@@GarageNoise i thaught i knew a lot about pannelbeating and spray painting until i came across your channel. I have to admit i love learning your content
You said you hoped the run on the fender didn’t draw some color out with it , if you were to let the base dry longer would it still be activated and bleed into the clear just wondering? Thanks !
Beautiful finish from the 4600 there Chris, I love that colour as it almost looks like a 3 stage colour similar to the 46V. This is one gun that I don't have and regret not buying one a couple of years ago as the prices here in the UK have almost doubled so I'm not sure if I will get one. If you are looking for a super fine atomising gun the take a look at the Sata X5500 HD with the new 1.3CC setup, I got the tip set for mine and it lays the clear so flat it's unreal but it does take a bit of getting used to as you have to change you spraying style a little by going closer and upping the pressure👌🙏👍John UK
I ran across your channel a few weeks ago, man thanks for being honest and true and showing the real deal with your teaching. Gives a diy’er like me more confidence with every video I watch, you haven’t let me down yet! Thanks
Hi Chris, Beautiful color. It almost looks like a candy. The Sagola 4600 xtreme is a beautiful gun. One needs a big compressor to use it, around 8cfm. Will you make a video on the taking out the minor flaws? Thanks!!
Hello! Thanks! for all the good and valuable Videos you make. I have a Volvo s60 Year model 2018. The color of the car is Solid Red. From what I've read, the Solid color is covered with a few coats of 2 component clear coat. They didn't do that on older cars. Or what do you think. I intend to sand with p800 all over the car. "On all red lacquered parts" so that the surface is smooth and fine. (I smooth down the surface). After cleaning the surface, I intend to fill in some solid red paint with a toothpick, a few times in each stone shot, with 10 minutes between each time. Then I will put 2-3 layers of 2 component clear coat, on the solid color, on the whole car. Could you please give me some valuable information regarding this. If I'm about to do something wrong, that ruins my original paint or something. Is it okay to put 2-component clear coat on solid color? Thanks! from Tommy Bertilsson from Sweden
I have every high end spraygun on the market. Only Pete's Hobbies has more spray guns than I do. That stated the Sagola 4600 Xtreme is the best spray gun on the market for a professional painter. I've got SATA, I've got Iwata Supernova's, I've got Walcom Carbonio's I've got more DeVilbiss than the Gunman and in my opinion the 4600 Extreme is the king of the hill. The 1.2XL is the way to go with the DVR clear or the Titania Pro cap. The Titania Pro cap can do both base and clear whereas the DVR clear is clear only.
Been painting cars/fenders/etc for a little bit. Between the fender and the door, do you put anything in there for overspray? I see expensive rolls of foam for softer edges on the doors/quarters. Thanks in advance, your video's are helpful, and I appreciate the time recording, editing, and creating great content for us novices.
I've bought the lvlp gun, plan use pps system. I'm running a small 26 gal compressor and will get the filter and regulator for the gun. I run straight off the compressor, should I add more filters?😊
Your first coat of base looked really wet and the next ones not so much, was that intentional? Do you press the trigger all the way down through each coat and also while blending? because the second and third coat of base looked as if you were spraying less material. Thank you
Man when you were going over fender i had feelings its gona run but the person whos painting have so much to look after while painting these things only look minor Thanks for being honest
Why do paint video guys have to say "go ahead" so much? I'm gonna go ahead and tint the sealer, then I'll go ahead and apply the first coat. Great videos but please stop the "go ahead".
@@GarageNoise LOL. Just trying to be constructive and not an A-H. The content is great, the presentation is very good and the usefulness to we DIYers is top notch, but less "go aheads" and its past tense brother "went ahead" would make the vids even better.
I bought 2 vevor 24" exhaust fans for my home garage. Amazing difference compared to regular old box fans.
I have a couple of those as well they are much better than the box fans
Clean job
Much appreciation. Your honesty and clear instructions are excellent.

Love the video, On your 4600, Which needle are you using?

I use Bulldog..good addhessvis
That turned out awesome, especially for not having much trigger time with that Sagola.
What was the approximate temp in there while you were clearing?

How do you like the Finish 1? I use this product and it seems to be a very durable and forgiving clear.
My son has this exact same truck. Just hit a tree 🌳
👍
Hi, how do I know when to use the difference mixes? Especially regarding sealers?
Hi brother can u please let me no which compressor you use for your lvlp setup
What tips are used for paint. Expoxy primer, sealer I’m lost I’ll be running a610 and yt160
Hi Chris, have you considered an inflatable paint booth? It really removed a lot of trash in my paint work and they are very affordable.
What gun would you recommend for primer?
I currently have the R500 which I do the base and clearcoat with.
I like the orig r500 for primer
that's what I have, but isn't the 1.3 nozzle to small for primer?@@GarageNoise
@@osam2772 I use R500 with a 1.5 tip
It eeally depends how thick you spray prime but yes generally the 1.3 is a bit small for primer
Hi Chris What's the difference between upol 2253 and the upol 2253v
I can't find a difference. I think it has something to do with voc regulations. I need to talk to upol about that.
@@GarageNoise I would really appreciate if you let me know if you have any info thanks and by the way I really enjoy watching your videos
Te perle nikako ne prekrivaju... Ja stavljam tamno sivi filler. Odlično odrađeno! Nisam skužio koliko ste otvorli materijal na 1.2 pištolju...
Thank you!
