This is what bike channels SHOULD be.
Now then Roy & Wendy.....after watching your review of the Luxebiking Astraflex Pro gloves...... I bought two pairs!......well very comfy gloves indeed, been wearing pearl izumi elite padded mitts for years but these are my new go to gloves....cheers. 'Ull' east yorkshire.
Yup I miss mine…even if they were too big…just done a Glorious Gravel ride in Dumfries and crumbs it wasn’t glorious…you really needed the cushioning on the hands!!
I viewed this video when it was first posted and had no comments. Thought I'd look thru it again and read any reactions. Roy, sorry to find out you got hit with Covid. Take care. I lost a nephew during the first wave. Found the sheep 'traffic jam' pretty interesting. The closest I've ever come to anything like that while riding is encountering a large flock of geese who really take their time to move out of the way. Wendy, you keep on singing. Don't let Roy discourage you. 😊 (I realize he's just teasing. 😊) My notifications indicated a new RWR video this morning. Opened up TH-cam but no video. Oh well, if there is one, I'm sure it will pop up eventually. Enjoy your summer rides. 👍
@LLewis-vu9qf Hi, Linda. No video earlier and then, just like the 47 bus, two come along at the same time. I’m sorry to hear that you lost your nephew to Covid. Our neighbour also succumbed and he was only in his fifties. Fortunately i’m fit and healthy so got through it okay, but I can see how it can be rough for some. I tested negative yesterday so got out for an e bike ride today.
@@RideWithRoy -- The video I was 'missing' was the one where you were riding with Jonathan. It did pop up a few hours later just as I expected it to do. Glad to read you made it thru Covid okay. Knock on wood I managed to escape it, so far. Enjoy your summer riding.
The quickest way to move sheep is to shout 'Mint Sauce'! Those roads! I'd say they verge on being dangerous. Just no money in the budget to fix them I suppose. Wendy certainly knows a lot of songs, first lines at least. Enjoyed your ride, unfortunately I can't get out at present due to a health issue but hope to soon. In the meantime videos like yours are the next best thing. Thanks for the video.
@@colinwellman9480 sorry to hear that, Colin. I hope you feel better soon. I’m a bit behind with videos as I’ve just had my first ever experience of Covid. It was real nasty with every symptom possible thrown in. Fortunately, I’m on the mend now and have plenty of footage to edit until I feel up to riding again.
@@RideWithRoy Sorry to hear you've had it, still a lot of it around and itcan be nasty. Looking forward to your review of electronic shifting. I'm not in the market but find your reviews honest and to the point.
Nice cafe stop Roy I couldn't\t see anything on the menu beginning with bacon and ending with butty🙂 you do have some good roads unfortunately rural Lancashire is resembling your paint stirrer!
'Ride like the Wind' by Christopher Cross might work as it's a song about energy and persistence. It has a nice pace that could go well with cycling. Time for Wendy to rehearse! 😊Thanks for the nice video. Whatever Wendy has won the I hope she enjoys it very much.

@@chuckhunter77 thanks, Chuck, although you are probably being over generous calling us normal 😀
😂😂 indeed rarely been called “normal”

Nice one Roy,, and that ‘tea stop’ looks just as good “ 2nd time around” 😉

@@pete1927 that worried me, Pete, but it was off menu and very tasty!
Encounters with animals: on a 30°C day in 2005 I did a gritty 8% climb in the Jura behind a herd of cows with, er, digestive issues. Type 2 fun.

Wasn’t “Ride Like The Wind” originally by the British Rock Band Saxon.
Just checked and it was written by Chris Cross and covered by Saxon.

Ohh I know the first line of that! It really was amazing!!!

Here in Ohio, USA we don't see that EVER.
