My parents bought a couple goji vines last year, and this year they produced enough fruit so that I thought I'd try it. I don't know how many others have had this experience with goji berries fresh from the vine, but mine is that after a second or two I'd get this wonderful sweet flavor, followed a second later by what I can best describe as a mild, minty bite that lasts for a split second. I like mint, so that aftertaste is more encouraging to me than anything else. However, I have found that the minty after taste comes more quickly and stronger when I eat two berries at a time. So, I like to eat them one at a time.

High energy wavelength... E=hv or put plainly, the energy of a single photon equals Plank's constant multiplied by the frequency of light. So which high energy wavelength do goji berries affect? Ultraviolet wavelengths have the highest energy towards the beginning of the visible spectrum which starts around 380nm-400nm depending on who you talk to. Our eyes can only see from ~380nm to about 750nm depending on who you talk to. So I'm curious which wavelength region goji berries affect in our ocular photopic response?

Warfarin is a blood thinner and Goji Berries are also a blood thinner. When I was having heart surgery I was on warfarin for the surgery and shortly afterward. They wanted a list of all the supplements I was on and you would be surprised at how many supplements warfarin interacts with. But if you are on warfarin, doctors don't want you to eat spinach or a lot of other leafy green vegetables because they contain vitamin K1, which thickens your blood. Interestingly K2 is fine. So if you're on a blood thinner then notify your doctor that you're going to start taking Goji Berries so that they can dial your prescription meds down.

I've been on this road to recovery and reversal for several years and so I can tell you from experience, freedom requires eternal vigilance. Cut out added sugar first. Move on to eating fewer meals in a day. Get down to one meal per day and then watch what you eat at that meal. Start with protein and then in 20 or 30 minutes move on to the carbohydrate portion. Supplement with Berberine and D-Ribose. In less than 6-months, your sugar will be under control and you'll be off Metformin. Consider taking Chromium and Vanadium supplements too.

Chlorella and/or cilantro to pull heavy metals into your GI tract, which must be followed with Activated Charcoal about an hour later to bind with the heavy metals so they don't get reabsorbed into your blood through your intestinal wall.
Read up on this, there are more details to be aware of. Also look into the Niacin sauna protocol.

I would NOT trust this guy's info alone on heavy metals. First of all the goji berries I have in front of me with a prop65 warning label are Not from California. They're grown in China.
He also says he eats goji berries regularly, then says he's not worried about heavy metals because it's not a problem unless you eat them regularly. Which he does. So it's a problem.
Also, the fact that heavy metals are prevalent in so many types of fish does not mean you should ignore the warnings, it means you should limit your consumption of those types of fish!
      Nice guy, not great info.

People in China use goji berry to make soup or tea. We don’t eat it in dry form.

Based on this video, I bought Goji Berries from Amazon, but I am going to disappoint you, that I didn't like it at all, it tastes & smells horrible and has a high sugar content, BTW, it's not a Keto friendly food. If anyone is interested to buy it, but still in two minds to buy it or not, please don't buy it, it's just a hype, save your money. I regret that I bought it.
